The next day, all the kids and the adults skiing were gathered in the lobby. Pin was back in the room with Thread, planning out what activities they would do that day.

"I'm ready to try skiing, Mommy!" Sack said excitedly.

"Same here!" Barf Bag said, "I haven't skied since the honeymoon, hopefully I pick up quickly!"

Donut wrapped an arm around her, "I'm sure you will, Barfy. I'd say the rest of us picked it up pretty quickly."

"Can we go already?" Dimey said, jumping up and down. "Daddy said we might be able to get on the bigger lift!"

"Alrighty big Dimey, let's head out!" Coiny exclaimed.

The group trekked through the snow, making their way to the ski lift. Sack held tightly to Barf Bag's hand, his excitement growing as they got closer to the lift. Dimey, already full of energy, skipped ahead with Sprinkle, both boys eager to hit the slopes.

"You sure you're ready for this, Barf Bag?" Donut teased as they reached the base of the lift.

Barf Bag chuckled, nudging him playfully. "I'll manage, Donut. I've got good instincts. I think if I can handle the emergency room, I can handle anything." She winked, but there was a hint of nervousness behind her smile.

Sack looked up at his mom, sensing her hesitation. "Don't worry, Mommy! I'll go slow with you."

As they neared the ski lift, Donut gathered everyone together. "Alright gang, before we go up, just a quick reminder—take it easy on the slopes, okay? Especially you little speed demons," he said, giving Dimey and Sprinkle a pointed look, making everyone chuckle.

Dimey and Sprinkle exchanged mischievous grins, clearly not planning to slow down anytime soon. Barf Bag tightened her grip on Sack's hand, giving him a reassuring smile.

"I'll stick with Sack and Barf Bag for this first run," Donut said, adjusting his goggles. "We'll keep it simple and start on the magic carpet lift for now, we'll meet up with you guys once we're ready!"

The rest of the group nodded in agreement as they split off into two smaller groups.

"See you guys later!" Coiny called back, waving as they boarded the larger lift.

Donut and Barf Bag chuckled, watching them ascend the mountain.

Once Donut's group was securely on the magic carpet, Sack looked back at his parents, his face a mix of excitement and nerves. "It's going so slow!" he whined.

"That's the idea, little buddy," Donut replied, chuckling. "We don't want you speeding off before you know what you're doing."

After a short ride up the hill, they made it to the top of the beginner slope. Donut helped Sack steady himself on his skis while Barf Bag practiced moving in small turns.

"You ready, Sack?" Donut asked.

"Yeah!" Sack's enthusiasm was infectious as he pushed off slowly, gliding gently down the slope with Donut by his side.

"There you go, you're doing it Sack!" Donut said.

Sack, however, started to get nervous as he started picking up speed on the hill, "Dad! How do I stop!"

Donut tried to stick next to him, "Make your skis like a pizza buddy!"

Sack listened to him, and soon enough, he came to a complete stop. Sack smiled, excited to actually be skiing. "I did it, Daddy!"

Donut beamed with pride as Sack successfully came to a stop. "You sure did, champ! You're a natural."

Barf Bag, catching up to them, smiled at her son's enthusiasm. "Look at you go, Sack! Ready for another run?"
