It was a beautiful fall weekend. Needle was kicking around a soccer ball with Dimey, Coiny was with Thread drawing on the driveway with chalk, and Saw and Donut were watching their kids ride Bikes. Pin, Gaty, and Barf Bag were all inside, chatting about various different things.

Bladey, being a couple of years older than Sprinkle and Sack, had already let go of her training wheels. Sack was pretty content with having them on, at least for now. But Sprinkle, feeling extra brave that day, felt like he was ready to take the training wheels off.

"Dad, I think I'm ready." Sprinkle said to Donut. "I'm ready for no training wheels!"

Donut looked at Sprinkle in the eyes. He knew that Sprinkle could be a little bit of a daredevil, and sometimes pushed himself a little to hard, but was he really ready for this? "Are you sure buddy, no training wheels is a big deal!"

Sprinkle nodded. "Yes! I wanna be just like Bladey!" Sprinkle made Donut look at Bladey, who was confidently riding her bike, no training wheels in sight.

"Let him do it, Donut!" Saw said. "I think Bladey got off the training wheels when she was Sprinkle's age, I don't see why not!"

Donut was a little hesitant at first, but eventually gave in. "Alright Sprinkle, bring me your bike to the garage and I'll take those training wheels off for you!"

Sprinkle's eyes lit up with excitement as he eagerly rolled his bike toward the garage. Donut followed behind him, still feeling a little nervous, but determined to support Sprinkle's growing confidence.

Once inside the garage, Donut grabbed a wrench and began loosening the bolts on Sprinkle's training wheels. As he worked, Sprinkle bounced on his heels, unable to contain his enthusiasm. "I'm gonna be just like Bladey! She's so fast on her bike. I can't wait to go that fast too!"

Donut chuckled, glancing up at his son. "Just remember, we're going to start slow at first; letting go of training wheels can be tricky!"

Sprinkle rolled his eyes, a giant smile forming on his face. "Okay dad, I get it."

Once Donut finished removing the training wheels, he stood up, patting Sprinkle on the shoulder. "Alright, champ. Let's get you back outside and give it a try."

Sprinkle eagerly grabbed his bike and pushed it toward the driveway, his heart racing with anticipation. As they approached the others, Bladey looked over and grinned. "You're really doing it, huh? No more training wheels?"

Sprinkle nodded proudly. "Yep! I'm ready to be just as fast as you, Bladey!"

Sack looked at his brother, feeling a little nervous for him, "I think I'll stick with the training wheels for now." he said.

Sprinkle glanced at Sack with a playful grin. "Suit yourself, I'm not letting anything hold me back!"

Sprinkle hopped onto his bike, brimming with confidence. Donut stood behind him, holding onto the seat as Sprinkle steadied himself. "Okay, remember, start slow, keep your eyes forward, and don't panic if you wobble," Donut reminded him gently.

Sprinkle nodded eagerly, gripping the handlebars tightly. "I got this, Dad! Let go!"

With a deep breath, Donut slowly released his grip, jogging alongside his son as Sprinkle pedaled forward. At first, the bike wobbled, and Sprinkle's face scrunched up in concentration, but then he found his balance, and the bike straightened out.

"I'm doing it! I'm really doing it!" Sprinkle yelled, his voice filled with excitement. His feet pumped faster, and his confidence soared as he made his way down the driveway.

Saw and Bladey cheered from the sidelines. "Go, Sprinkle!" Bladey called out, beaming with pride.

Sack watched wide-eyed, holding onto his bike with the training wheels still securely attached. "Wow... he's really doing it..." he murmured.
