98. Merry Christmas

It was Christmas Eve. All the children had been put down for the night, and the adults were getting ready for bed themselves.

Barf Bag was in her room, preparing her last present for Donut while he was in the bathroom getting ready for the night. She placed it in the bottom of the bag, covered the gift with tissue paper, and put it underneath their bed, so Donut wouldn't find it.

As Donut came back from the bathroom, Barf Bag suppressed the smile on her face so as to not give away the surprise. This gift was something special, and she wanted to keep it that way.

Donut, despite Barf Bag's efforts, could sense something was off, "What's going on, Barfy?"

"Nothing," She replied, keeping her tone as neutral as possible "Just excited for tomorrow morning is all! It's gonna be so cute watching the kids open their gifts, and I'm excited to see everyone else's reactions to their gifts too!"

Donut was still suspicious, but accepted her response, "It's getting late, we should probably head to bed now.

Barf Bag started crawling into bed, "I agree, I'm getting tired. Goodnight, Donut."

"Goodnight, Barfy," Donut said, wrapping his arms around Barf Bag, as the two of them drifted off to sleep,

"Mommy. Mommy!" Bladey whispered, excitement filling her voice.

Saw flickered her eyes as she started to wake up, "Bladey? Is that you?"

"IT'S CHRISTMAS! YAY!" She shouted, also waking Gaty up in the process. "I can't wait to see all the cool gifts Xanta left me!"

Gaty was annoyed to have just gotten a rude christmas awakening, "Yay." She said sarcastically, "It's christmas."

"Gaty!" Saw whispered, "Let her have some fun! She's gonna grow up before we know it!"

Bladey grabbed Saw's hand, trying to pull her out of bed, "Come on, Mommy! I wanna open some presents!"

Saw chuckled, "Eggar now, are we? We have to wait for everyone else to get up and have breakfast first. Then we can open some presents."

Bladey was upset, but listened anyway, "Awww, okay then."

As each member of the team woke up one by one, Pin served them each a waffle with toppings of their choice.

"Merry Christmas Mommy! Thank you for the waffle!" Thread said, happily eating away.

Pin smiled, "You're welcome Thread. Merry Christmas to you too."

As each member of the team finished up their breakfast and made their way to the christmas tree. To keep things organized, everyone started organizing their gifts into piles, keeping note of any shared presents anyone had as well.

Once everyone was ready, the Christmas free for all began. The kids demolished the wrapping paper on each of their gifts, eager to find out what was in each one.

"Mommy!" Bladey shouted, "Look! Xanta got me the building blocks I always wanted!"

"Really?" Saw knelt down, pretending to act surprised, "That is so cool, sweetie!"

Meanwhile, Needle had her phone out, as her, Coiny, and Pin watched Dimey as he attempted to open up his very first christmas present.

"It's too cute watching him do this!" Pin said.

Eventually, his little baby hands managed to rip off part of the wrapping paper, and, with Coiny's help, managed to uncover a little baby set of plastic plates.
