After a few days things start to feel at ease again between all odds. No bottle up anger or anything. We started to actually fall back into things. Malcolm and I agree to focus on what we have now with our mate.

In the time of good admen's. Luna Belle has step up one of her dinner parties. These were made in specific groups to join and get along.
Alphas,betas,and gammas of all packs they knew join with their mates and family. In new coming Elizabeth has ask if Connie and Milow can join. Their role at Black Harvest has meet the ranks. But as they are not wolves it was up to Alpha Stan and Luna Belle if they feel comfortable with them.
"Of course she said yes because Elizabeth has a soft spot on everyone." That I agree with.
As always we left in good time. Everything was nice and cheery going. Nothing felt out of the ordinary at all.
We all have made our ways around. Meeting new people and catching up with old friends.
I adore the way Elizabeth has collide into the environment. She has ways among anyone. Even if they question her in first sight. She quickly wins them over.
Taking a breather everyone has split. It was almost like cliques. Groups mix and speard all around. The children join indoors over the heat and a few parents has taken advantage of the care they give.
I take a quick glance over my mate. Seeing her fanning herself. So I take it up to myself to go indoor and fetch her a cold drink.
We quickly scavenge around and find a nice pink drink our mate will enjoy.
As our head pulls out the fridge. Someone closes the door for us. And I can not say this enough. But a psycho stalker bitch don't know how to leave a man alone.
"So I see ITs here." She hiss at me.
"Fuck off." I go to grab a glass so I can pour some ice in Elizabeth's drink.
She leans over to try to grab my attention. "Come on baby. When you gonna notice this bitch over there is poor labor and see we can be a real thing."
"We never had a thing Bri."
"But we can." Bri goes to stroke my arms and nudge for her to move. "Come on, I'm better than her. She just some monster. And i'm just like you. She wouldn't and never would get that."
I snap and turn to face the whore. "Yet you can't seem to understand the line of role between my mate and I."
She gasp in feral of my tone. "Go infect some mutt with your craps. And leave me alone." I turn back to my drink and begin to grab some ice. Again Bri doesn't give up. She stays put.
"Even if you try she'll leave and think a vampire is better. I heard she more blood sucking than magic casting." She giggle as she tries to sip the pink drink.
I yank it away from her. "You know your bitchy mouth does more than suck every guys cock over the coast. So I know its you spearding the rumors."
Its a matter of time before Elizabeth hears them herself. And knowing its from Bri. Elizabeth may not hold her tongue.
She presses her small tits over me. Thinking I'll fall. "And if I don't.."
Trying to run her claws down me I fling it back and she cries pain. "Knock it off! I'm not telling you again!"
Her eyes widen in fear. And and scowls to me. "Its a matter of time her facade starts crumbling down. You be wise to let her fall alone."
Seeing her determine threat. I pull her in and have my claws dig in her. I say nothing as the silence speaks loud. I let go as I shove her over. I grab Elizabeth's drink and as I leave she yells. "You'll reject your choice!"
I roll my eyes as I step out the house and make my way to my Elizabeth. She smiles cheery to me. She kisses my check as I hand her the drink.
I take just a small glance up. Bri's bitchy figure pops in sight. She was right center of where I was. She stares back in a jealousy eye.
Cupping my other cheek Elizabeth looks at me a bit clay. And brings my eyes to her. "You okay? You seem bothered?"
"No no. Just took longer to make your drink thats all." I take her hand and kiss it.
She thanks me and I part my way. I go to rejoin some old classmates. It been a long time since I seen them. And a lot has change since high school.
In quick sight I see Bri trying to make her way to Eizabeth.
"She gonna start something."I watch carefully.
She doesn't go straight to Elizabeth but talks to a group of women near. I see she was trying to grab her attention. And Elizabeth makes a sharp eye. Bri laugh and turn to say a smirky comment. Elizabeth chuckles and hits back. Evryone laugh and I see it pissed off Bri. Quickly things fly when Bri gets closer and every moves away. Elizabeth is seen to not be borther but I can feel her rage building. I hear little insults and I know something about to happen.
"Her hands." My eyes falls to her hands. No one sees it but her fingers tips sparks a light yellow.
"You got to get her before.."
"I know the rules." No fighting of the kind on Alpha Stan's ground.
Bri gets in Elizabeth's face and I go to make my way to her. In closer sight I can hear the bitterness in Bri's voice.
"Its just sickens me to think how wicked of you to bring such evil. You had to bring everyone down with you. You fucking creature!"
"Oh what! Not enough guys have fill your hole from your daddy issues Bri. Aren't you pregnant by now." Malcolm laugh to the quick snicker back.
I push through everyone and bend to grab Elizabeth. Throwing over my shoulder by holding her by her ass. She doesn't fight me but keeps her slurs going as Bri does.
"You'll see what life is with a real dad." Bri yelled.
"As far as you know. Mother just like daughter!" Elizabeth yelled back. They continue and I drop Elizabeth down just enough distance. Still Bri ranting is heard.
In a fast motion I stop Elizabeth from commenting back another insult to Bri. For the sake of the evening. I press my lips onto hers and bring her in closer than ever. Her toes lifted. A slight curl to my tip itch as I feel her breaking down from my feast of taste to her perfect lips.
A pop is heard when I pull away and her eyes flutter open. Her lips still parted for quick air intake. I wipe a small drool on the edge of her lip."Baby don't interact with her. She want to see you upset."
"What you trying to save your ex?" She spat.
I try not to yell at that. Even though I wanted to. "A hand job doesn't state a thing."
Elizabeth furrows as she tries to look over me. I hide her view and lift her gaze to me only. "Remember you are better than anyone here. Every single person is jealous, she isn't special. So if you really want to piss her off. Just ignore her. Like I do."
Again she frown her brow and I see her rattling in her head. I poke her nose and her weak spot giggles. "Your father is right. You are a wise witch. Strong and wise baby."
Right away she smiles. I bend down to kiss her. Telling her one more advice. "You are so beyond any of us. Even an alpha like us couldn't deny you."
Elizabeth is back to a prefect green set of eyes. A smile thats brighter than the moon at night. And we fall back to our parter.
Its crazy you know. Everyone thinks between me and Elizabeth that i'm the agressive dog. Wrong. Elizabeth has shown she has just the same temper if not worse. I love seeing her frown her brow that curves. And when she really mad her eyes change a type of red.
Things went good. Almost felt a bit odd. I been so used to things going wrong these last few weeks.
And fuck I was right. A loud sets of screams bursted through the air. Cannons of fog covered a large view of the crowd. The crowd scatter and you couldn't tell what was happening.
"Wheres Elizabeth! I can't see her?"
Wolves all around as people ran. I see a few jump shifting and I couldn't understand why a fight started happening. But I ran in a quick motive and fight my way through to get to where I last saw Elizbaeth.
"Beta! Beta! Find Elizabeth!" I mind Link Mason but he didn't replied.
As I shove my way through I was pull away and thrown over some items. In quick sight I burted my vision to see a large blonde wolf stand before me.
"Bastard!" It was Baker. He was one of the only alpha wolf to have blonde fur.
"Let me deal with him."
"Nah. I don't need to shift to fight this asshole."
I get up to my feet. Bakers wolf snarl out air as he see I am not shifting. He takes a step and shifted back to his humans form.
"Fine. Be a men to your dying day." He chuckles.
I arch my back to take a tall stands. Going in Baker makes the first move. It isn't much when we had train before so I knew must of his moves. We fight in a hand to hands combat. And his eyes glow to use his wolfs stregth.
I get a good hit to his face and he kicks my side. I lost small gasp of air while Baker loses his footing which give me a opening to put him on his ass. Setting up again I swing my body out to reach towards him. He wraps his arms over me to choke me out. But he forget I was larger and can flip him over.
Baker makes another move to come after me but I roll and jump up. I try again to call for help. Gamma says she was stuck with the kids. When I hang up I get a claw full of Baker. He groan and we fight until a large wolf jumps to me and knocks down. Distracted another wolf jumps to keep me there. I get another hit and my vision blurs as I get attack back to back.
Elizabeth!!
I gasp in short breaths when the hits stop coming. I get up and Bakers grin at first sight. "Enough fooling around. I don't plan to kill you. She wanted you alive."
"Who? You traitor!" I shouted and when I go to stand two men came behind me to hold me back. One press on my wound and the other claws deep in my skin. I growl through the pain.
"We all have lovers. And she was tired of waiting for you to give up yours. But a great deal came up for us. We took it right away."
"Fuck you!" I spit at him.
Baker smiles as he turns around to see a large group forming. I try to look and I had a deep pit forming.
When I make my eyes back to Baker he had a small but thick black dagger in his hand. He plays with the tip to show its sharpness. "Its beautiful isn't it. She said it would hold even the strongest alpha."
I laugh in his face. He frowns grin and walks to me. Telling his men to tighten their grip. "You don't get to laugh."
I make a annoy look to him. And I try again to look over but a sharp pain comes up to my chest when Baker stabs the dagger into me. It burns and intensify in ever breath I take.
"What? Its not funny." He jokes as he instructed his men to let go. I fall to my knees. "Every move and breath you take the more the knife works." Right away I knew Baker had some witch to summon this dragger.
He yanks up so it pierces deeper into my core more. I taste my flesh burning.
"Now watch as we bring balance back to our kind." He yanks the dragger out and I feel him walk behind me. Again I feel the painful agony hit from behind me now. I had no time to take in relief. I try to fight but the burning got worse. "I told you, you were better off without the devil but you never listen."
"So what." I struggle to say. "You have your lover." Coughing. "Kill my mate. I'll kill you both." I knew it wasn't June. I didn't see her here.
Baker kicks the dragger in more and I fall over. Several pain throughout my body engulfs inside. "Fuck sakes you talk too much! Now just watch!"
He yells for his men to yank me up. My breath heavens. Baker drops downs to my view. I grind my teeth at him. With no words he tells me to watch forward.
Over the choas. I see a glimpse of a woman in humans form fighting. Her screams breaks the air. I narrow vision to see a wolf and it his curl brash tells me its Bri. In another sight the woman's face comes clear.
My eyes wides and I grunt to scream. "Won't be long for her death pal." He laugh and pats my wounded shoulder.
"No no no!!"
I go to mind link Mason again. Screaming for him to help Elizabeth. "I'm coming. Some wolves block the bathroom exist."
"I don't care! Get her before they kill her!"I closed the link to watch over my mate who fights for her life.
"She still gonna die slow. Just like she planned."
I can't sense her pain but I see it. They claw at her and with every hit she gave they hit harder. There was too many for her. But she doesn't give up. Over that I see them choping after they miss. Meaning the worse. No one helps. Elizabeth had all the women trap over a bubble. Protecting them.
Elizabeth being her she gave them a chance to live but risk her own life. A crowd of wolves cicles my mate and I see Mason nowhere yet. In seconds the view of her is lost and I groan as I beg to keep her life still connect to mine.
"Wait no!! Damn it! Go help that bitch die!" I look back up and thank goddess I see Mason slam into the crowd. Baker piss. He orders more to head to my mate's death.
"Time to get up." I agree and Malcolm uses every strength we had despite the burning pain we felt. We arch our back and scream as my body changes form and the dragger pushes out. I stretch far to yank it out my back.
"Aaahhhhh!!" I scream and flip the dragger to my hand.
I look right up when I stood to my feet. Baker yells for his men to fight and in such agony Maloclm switches the blaze over each wolves throat. Stabbing ones heart. In an instant death the other goes off in fear.
I make a turn to see Baker's fear. I gruff in a evil way as I lock on him. Baker ran and I make one back pull of my arm and throw the dragger towards him. The dagger arms just behind his skull. He falls and Macolm shift towards his body. Pinning him down we stomp to make sure he is died. The beautiful sound of his skull breaking under my paw was heaven.
"Malcolm! Elizabeth!!" I shouted.
Malcolm races through to get to the wolves. I fight off the last few wolves with Mason. The others run but don't get far. I make sure Bri's wolf didn't have a fighting chance. I pin her dowm and snarl feral at her. Her stupidty has her wolf flaring her lashes at me in plead.
"Should we kill her alpha?" Mason ask.
"Don't kill her! Take her to the under shelters. Let her father make that choice." Luna Belle shouted as the bubble had pop.
I nod and stare down as my mate lays there heardly breathing. My chest cage in.
"Everyone has been inform. Help him take luna to the hospital! Their waiting!" Luna Belle yelled. Mason help lift Elizabeth over Malcolms fur. And we head start to the hospital.

Again we beg for goddess to not take her.

Time turns gray as I wait for Elizbaeth to awake. The attack ended the time we fight to get Elizabeth. Every traitor was capture and sent to the holding place for trail or worse.
The doctor ran his test and inform her condition. It was bad. I couldn't be too shock when things showed up that he had no answer too. To Baker dragger surprise I figure he worked with a witch.
"Thank goddess Connie was here." I agree as she calls the packs hospital for transport.
The machines runs and in hours her beautiful lashes moves and her lips allows a groan to come.
I quickly get to her side. Helping her sit upright. "What happen? Is everyone okay? The luna's? Oh goddess Travis? Your hurt. What.." her eyes drifted down to my large bandage around my upper torso.
"Sshe now. Shh." I coo her down. I explain it all. I tell her alpha Baker's plan. And how he let out Bri alliance with him for it. They cause all this aside a witch.
In a seconds the doctor pops in. Happy to see Elizabeth awake. He runs a quick exam and sees all is clear. Well as much as he knows. We are still at Alpha Stan's pack and the doctors here have no clue of witches care or vampires.
"I ran what test I can. All clear." He nods. "We did see a bit destress in you. Very high frequent I didn't understand. But lucky your friend Connie who a nurse help. There was some witchy thing going on and she has inform us the fix. Sadly we don't have the dose here. So you'll need to take it once home. Along with another test with your pack's doctor." He informs us her wounds. And how severe they look. And they do look quite ugly.
A hard ranching hits and I blame myself for not fighting harder.
We thank the doctor and wait for him to give us the discharge papers. As soon as he leaves. Elizabeth glances over my shoulders. Through the see through glass door. You can see Mason dumbass standing guard.
"Hes not hurt if thats what your think." I tell her as her face washes over in relief.
"But your mad at him. Why?" She ask.
I explain how Mason was occupied and took his sweet fucking time to spring into action. I called and called and finally when I saw him helping. He was too late to get to her.
"Thats not his fault. I left myself open while I protect the luna's." Stupid sacrifice.
"Your sacrifice saved them. You fought I know but mason.."
"It was too many. It wouldn't.."
"He was off getting his dick suck while a group of wolves attacked you. You are literally cover in bites. You can be dying as we speak!" I shouted.
She huffed and I huffed my chest right back. "Beta's job isn't to be his luna's protector. Nor is it to be a friend. He tried."
My body tick at her easy defense of Mason. "I love and hate your .."I grunt to myself to the word. She doesn't say anything in respond bur traps me in her eyes. "I love how courageous you are in any aspect. You are braver than any wolf I've known. But." I say a bit rags. "I hate how you willing give yourself up for death for any living thing. We could of lost you. Forever."
In a small crash. I felt her eyes dim. My heart pitter paddle. And I can hear hers doing the same. Her lips part to say reflection but annoyingly the door swings open and we are disturbed by guest.
"Ah i'm so sorry I should of done something. I try asking Kan but.." Sarah rans in and apologies to her luna.
"No no. You staying off the war field was best." She tells gamma. She turns to look at Kan who holds a sad glance.
Elizabeth takes gamma's hand to sooth her while also talking directly to Kan."I would never forgive myself if you never get a chance to meet your baby. My life isn't over your child. Understand I can take care of myself. And I did."
"I'm your gamma. I had a .."
"No. You did perfect. Protect your family first gamma." You see gamma emotions balling. And she couldn't contain herself.
"Ah god damn these hormones." She tries to suck up a tear but fails."I have to leave." Kan follows his pregnant mate.
I watch as she balls in tears out the door. Kan tries to sooth her down but I see she just yells at him and takes off.
I turn and see Connie fidgets with Elizabeth face. She holds a breath. Elizabeth parts her lips before Connie can.
"I don't want you to start with the whole I could of crap." She hold a strict face. "I heard of what you did. And you did an amazing job. Staying with gamma and protecting the youngs was well care. Thank goddess for you. You and everyone involved did an amazing job. Thank you."
Connie nods and hugs Elizabeth who grunts to the pain. I flinch and make it to her side. She tries to hide it off but I feel her pain as if its mine.
"Rose was braver than I was at her age. She got ontop of a table and started distracting the kids. They have no clue we were under attack." Connie told us as her mate Milow places his hands over her shoulders. And Connie looks up to him proudly.
"It was game her mother and I played as kids. We grew up hiding and staying quite during attacks and such. Rose only had to do it twice her life. She only remembers the last." I see Millow swallow a painful guilt. Connie grabs his hand to soothe his memory of his death sister.
After a small chat together. Elizabeth and I were finally alone. She grazes my hand and I immediately squeeze her tightly. It felt like it be my last.
"Don't you go blaming yourself either okay." I say nothing as I take a seat next to her. I drop my head pins to her chest.
She holds me tight. Combing my hair like I was a child again. I didn't care how bad my body was in fire from my wound. I did blame myself. I could of done more.
"We keep messing up. We're trying to do better by you. And yet you almost died." We felt like more than utter failures. My heart drips down in a shattered glass at the idea of never holding her again. All because we won't able to save her in time. Just like we were in that dark pit for weeks.
Her hands run through my hair. Twirling some of my loose pieces. "I'm here. I'm not dying."
I look up and search my eyes over her body that sparks colors. She shake her head. "Your wound looks worse. Your skin is still on fire."
I lift my arms slightly. And shurg it off. "Its whatever. Baker got a lucky shot." She laugh to my joke. But quickly her lips curl down and touchs my wound. I flinch and she bends down to kiss evey inch.
This time I did feel like child again. Her kisses made it less painful.
"I was scared Elizabeth. We were scared." She knew right away what I meant. And my heart race to the thought.

Please don't let that day come.

"I have faced death way too many times and still here I am." Her words did not help. I make no exchange to her.
Her hands drops to my mines and I instantly grips hers as if i'll lose balance on this realm she created.
"Listen and listen good." She started. "Even if death one day choices to succeed. I will always find a way back to you. I'll crawl out of hell to spend more time with my alpha."
I nod as any word is trap inside. I couldn't lost the derailing emotions inside of me. I wasn't use to being this man. I never crave in my deaft. I never felt scared or fear to lost anyone. I don't fall easily. But with her. With Elizabeth it was hard not to.
She understood me more than anyone. She accept me in all ways. Even the new me. She smiles proudly and encourages me along.

I throw a cauldron to the wall as I get news of the fail mission.
"Ugh! I knew they were gonna fuck up!"
I yank my hair at the painfully frustration each wolf has cost me.
"I said to tame her not temp murder." It was my job to kill her. Those traitor wolves played me. And for that alpha, ugh he got himself killed.
"Ha. That bitch Bri is damn dear died anyways."
I look out the dark distances as I thought out another plan. I had three wolves and each one was a waste of time. I wasn't in a rush but god damn they get too greed with their selfish needs.
"I'll wait for bit. And i'll get someone close to her." Not too closer. I can't risk suspicion. "Maybe another she can't question. Nor her mate. Or maybe I can get a witch this time."
I smile to the thought of having a witch on the inside. "I'll have too see how her pathetic life goes. Then I will chose another.
