RAW-1/29/24
At The Beginning Again
Since I was filming something about an hour after my creative meeting, I decided I'd do my hair and makeup for the show tonight myself. Before the show I'd just stop over at makeup to have something written under one of my eyes. I did my hair first I could practically do my signature side braid in just a couple of minutes at this point. I went for a red eyeshadow of course but I did it very subtle and a little heavy on the eyeliner because I wanted my eyes to pop. I put on my new Brair Wild cropped tank top because I wanted my tattoo to be shown, red cargo pants with black high-top sneakers that had red accents. Paul, Solo, and I were going over to the arena first and the rest of the family would be over in a couple of hours.
"Think you can handle the rest of the family without me for a few hours?" I asked Roman as I was getting ready to leave the hotel room.
"I can't believe your leaving me with the rest of them," he said shaking his head as if he didn't know how he was going to do this.
"I say if any of them get out of line just let Sergeant handle them," I told him and he grinned at me before laughing.
"Think it'll work?" he asked hopeful.
"You know with Sergeant you never know. I think by this point I know him then he does something that takes me off guard."
"Well then he must take after you, you sticking with whatever the plan creative has for you tonight?" he asked and I felt caught red handed but I also felt like he'd just let me get away with whatever tonight so I didn't deny anything.
"I think you know the answer to that and I have a good reason. Why the hell should I play second to Cody Rhodes. I'm the one who's been gone for how long and shook the world with my return. He's already won the rumble and has had his spotlight but let's ignore me and focus first and foremost on him," I said sounding way bitter then I thought I was but then maybe I was that bitter. The laughing and humor in the air around us was gone. It was replaced by seriousness and reality. Roman leaned down kissing me on my cheek.
"I just heard you loud and clear, tonight you do whatever it is you think you need to do and you say whatever it is you need to say. I have your back and you have my support," he whispered in my ear. His words tighten around my heart but I wasn't going to get emotional about this today I was using my anger and determination to steal Monday Night RAW and Cody's moment was going to belong to me.
"Thanks Chief, good luck here," I said returning to a more of a joyous expression.
"Good luck there, my beautiful Wildfire," he said as he ran his hand down my braid.
"Solo, Paul are you ready?" I asked them turning in the direction of the living room as they were talking to others. Solo dropping the conversation right away and came over. We stepped out into the hallway the camera crew waiting for us. I turned to say something to Solo before noticing Paul hadn't followed. I looked back to the door as Roman had leaned in closer to say something to Paul. He quickly nodded before leaving to catch up to us. We waited at the elevator and when it opened, I turned to look at the camera rubbing my hands together.
"Let's see how Wild we can get today."
"You're going to stress me out today aren't you."
"It won't be too bad I'm only going to push a few buttons."
"Perhaps you could tell me your plan before we get to the meeting that why I can already know how best to help you?" Paul asked.
"Who says I'm going to tell them my plan to begin with?" I questioned back.
