          " Not even a dozen bitches made it back from that Nationals flight, yet somehow you still managed to marry the craziest fucking one. " Alex stated in genuine awe, staring at Jeff with an impressed face as he shrugged and took a drink from his beer bottle; Alex was generous enough to provide refreshments after hearing about the entire Lifetime movie that had been happening with the Sadeckis.

         Shauna was in a car accident, a minor fender bender really, and decided to start an affair with the artist who she hit. Jeff sent the postcards out to the living Yellowjackets, at least those he could find an address for, to blackmail them for cash; he wouldn't tell what the cash was for past it being a loan he needed to pay back. Alex thought it was an extreme way to keep his credit score decent, but she wasn't in the market for judging motives and actions.

         Then, after Taissa, Natalie, and Misty involved Shauna in their blackmail crisis, Shauna grew paranoid and believed her secret lover to be the blackmailer and killed him.

        Naturally.

        That made sense with what Misty had said about Natalie needing her to clean up a mess of the blackmailer, but it still sounded insane, so she really had no choice but to dig out a few bottles from the mini fridge in the office of the tattoo shop.

        " I, uh, have one more thing to confess, too. " Jeff admitted, sitting his bottle down on the counter and clasping his hands together as he looked over at Alex; she awaited his next line with raised brows, wondering what else there could even be, " All those years ago, when you told me what really happened with Jackie..I read Shauna's journals. "

         Alex watched him, letting that sink in for a minute before she exhaled and sat up, rubbing her hands against her legs, " Damn it, she has everything in those things, doesn't she? "

        Clicking his tongue, Jeff confirmed, " Yeah. "

        Everything. Sure, Alex might've told him that they ate Jackie, but she didn't have any plans on telling even him all that had happened out there. She knew she should've burned those journals when she had the chance.

        After a beat of silence, Alex asked, " Well, does that make you view me any differently? Knowing all that stuff? "

        " If I did, I wouldn't be here. " Jeff said, shaking his head; she guessed that made sense too, would he have been married to Shauna still if he did?

       " Ah, shit, " The blond man pulled his phone out after it pinged in his pocket, grimacing as he suddenly stood up, " the 25 year reunion is tonight, I almost forgot. "

       " You guys are going to that thing? " Mostly, she couldn't imagine Shauna wanting to do that, but if she'd just killed a man and covered it up, maybe she was trying to save face. Alex also stood, taking the last drink from her bottle before she went to take his to the trash.

      " You aren't? " Jeff knew it was a silly question to ask without seeing Alex's face, so he just chuckled it off as he headed towards the door, " Well, what are you gonna do, then? "
