I went home, and collapsed on my bed. Honestly, I have to get in shape..
"How was training?" My father asked asked he opened the door. I looked over at him, and shrugged.
"Pretty good I guess. I just want to go to sleep now though." I said, and he got the hint, but frowned.
"Are you sure? You haven't had dinner yet.." He said, but I shook my head, and he walked out.
I closed my eyes in content, and sighed in relief as I felt my muscles relax.
Quickly, I fell asleep without even dreaming.
---
It was like the last dream. Silent. Deathly silent, but still carried a calm atmosphere. I shuddered, and looked around. I was weaponless, in the middle of the renegade's territory. Not. Good.
Suddenly, the same girl from the night before, stood before me. She had a wicked grin on her face, and she held a pretty rapier in her hands.
"Good bye, Princess..." She spat with venom, and lunged forward.
---
I bolted up right, and found everything disorienting for a short moment, before I found a man standing over me, holding a sword over their head.
Instincts kicked in lightning fast, and I rolled off the bed, and kicked the back of their knees and they fell forwards with a grunt.
"Mom! Dad!" I screamed, as I ran out of my room.
My parents rushed out of their rooms holding their weapons.
"Th-There was a man in my room." I stuttered as the aftershock started quickly. My father kicked the door open, and his sword glowed brigt enough to light up the entire room. Except.. There wasn't anyone found in the room. It was empty, and looked like no one had ever been there before.
I stopped in complete shock, and the lump in my throat got bigger.
"Wh- I swear he was in here!" I said in distress as I rushed in and checked around like looking under my bed, or in my closet. But everything was the same.
"Harmony.." My mother tried by weakly speaking my voice, but I shook my head and kept insisting that I did see a man in here!
Finally, my father rested a hand on my shoulder, and I stopped immediately.
"Harmony. Please stop.. Just go back to bed." He said as his sword was sheathed. I numbly nodded, and my parents left the room.
I fell to my knees, and tears went down my face. I hated feeling vulnerable, but right now I can't even out up a single defense. I was so open to being killed just then, and my parents don't even believe me!
I curled up into a fetal position, and stayed like that until my heart calmed down.
"I'm not crazy.."
I got up, and went to my closet to grab my own rapier from my selection. My rapier was my quickest and nimblest weapon, and right now I felt like I needed it.
I moved the blankets so I could climb in, but closed my hand over my mouth when I nearly shrieked.
Right where I was laying previously, there was a deep stab mark from a great sword. The same great sword I saw the man carrying.
I make extra precaution to lock the windows, and door, before I slipped into bed, holding my rapier with it still sheathed.
I closed my eyes, but the entire time I couldn't fall asleep.
"Good bye, Princess." The woman's voice echoed in my mind, and I shuddered. This was going to be a long night...
---
I watched the sun rise slowly, but I was in more of deep thought, than watching the sun. Why did Kaliska attack me the other day? Did she mean to try to kill me?
Why did that girl try to kill me in dream?
Where did that man come from?
And why did my heart beat so much when I was fighting against Spruce?! It was beating too hard that it wore me down quicker, and made me exhausted.
I rubbed my face with my fingers, and groaned quietly.
I got up, and decided it was late enough for me to be allowed to wake up.
I went to the kitchen, and begun to cook eggs.
"Harmony up and cooking breakfast?! Is it a full moon or something?" My father joked as he walked into the room, and my mom followed, yawning.
I gave a short annoyed glance, before I focused back on my breakfast, and took the eggs off the skillet, and onto a plate.
"Oh shush. We have a lot of extra eggs from the farmer, so we should use them all." I said, and sat down at the table and begun to eat.
My mother made breakfast for herself and father, and we all ate in silence.
"I'm going out." I said as I stood up and put my dishes in the sink.
"Remember, you have training later. Don't be late." My father warned, and I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah yeah." I grumbled, and walked to the stables. I decided that I wasn't going to go riding though. If there was danger in the woods, I don't want my horse killed.
I instead grabbed my rapier quickly from my room when I forgot it by climbing through the window.
When I went into the forest, I listened to the birds chirp, and watched a pair of squirrels fight over food.
I continued to walk through the forest, until I got hugry and climbed a tree and ate an apple I packed.
I looked up at the clear blue sky, and smiled. This wasn't a day where even a war could make it feel horrible.
