"All done, Sprinkle!" Barf Bag said, wrapping him up in a towel. "Hope you enjoyed your bath!"
Sprinkle smiled. "I did, Mom! Thank you for making me the cleanest boy in the world!"
Barf Bag chuckled, glad that Sprinkle was so enthusiastic about bath time. "You are very welcome, dude." Sprinkle left the bathroom and went into his room to get ready for bedtime. "Now it's your brother's turn." Barf Bag thought to herself. Sack could sometimes be a pain to get into the bathtub, but Barf Bag knew that he could only protest bath time for so long.
"Donut!" Barf Bag shouted downstairs. "Go get Sack for me, it's time for his bath."
Donut sighed, knowing what was about to come next. "Okay Barfy, I'll go get him." Donut went and found sack Sack, who was playing with some toys.
Donut crouched down next to Sack, who was busy building a tower of blocks with intense focus. "Hey, buddy," Donut said gently, "it's bath time now." "Alright Sack," Donut said. "Mommy has the tub all set up! It's time for a bath."
Sack, sitting on the floor of the living room with a tower of blocks in front of him, scrunched up his face. "Noooooo, Daddy! I don't want a bath!" he protested, his little hands clutching his favorite block tightly."
"Buddy, this isn't a choice." Donut stated. "You don't want to be a smelly little boy forever!"
"Yes I do," Sack said. "I love being a smelly little boy!"
Donut chuckled, shaking his head. "Well, I love you, but I don't love the smell," he teased, walking over to where Sack sat, cross-legged and determined, on the floor. "Besides, if you stay stinky, all your toys might start to smell too! What if your blocks got all smelly?"
"The blocks like being smelly!" Sack insisted. He then took one of the blocks and started rubbing it under his armpit. "See?"
Donut facepalmed, trying to stay serious, although it was hard to take the little four year old seriously. "I'm gonna carry you upstairs if you don't listen."
Immediately, Sack got up from the floor, and made a run for it. "You have to catch me first!" Sack chuckled as he ran as fast as his little legs could take him.
Donut sighed, watching Sack bolt across the living room, laughing mischievously. "Oh, you think you're fast, huh?" he called after him, already rising to his feet.
Donut ran as fast as he could to keep up with him, but that little man was fast. Donut was losing his breath much faster than he'd like to admit, struggling to catch him.
Eventually, Sack made his way to the kitchen, where the rest of the adults were helping clean up dinner. "You can't catch me dad!" He cheered, catching the attention of the rest of the adults.
The adults soon saw Donut trying his best to keep up with him, clearly getting tired. "We have a runner everyone!"
Needle smirked as she looked at Sack knocking the wind out of Donut. "A runner? Well, let's see how fast he can really run!"
Thanks, Needle. Donut thought to himself, too out of breath to say anything to her in the moment.
Needle quickly joined the chase, running as fast as she could to keep up with the little kid. Even she had to admit, that kid was fast, but she knew that even her own Dimey eventually gave in after enough running around.
Sack eventually ran under the kitchen table, blowing a raspberry to Donut and Needle, knowing that they couldn't fit under the table.
Donut shook his head. "So you think you're so smart, huh?"
