The morning sun cast a soft glow through the curtains of Jeff's room, but the warmth did little to soothe the storm brewing inside him. He lay in bed, staring at the ceiling.

A knock on the door broke Jeff's reverie. Before he could respond, Bible walked in, his expression unreadable. Jeff sat up, his heart racing. The tension between them was palpable, a mix of unspoken emotions and unresolved conflicts hanging in the air.

"Morning," Bible said, his voice low.

Jeff nodded, avoiding Bible's gaze. "Morning."

Bible walked over to the window, looking out as if searching for something to anchor his thoughts. "Apo and I had a talk," he said finally. "He explained himself, but it doesn't excuse what he did."

Jeff clenched his fists, trying to keep his voice steady. "Why did he do it?"

Bible turned to face him, his eyes dark with frustration. "He thinks you're a distraction. He doesn't understand why you're important to me."

Jeff's heart skipped a beat at Bible's words, but he pushed the feeling aside. "And what did you tell him?"

"I told him to stay away from you," Bible said firmly. "I do not want anyone to try to make you uncomfortable."

The sincerity in Bible's voice made Jeff's chest tighten. He wanted to believe him, but the uncertainty of their situation made it difficult. "Why do you care so much?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Bible took a step closer, his gaze intense. "Because, despite everything, there's something between us. Something I can't ignore."

Jeff felt a lump form in his throat. He wanted to deny it, to push Bible away, but the truth was undeniable. "I don't know what this is," he admitted, his voice shaking. "But it scares me."

Bible reached out, his hand gently cupping Jeff's face. "It doesn't  scares me " he confessed.

For a moment, they stood there, the world outside forgotten. The tension between them was electric, a pull that neither could resist. Slowly, Bible leaned in, his lips brushing against Jeff's in a tender kiss.

Jeff's heart pounded as he kissed Bible back, the confusion and fear melting away in the warmth of their embrace. When they finally pulled apart, Jeff felt a strange sense of peace.

"I don't know where this go?" Jeff asked, his voice barely a whisper.

Bible sighed,  resting his forehead against Jeff's.

As they stood there, holding onto each other, the uncertainty of their future loomed over them.

Outside the room, Apo watched from a distance, his jaw clenched. He couldn't understand why Bible was so drawn to Jeff, but one thing was clear – he wouldn't give up so easily. As he turned and walked away, a plan began to form in his mind, a plan that could change everything.
