The day of Barf Bag and Donuts retreat finally arrived, and the two of them couldn't be more excited for the time to themselves. As much as they loved the team and the kids, they knew they needed some time away from them, and to focus on themselves.

The two of them packed up all their stuff, said goodbye to the group, and soon enough were on their way. The two of them slimed at each other as they hit the open road, excited for their little retreat.

"I'm so excited, Donut! Barf Bag squealed, as her husband drove the car. "It's going to be so nice to have some time just for us."

Donut grinned, reaching over to squeeze her hand. "I know, right? It feels like it's been ages since we've had any alone time. We really needed this."

The drive to the bed and breakfast was scenic and peaceful. They chatted about everything and nothing, enjoying the uninterrupted conversation. As they approached their destination, the landscape became even more beautiful, with tall trees and rolling hills surrounding them.

After around an hour of driving, the two of them finally made it to their destination. The place was just as, if not, more beautiful than the pictures online, and the landscape that surrounded it only added to the place.

Donut parked the car, and the two of them opened the door to their retreat. If the outside of the place wasn't good enough, the inside was even better with more than enough room for the two of them to spend some time together.

"I love this place already," Donut noted, as he put his bag down to marvel at the beauty of the house.

"Tell me about it," Barf Bag added, "We really did get lucky with such a thoughtful bunch!"

After the two of them settled into the place, unpacking their bags and exploring every nook and cranny the house had to offer, the two of them instantly wanted to spend some time outdoors.

"I think I'm ready to do that hiking trail they were talking about," Barf Bag said.

Donut nodded in agreement, "That sounds lovely! Let's get ready and go!"

They grabbed their backpacks, filled them with some water and snacks, and set off on the trail. The path wound through a dense forest, the trees towering above them. The air was fresh and cool, filled with the sounds of birds and rustling leaves.

As they walked, Barf Bag and Donut felt the stress of the past few months melt away. They talked about anything and everything they had on their minds, and simply enjoyed each other's company.

"This is exactly what we needed," Donut said, squeezing Barf Bag's hand. "Just some time to ourselves, away from everything."

Barf Bag nodded, her eyes sparkling with contentment. "It's perfect. I feel like we can finally breathe again."

As they continued the hike, taking many breaks, eventually, they made it to the end of the trail, where they were greeted by an amazing view of the surrounding area.

"Look, Donut!" Barf Bag pointed out, "I can see the house from up here!"

Donut looked to where Barf Bag was pointing, and eventually saw what she saw, "yup, there it is! That's so cool!"

Little by little, they made their way back down the trail, as the sun was starting to set and night time was near.

By the time they reached the bottom of the trail, the sky was painted in hues of orange and pink, with the last light of the day fading away. The temperature had dropped slightly, making the walk back to the bed and breakfast cool and refreshing.
