"Boys!" Barf Bag projected across the house, trying to get the attention of Sprinkle and Sack. "We're going now, come on!"
Sprinkle came running down the stairs, eager to get out of the house. "Where are we going, Mommy?"
Barf Bag smiled, "We're going to the dentist to get you and Sacks's teeth checked out."
Sprinkle was excited. "I'm going to have the cleanest teeth ever!"
Barf Bag chuckled, appreciating Sprinkle's enthusiasm. "That's the spirit! Head out to the car, Dad is already waiting for us."
Sack, however, wasn't as thrilled as he sluggishly joined them by the door. "Do we have to go to the dentist?" he whined, crossing his arms.
Barf Bag knelt down to his level. "Yes sweetheart, it's important that we make sure your teeth are nice and healthy."
"But my teeth feel fine!" Sack exclaimed, smiling real big so Barf Bag could see his teeth. "See?"
"I'm sure they do, Sack." Barf Bag said calmly. "But it's still important to get them checked out anyways, in case there's anything hiding we can't see. Sometimes, things like little cavities don't hurt right away, but if we catch them early, it's a lot easier to take care of them!"
Sack's smile wavered, but he gave a small nod. "Fine, but only if I don't have to do anything scary."
Barf Bag patted Sack on the head. "I promise that the dentist is not trying to hurt you. Now let's go, we don't want to keep Sprinkle and Dad waiting out there for much longer!"

Once they arrived at the dentist, Sprinkle jumped out of the car first, practically bouncing with excitement as he took in the bright, colorful waiting room filled with toys and fish tanks. Sack, meanwhile, stayed close to Barf Bag, eyeing the dentist office warily.
Inside, the receptionist greeted them warmly. "Welcome, Sprinkle and Sack! We'll get you all set for your check-ups."
Sprinkle grinned. "I'm going to have the cleanest teeth here!"
After waiting for a little while, the hygienist came over and took each of the boys over to the examination room.
Sprinkle jumped right into the patent chair, excited to show off his clean teeth. "I'm ready!" He said to the hygienist.
Sack was the polar opposite. "I'm not."
Barf Bag squeezed Sack's hand, trying to make him more comfortable. "I'm not going anywhere, I can hold your hand the whole time.
The hygienist gave Sack a kind smile. "Don't worry, Sack. We're just going to take a quick look. You can even watch your brother go first if you want!"
Sack nodded cautiously, clutching Barf Bag's hand as he watched Sprinkle open his mouth wide for the hygienist. Sprinkle barely flinched, and he even giggled a few times when the hygienist tickled his teeth with the special cleaning tool. "That tickles!" he laughed.
"See, Sack? It's not so bad," Barf Bag said reassuringly.
Taking a deep breath, Sack finally leaned back in his chair, still holding tight to Barf Bag's hand. The hygienist carefully checked each of his teeth, talking him through every step.
"You are doing so well little man!" The hygienist said to him. Sack managed a small smile as the hygienist gently continued her examination. "You're almost done, Sack!" she encouraged. "Just a few more teeth to check."
However, once the hygienist got to those last few teeth, Barf Bag noticed she was taking a while to examine them.
"Is everything okay?" Barf Bag whispered,
