I gently opened my eyes, and looked up to see a guy with green hair that fading into brown staring at me. Beside him was a girl with black hair and bright blue eyes. I remembered Cassidy telling me to assassinate these guys, and I examined them for any weapons.

"Kaliska, hey! How are you feeling?" The guy asked, and then called out for someone named Colt. A black haired guy came running into the room, and the second he saw me, the guy bolted toward me, and grabbed my hands.

"I'm so glad you're awake." He smiled, and grabbed my face, kissing me on the lips. My eyes widened, and I punched the guy right in the chest.

"Colt, we should have know, she's still the same." The green haired guy growled, and pulled Colt beside him and the girl. I crawled of bed, and snarled at the three, transforming into my leopard form. The guy named Colt looked sad as he looked at me, and I growled at the guy, and leaped towards him. The green haired guy ran in front at the last second, and I tackled him to the ground, burying my claws deep into his chest.

"Spruce!" The black haired girl screamed, and Colt and her struggled to push me off the guy.

"You get Spruce to the healers, I'll stay here and deal with Kaliska." Colt growled, and the black haired girl looked shocked, but decided to obey him.

The black haired guy pulled out a bow, and loaded it. He stared at me with horror, as his arms began to shake. Colt dropped the weapon, and I took this as a chance to attack him. I bolted toward the guy still in my leopard form, and pinned him to the floor, rising my paw, ready to strike him.

"Kaliska please...don't do this...its me...Colt..." I snarled at the guy, and dug my other claw into his arm, listening to him cry out. I rose my paw again, and was just about to finish him off, when I stopped. Something deep inside me was telling me to stop. "Kaliska...?" Colt stared at me, and I dropped my paw, and got off the guy. I wobbled over to the wall, feeling weak, and transformed back into my normal form. Colt caught me before I could hit the ground, and he looked down at me, his face filled with worry. Memories of Colt, and everything that happened, including being beaten by Cassidy were starting to come back. In an instant, I remembered exactly who I was.

"Colt..." I whispered, and found my eyes closing shut.

---

"Are you awake?" I felt a squeezing on my hand, and I opened my eyes, and looked to see Colt sitting and staring at me.

"Hi." I smiled weakly at him, and looked at my body. I was dressed in a nightgown but it still didn't hide the many bruises and cuts that covered my body. Colt got up from his chair, and leaned forward, brushing the hair away from my face.

"Do you want anything?" He asked,

"Maybe just water." I nodded, and the guy brought the cup to my lips, and tipped it back. It only took two mouthfuls to get the water down, and I smiled and laid back down.

"Thank you." I said to him, and he looked at me, a faint blush across his face,

"Don't mention it." He chuckled, and I signalled for him to come closer. Colt walked over, and I looked up at him and grabbed his shirt, pulling his lips against mine. "What was that for?"

"For looking after me." I giggled, and looked at the blushing guy, "anyways, would you be able to bring me to the hot spring?" I asked, batting my eyelashes. Colt laughed,

"Sure, but please stop that, it's freaky me out."

"Fine." I rolled my eyes, and the guy helped me off the bed. He grabbed a towel, and passed it to me, and then the two of us walked to the stable, with Colt helping me.

"I can leave from here." I explained, as I mounted onto a horse.

"Like I'm letting you go alone. There is no way I'm letting Cassidy hurt you again."

"You're sweet. Alright." Colt rode up beside me on his horse, and the two of us rode off to the hot spring.

---

I undressed out of my nightgown, and sunk into the hot spring, letting it heal my wounds. It didn't actually healed then, but because it soothed the pain, it made it feel as if they healed. Colt sat a few feet away, his back turned to me as he stared up at the sky. I giggled to myself when I looked at the guy, and then I sunk farther into the hot water.

A few minutes later, I looked behind me to see that Colt was laying unconscious on the ground. Growling, I got out of the hot spring, and pulled a towel around my body.

"Hello, Princess." I heard a chuckle, and I looked to see a black haired guy emerge from the bushes. He was the same guy who said he was one of my mother's old friends.

"Nice to see you here." I yawned, examining my nails in boredom. The guy smirked,

"I see you have retrieved your memory."

"Yes." I nodded, and snuck my knife into my hand, hiding it under the towel so the guy couldn't see it.

"Cassidy wants you back." The guy walked over to me, grinning.

"Oh really?"

"Yes, and I will kill Colt if you don't obey her wishes." I moved the knife out from the towel, and stabbed the guy straight in the hip. He groaned, and fell to the ground, clutching his bleeding hip.

"Now," I stepped on his chest, and the guy yowled in pain, "tell Cassidy she's not going to win this game. And also tell her, I'm not cooperating any more." I smirked, and spun around on my heels, walking over to Colt. I picked the guy up and placed him on my horse, and tied Colt's horse to my horse. Then, I got on my horse, and put Colt's arms around my waist, and I galloped back to the human town, not even caring if the man died or not.

---

When I got back to the human kingdom, I put Colt in his bed, and kissed him on the forehead. After that, I borrowed some of his clothes, which were a bit too big for me, but I didn't care. I waved to the unconscious Colt when I left, and darted out the door, getting on my horse, and riding back to my kingdom.

I had a lot to discuss with my father when I got back.
