Bible stood proudly in the middle of the grand living room, his hand intertwined with Jeff's. "We have some exciting news to share with all of you," he began, his voice brimming with happiness. "Jeff and I are expecting a baby."

The room fell into a polite murmur of congratulations, but Bible's eyes instinctively darted toward Tong and Apo. Tong leaned back in his chair, seemingly uninterested, while Apo quietly sipped his drink, his face void of emotion.

Jeff's smile faltered as he noticed their lack of enthusiasm. After the crowd dispersed to mingle, Jeff tugged Bible aside. "They didn't even care," he murmured, his voice barely audible but filled with hurt.

Bible's brow furrowed, his gaze following Jeff's to where Tong and Apo stood, engrossed in a private conversation. "Hey," Bible said softly, turning back to Jeff and placing his hands on his shoulders. "Don't let it get to you. Some people just take longer to come around."

Jeff shook his head, his eyes glistening. "It's not just that. It feels like they don't like me, like they're just waiting for me to mess up."

"They don't know you like I do," Bible said firmly, pulling Jeff into a comforting embrace. "And honestly, if they don't see how amazing you are, that's their problem-not yours."

Jeff nodded against Bible's chest, but the ache in his heart didn't fully fade. "I just want them to be happy for us," he whispered.

"They will be," Bible promised, his tone resolute. "I'll make sure of it. But even if they aren't, I am, and that's what matters most."

Later that evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Bible led Jeff through a set of ornate glass doors at the back of their mansion. Jeff's eyes widened as he stepped into a lush, secret garden. It was like stepping into another world-an oasis of greenery and vibrant colors, plants of every shape and size surrounding them.

"Bible... what is this?" Jeff asked, his voice full of awe.

Bible smiled, his eyes warm with affection as he watched Jeff's amazement. "I know you've always loved nature, and I wanted to give you a space that was just for you," he said softly, taking Jeff's hand. "A garden where you can be at peace and watch things grow, just like we are."

Jeff could barely believe what he was seeing. The garden stretched far beyond the house, with winding paths, clusters of colorful flowers, and trees that seemed to shimmer in the evening light. There were also delicate potted plants, herb gardens, and even a small koi pond with soft, melodic water trickling down from a stone fountain.

"I've been working on this for months," Bible continued, his voice filled with pride. "I wanted it to be perfect for you... something to remind you of the peace and beauty in the world, no matter what happens."

Tears welled up in Jeff's eyes, touched by the depth of Bible's thoughtfulness. "This is... this is incredible. I don't even know what to say."

"You don't have to say anything," Bible replied, pulling Jeff close and kissing the top of his head. "Just know that it's for you, and whenever you need to escape, this place will be here."

Jeff inhaled the scent of the flowers, the air fresh and fragrant. He felt his heart swell with gratitude. "I love it," he whispered. "I love you."

Bible grinned, his fingers gently cupping Jeff's face. "And I love you. Always."

The two stood there for a while, surrounded by the serenity of the garden, basking in the warmth of the moment and the promise of the future they were building together.

Bible's eyes were fixed on Jeff, who was utterly absorbed in tending to the plants, his soft humming barely audible from where Bible sat. The sight tugged at something deep within Bible-a mix of pride and possessiveness.

Tong appeared beside him, settling on the bench with a slow, deliberate motion. He didn't speak at first, simply observing Jeff with an amused smirk tugging at his lips.

"Look at you," Tong finally said, his tone dripping with mockery. "Building this little fairy tale for him. You're really leaning into the 'happily ever after,' aren't you?"

Bible chuckled, leaning back against the bench, his arms spread wide in a gesture of utter confidence. "Fairy tales are overrated. I'm creating something better-something real."

Tong let out a low laugh, shaking his head. "Oh, please. The way you're spinning this? Even the greatest love stories would kneel before the masterpiece you're crafting. It's almost disgusting how perfect you're making it."

Bible laughed, the sound rich and unrestrained. "Disgusting? No, Tong, it's genius. Jeff deserves perfection, and I'm the only one who can give it to him."

Tong leaned forward, his elbows resting on his knees, his smirk sharpening. "You know, you might actually pull it off. The grand love story. The whole 'us against the world' vibe. But tell me this-what happens when the cracks start to show? When the truth slithers its way out of that dark little hole you stuffed it into?"

Bible tilted his head, a sly grin playing on his lips. "Then I'll rewrite the story. Patch the cracks, bury the truth deeper. Because at the end of the day, Tong, no one's tearing this down-not while I'm here."

Tong laughed again, the sound more approving this time. "You're something else, Bible. Twisted, obsessive, and a little too good at this game. But damn, if it isn't entertaining to watch."

Bible's gaze flicked back to Jeff, his expression softening for a moment. "It's not a game, Tong. It's love. And if I have to play dirty to keep it, so be it."

Tong stood, his smirk still firmly in place. "Whatever you say, brother. Just remember-every fairy tale has its villains. And you, Bible? You might just be the best one yet."

Bible let out another laugh, shaking his head. "Villains get the job done, Tong. And trust me, this story? It's mine to write."

As Tong walked away, Bible's gaze lingered on Jeff, a spark of determination flaring in his eyes. "Fairy tale or not," he muttered, a smirk tugging at his lips, "he'll always be mine."
