I watched Queen Aiyana, King Lucas, Colt and Spruce examine the injured Harmony from a distance. My hand pressed against the tree beside me, and I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I wish I could tell my mother, but I knew now wasn't the time. Would it ever be?

King Lucas picked up Harmony, and I finally got a glance of what had happened to her. I bared my teeth, my cat ears twitching angrily.

"I know what I have to do." I whispered, and bolted off into the forest.

I searched for hours, trying to find at least a trace that Cassidy had been here. Sighing in defeat, I collapsed down on the ground, and stared up at the cloudy sky.

"Looking for me?" I heard a loud giggle behind me, and I jumped to my feet, to see the blonde haired Cassidy sitting on a stump behind me, legs crossed.

"What did you do to my step-sister?" I demanded an answer, drawing a knife out of my pocket.

"Nothing too much. She's blind in her left eye." Cassidy shrugged, and I felt my anger growing.

"How dare you." I shrieked, and bolted at the woman, knife positioned to stab her. A tall bodyguard went in front of me at the last second, holding me back, "I'm going to kill you, Cassidy."

"My my, I'm not surprised you're like this. You defiantly got this from your mother." She giggled, but I saw a trace of hate when she said my 'mother'.

"Why do you hate her?"

"Who?

"My mother." Cassidy's gaze went cold, and she instructed her body guard to tie me to a tree. He listened to her, and I struggled as best I could as the man tied me. The blonde haired girl walked up to me,

"I wouldn't say that again, if I were you." She growled, stealing my knife.

"What did she do to you." I pressed on, and Cassidy spun on her heels, shoving the knife to my throat.

"Shut up."

"Go ahead and kill me then." I shrugged, and Cassidy stepped away, and examined her knife.

"You know, I wonder what you'd look like if I got rid of this pretty little face of yours." She smirked evily,

"What do you mean?" I asked, my voice starting to tremble,

"I wonder what Colt would think. Oh, would he even love you anymore?" I froze, and my eyes widened, as I struggled against the tree. Cassidy walked toward me, and brought a bottle out of her pocket. It was filled with teal liquid.

"Cassidy, wouldn't it be wise to keep her the way she is?"

"You may be right, Elliot. Alright, let's bring her back to the base." The man approached me, and he hit me on the head, knocking me unconscious.

When I was awake, the room I was in was not at all what I expected. It was a nice room with a fireplace, and a large closet full of clothes. The room smelled of vanilla. It seemed too peaceful though,

"Princess Kaliska, we want you to find the Prince Colt and Prince Spruce. Once you do, find a way to bring them here." One of Cassidy's body guards entered the room, and handed me a map,

"I'm not going to do that!" I pushed the map away,

"Yes you will. Because if you don't, everyone you love dies." The body guard snarled, and put the map back into my hands. I didn't want to do this, but I knew it had to. Harmony had already been injuried, and I didn't want to see that happen again. To her, or to anyone else.

"Fine, I'll do it." I growled, and went into the closet, trying to find something to wear. I decided on a simple dress with a corset, and left the room, finding out I had been in a small house. Looking up at the darkening sky, I took a deep breath, and started toward the human castle.

When I arrived, I was invited inside by the King, once I had told him I wanted to visit Colt. I walked up the staircase, and went toward Colt's door, knocking twice.

The door pulled open to reveal Colt, in only his boxers. My eyes instantly went to looking as his chest, and I realized he was more muscular than I would have thought.

"Oh hey Princess." He blushed, and invited me into his room. I walked straight to his bed, and sat down,

"What are you doing here so late?" He asked,

"Would you like to go for a walk with me?" I asked, giving him a flirting smile,

"I'd love to." He smiled,

"Great." I grabbed his hand, and the two of us left the castle. As we walked, I couldn't help glancing at the boy, and trying not to break down into tears. What was Cassidy planning to do to him?

"What's wrong?" Colt asked, instantly noticing my worry,

"Nothing, it's just a bit chilly, that's all."

"Want my cloak?" He suggested,

"Thank you." I giggled, and wrapped the cloak around me, secretly loving the smell of it. The cloak smelled exactly like Colt.

"No matter what, I won't let anything happen to you." I whispered quietly, so Colt wouldn't hear.
