I woke with a terrible throbbing headache, and the hot sun was beating down on me. Rising to my feet, I had no clue where I was, as I placed a hand on my aching head. All around me was the vast desert, and my mind was struggling hard to process it. It felt like only a minute ago, I was in my kingdom. Where the hell was I?

My foot sunk into the hot sand as I took a step forwards, and I groaned, feeling my body sweating head to toe. I was also dressed in the worst possible clothing. A tunic, and a pair of long pants. Thankfully though, I still had my sword at my side, and a small flask of water that I had brought with me when Harmony, Colt and I were in the woods.

I tried to recount what had happened to us, but it wasn't coming into my brain. Grabbing my water, I heaved down a huge mouthful, and then decided I should start walking. There was no way I was going to get lost in a desert, with no water, or shelter in sight.

It was pretty hard walking, as every step I took, my feet seemed to sink a little. The temperature seemed to be getting hotter as I walked, and it almost felt like it would burn me. I stopped for a moment to catch my breath, and I wiped a hand across my forehead, brushing away the sweat. Then, I took another sip of water, and pushed up the legs of my pants, so they were now the length of shorts.

The sun hadn't gone down in what felt like hours of walking. This was no doubt I good thing though, as I did not want to be stuck in the dark, and the freezing cold. Looking around me, I started to loose hope as there was still nothing in sight.

"Geez." I let out a sigh, and kept going, despite how thirsty, tired, and hot I was. I knew I had to keep going. There was no stopping till I found land.

Up ahead, I suddenly caught sight of a figure walking across a sand dune in the distance. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me at first, but I soon realized that it was in fact a person.

"Hey!" I shouted, waving my hands desperately in the air. The person hadn't noticed, and so I sprinted towards them, not caring if I was wasting all my energy. I caught up to the person, and finally got a glimpse of their appearance. It was a tall girl, and she had very long mocha brown hair, and her skin was quite tan. She had a baby blue bandeau like top, and a pair of baggy brown pants that reached her knees. It had a baby blue sash attached to it. Also, she had bandages around her arms, and brown boots.

I waved at the girl, and she glared immediately as soon as she saw me, and pulled what looked like a dagger out of her pocket. The woman leaped towards me, knocking me into the sand, and pushing her knife right up against my throat. My breathing quickened, as I was left helpless against this girl, who was snarling angrily in my face. She was actually very beautiful, and her eyes were a dark sapphire blue.

"Who are you." She demanded an answer, growling like a wildcat,

"Prince Spruce." I explained, and the girl's expression morphed into a bit of shock,

"From the woodland Human kingdom?" She asked, raising an eyebrow, but still not removing the knife,

"Yes." I nodded,

"It's alright, Sera." a guy shorter than the girl came up behind us. He had short fiery red hair, and what looked to be some kind of dog ears sat upon his head. He must have been a desert Catori. Sera removed her knife, and rose to her feet, standing beside the guy, still holding her knife, as if she thought I would do something.

The guy looked at me,

"I'm Blaze." He introduced himself, and I introduced myself to him,

"Ah, it's a pleasure to meet you." Blaze gave me a smile, and held out his hand.
