Today was the day Saw had been dreading for many weeks: it was the day of parent-teacher conferences. Usually, Saw loved talking to the parents of her students about how much of a joy they are to teach. While the students were still as much of a joy as always, there was one particular set of parents that she had been dreading talking to, those being none other then Pencil and Match.

Saw was in the teachers lounge with Gaty, still stressing out over the inevitable parent teacher conference.

"What am I going to tell them, Gaty?" Saw panicked. "They know I live with them! The conversation about...you know what is going to come up and I don't know how to deal with it."

Gaty tried to get Saw to calm down, "Take a deep breath, it's going to be okay. You've done about a hundred of these before, it's all gonna be fine!"

Saw rolled her eyes, her expression shifting to an angry one, "No it's not going to be fine!" Saw started pacing around the lounge, "I'm going to get flamed by them for setting the two girls up and 'supporting Coiny's behavior'."

Gaty tried to shift Saw's perspective, "Well...what if you just...don't bring it up? They could just not care."

Saw gave Gaty a blank stare, "They will, Gaty, and there's no point in trying to get me to deny it!"

Gaty ultimately agreed with Saw, "Okay, you're right. They will most certainly bring it up. But...I have one thing you can try if they ever bring it up. I didn't want it to come to this, but I'm feeling like we have no other options. And if it does work, who knows? Maybe they'll let Flare and Thread hang out again."

Saw's eyes popped open in excitement, "Well, tell me Gaty, what's your secret plan?"

Gaty whispered the secret plan into Saw's ear. Saw nodded along at it, thinking that it could be just the trick to get Match and Pencil to finally be on the same page as the rest of the family.

"You really think this is going to work!" Saw exclaimed.

Gaty nodded, "Only one way to find out..."

As the evening progressed, Saw had made her way through the rest of the parent teacher conferences she had that night, all of which went extremely well. Eventually, it came time for Pencil and Match, and Saw was starting to tremble. However, she remembered the plan that Gaty gave to her, put on a straight face, and opened the door to her classroom to let the two of them in.

"Good evening you two!" Saw acted like she had nothing to do with their whole situation with Pin, Coiny, and Needle. She walked Pencil and Match to her desk, "Here, have a seat."

The two of them sat down, bitter looks clearly spread on both of her faces.

Saw ignored that through, and continued on with the conference. "So...Flare is wonderful to have in class. She always jumps in to answer my questions, and she is even making some new friends!"

"When you mean, like, friends, you mean, like, the princess man's daughter?" Match snapped at Saw.

Saw nodded, a fake smile on her face, "You mean Thread? Those two are such great friends!"

"Oh stop with the bullshit,' Pencil stated, "Don't act like you don't know what's going on here, you litterally live with the princess man himself."

"Please don't call him that!" Saw took a deep breath, "But yes, Coiny, his wives, plus Thread live with me. I know better than anyone how amazing a kid Thread is! Yesterday, she even helped Bladey with her worksheet."
