Chapter 48 Decision
Under her comfort, You Ming gradually fell asleep.
How long will it take to slowly forget those dark pasts? Gu Yun patted his back with one hand and stared at his quiet sleeping face for a long time.
The next morning, when it was slightly light, Gu Yun woke up and found that she was still hugging You Ming tightly. Her arms were a little sore, and she moved, but You Ming immediately reached out and took her into his arms again. She was a little unsure whether he woke up or not, and looked at him quietly for a long time, but she didn't find any movement.
After lying down for a while, she carefully moved the hand around her waist and got out of bed and dressed quietly.
When You Ming woke up, he felt a headache. He rubbed his forehead with his hand. He vaguely remembered that he had a nightmare last night. He dreamed that Gu Yun disappeared and he couldn't find her anywhere. Then she suddenly appeared beside him again, hugging him. He was relieved when he smelled her unique fragrance. But at this moment, he was not sure whether that scene was a dream or reality.
When he came to his senses, he felt empty in his heart. He looked to his side and found that Gu Yun was not on the other side of the bed. The scene in the dream appeared before his eyes. In an instant, he was a little panicked. He quickly opened the quilt, ran out of the bedroom and shouted to the empty house: "Xiao Yun!"
Gu Yun was frying eggs. Today, You Ming was at work, and she got up early on purpose to make breakfast for him. She had just put the fried eggs into the plate when she heard You Ming calling her name upstairs in a slightly panicked voice.
She remembered how You Ming hugged her helplessly last night. She was afraid that something had happened to him again, so she quickly put down the plate and went to the living room.
She saw You Ming in pajamas, with messy hair and a little panic in his eyes. He stood at the entrance of the stairs, as if he was going to come down to find her.
Gu Yun quickly looked at him and said, "You Ming, I'm in the kitchen making breakfast."
Seeing Gu Yun standing at the door of the kitchen, You Ming's heart was relieved in an instant. He walked down the stairs and came to her.
Before Gu Yun could ask him what was wrong, he hugged her. When she was frying eggs just now, she was splattered with a lot of oil and was a little dirty, but thinking of his panicked look when he looked for her, Gu Yun's hand, which was ready to refuse, gradually placed on his waist. She said softly, "You Ming, I'm here."
You Ming just hugged her quietly, said "um", and didn't say anything. After a while, Gu Yun said, "Have breakfast. Don't you have to go to work today?"
He let her go, but he still looked at her while eating, as if Gu Yun would disappear in the blink of an eye. Gu Yun had no choice but to push him upstairs to change clothes and go to work, until she told him that she would bring him lunch at noon before leaving.
After You Ming left, Gu Yun sat on the sofa alone to think about things. After a long time, she made a decision. If this can give him a sense of security, it's fine.
After thinking it through, she picked up her wallet and went to the post office to call home.
The call was made to the village brigade headquarters. After receiving the call, the village chief enthusiastically called Liu Hehua. Who in the village doesn't want to have a good relationship with Gu Jianguo's family now? In the future, their family will surely be prosperous, and it will be great for them to benefit from it.
Liu Hehua was very happy when she heard the village chief say that Gu Yun called back. The girl had only been away for a few days, but she missed her family. At least she hadn't been kidnapped back. She answered the phone happily, but her smile disappeared after a few words.
