Two Days Ago
Mile paced the parking area, his mind racing with plans to free his brother Jeff. As he approached his car, he noticed a figure leaning casually against a pillar. The man straightened as Mile drew closer.
"Hey, Mile," the man said, crossing his arms over his chest.
Mile arched an eyebrow. "Who are you?"
"Apo," the man replied smoothly. "I can help you save your brother."
Mile's curiosity piqued. "Why would you want to help me?"
Apo smirked. "Do you think Bible will easily let Jeff go? You don't know who he is. Bible won't give up your brother easily. If you don't act now, you might have to bear what's going to happen to Jeff. They're too close now, if you didn't know."
Mile was stunned but tried to keep his composure. "Okay, I need your help. But what's the plan?"
Apo's expression turned serious. "Before we make a plan, we have to make a deal."
"A deal?" Mile echoed, suspicion creeping into his voice.
"Yes, a deal," Apo confirmed. "You have to give us the south side fully, and 10 million baht."
Mile's eyes widened. "What? That's too much."
Apo shrugged and started to turn away. "Okay, then forget about it."
"Wait!" Mile called out, desperation in his voice. "I'll give you anything. I need my brother back."
Apo turned back, a satisfied smile playing on his lips. "Good. I need one of your ex-bodyguards, and the rest of it I'll handle."
Mile's suspicion flared again. "Why are you really helping me? You're supposed to support Bible, and you're betraying him. You know that, right?"
Apo's eyes darkened. "I know what I'm doing. I've always supported my brothers, but I can't support this. I don't like Jeff being with Bible."
Mile was silent for a moment, weighing Apo's words. "Fine, deal. What's the plan?"
Bible didn't think about anything else as he looked at Jeff, who was lost in his thoughts. He knew he had to make Jeff understand his feelings. The door opened, and Jeff smiled at Bible, who hugged him closer and kissed him lovingly.
"I have a surprise for you tonight," Bible said.
Jeff was excited, and they kissed hard. They didn't know Mark was watching them. Bible sensed someone's presence and looked around, seeing Mark.
"What is it?" Bible asked, his voice tinged with annoyance.
When Jeff saw Mark, he tried to pull away from Bible, but Bible held him tight. "Khun Bible, dinner is going to be ready soon," Mark said, his voice steady but his eyes betraying his inner turmoil
.Bible nodded, his eyes never leaving Mark's. "Leave us," he ordered.Mark hesitated for a moment before nodding and retreating, closing the door behind him
. Once they were alone, Bible looked back at Jeff, his eyes softening. "You don't need to worry about him," he said, his hand gently caressing Jeff's cheek.
Jeff nodded, feeling a mix of emotions. He knew Mark's presence meant something more, but for now, he wanted to focus on the man in front of him.
Bible's touch, his kiss, made everything else fade away.Bible drew Jeff closer, their foreheads touching. "Tonight is just for us," he whispered, a promise in his voice.Jeff smiled, his heart swelling with affection. Whatever the future held, he knew that in this moment, he was exactly where he wanted to be.
Bible guided Jeff through the hallway, a mischievous glint in his eyes. Jeff followed, curiosity bubbling up inside him. As they approached the dining room, Bible paused and turned to face Jeff.
"Close your eyes," Bible instructed with a soft smile.
Jeff complied, his excitement mingled with a hint of confusion. Bible led him a few more steps before stopping. "Okay, open your eyes."
Jeff opened his eyes to see the dining room transformed. The table was set with an elaborate feast, and decorations adorned the room. A large banner read, "Happy Birthday!"
Jeff's eyes widened in surprise. "My birthday... I forgot all about it."
Bible wrapped an arm around Jeff's shoulders, pulling him close. "I didn't. Happy birthday, princess"
Emotion welled up in Jeff's chest. He hadn't celebrated his birthday in years and the fact that Bible had remembered touched him deeply. They shared a kiss, and Jeff felt warmth and happiness surge through him.
Bible's expression was one of anticipation as he looked at Jeff. "Are you happy?" he asked, a hint of excitement in his voice.
Jeff smiled, feeling warmth spread through him. "I am. Thank you"
"I have another surprise for you," Bible said, his tone teasing as he took Jeff's hand and led him to the bedroom.
Once inside, Bible handed Jeff a small box. Jeff opened it to find a heart-shaped pendant with an intricate design that made it seem like the heart
"It's beautiful," Jeff whispered, genuinely touched.
Bible chuckled softly, watching Jeff's reaction. "I’m glad you like it."
Later, as they were sitting together, Jeff looked at Bible with a mix of confusion and wonder. "I can't believe you've changed so much. From a captor to someone so... sweet."
Bible's laughter filled the room, but this time it held a chilling edge. "It's only fair you see this side of me. But don’t be mistaken. I haven't changed entirely. I’m still the same man underneath."
As the room grew quieter, Bible's grip on Jeff's hand tightened slightly. "Do you really think a pendant changes anything? Do you think I can forget the power I hold over you?"
Jeff's heart raced, a sense of unease settling in. "Bible, what are you saying?"
Bible leaned in, his voice a menacing whisper. "I gave you this gift to remind you that you're mine. You can wear it as a token of my affection, but never forget its true meaning. It symbolizes your heart, open and vulnerable... to me."
Jeff tried to pull away, but Bible's grip was unyielding. "Why are you doing this?" he asked, his voice trembling.
Bible's eyes darkened. "Because, I need you to understand that no matter how sweet I may seem, the darkness within me is never far away. You're bound to me, heart and soul, and there's no escape."
The room's atmosphere became oppressive as Bible's words sank in. Jeff realized that despite the moments of tenderness, the underlying darkness of their relationship was inescapable.
