The Final Split of The Bloodline

(FOR NOW)

"You're really not going to come to the show tonight?" Zilla asked as him and Jacob were getting ready to head out for their show Thursday evening.

"I still can't believe you're asking after what happened on the fourth of July. We were lucky at the first one, damn lucky on the second one, you seriously wanted to tempt fate again?" I questioned.

"That was over a month ago, plus Jacob will be there. If you think no one bugs you when you're with me or with the other family members around, I assure you they all will keep their distance from him," he said trying to convince me.

"Wasn't it just yesterday you told Jacob not to give me ideas because the last one you gave me ended with me causing a riot."

"Yes, I did but come on we a team remember, B, it'll be weird not to have you at this particular show now and you know Jake always wants to see you," he tried more to convince me, like telling me I could see Jake was some kind of selling point which it wasn't.

"What's that mean? What does Jake have to do with anything?" Jacob asked coming into Zilla's room to see what the holdup was all about.

"Nothing really, I'm just sort of mentoring him a bit, if that's what you want to call it," I told him and he crossed his arms.

"Really, an arrogant asshole like him. You sure you want to waste your time with him?" he questioned.

"You actually haven't seen him since he met Briar, he's way better in the ring and he isn't always an asshole anymore just some of the time," Zilla told him.

"I guess I'll get to see that first hand since he is one of our opponents tonight," Jacob pointed out.

"Wait he is?" I asked looking to Zilla.

"Right did I forget to mention that," Zilla said rubbing the back of his head. "My bad," he added.

"Look I'm sorry guys even if I wanted to I can't. After the last show Roman said no more, unless there was family there to watch my back on top of having security."

"Jacob and I are family, we will be there, so problem solved then."

"Not solved. It has to be family who isn't competing, you both in the ring at the same time means I'm without family. And I assure you Roman was very clear about this and with everything going on right now I don't want to stress or piss him off anymore," I explained and Zilla's shoulders sagged. I stepped forward and gave him a hug.

"Even without me there, Z, I'm still with you, my fighting spirt is always next to you," I told him.

"Fine," he sighed when I stepped back and he grabbed his bag as he went over to Jacob. "I can't believe I'm saying this but please don't destroy Jake too bad, I'd like to see my apprentice get farther along in his wrestling career."

"We'll see what we can do about that but no promises," Zilla said then winked at me.

"So how did that all come about?" Jacob asked.

"Zilla don't," I said warning him about not telling Jacob about Jake and I's first encounter but Zilla gave me that evil look. "At least not till after the match, there be nothing left of the guy."
