As the clock struck 7:15 PM, Lorelai, Rory, and Alessia rushed into the Stars Hollow Town Hall, already mid-meeting.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Lorelai called out, waving dramatically to catch Taylor Doosey's attention. "Sorry we're late, but you won't believe what happened. A llama got loose in our yard! Total chaos, hay everywhere, and you know how they are with garden gnomes. Poor Gus is never going to be the same."

Taylor, momentarily stunned, stared at Lorelai with his mouth slightly agape. "A...llama?"

"Yes, Taylor," Lorelai continued with exaggerated seriousness. "A llama. It was either that or a time-traveling goat, but I'm sticking with the llama story."

Before Taylor could respond, Rory and Alessia shuffled past him, stifling giggles. Lorelai followed, winking at Taylor as she breezed by.

They found seats next to Luke and Jess, who were already settled in, Luke looking as grumpy as ever.

"Nice of you to join us," Luke muttered.

"What can I say? Llamas wait for no one," Lorelai replied, making herself comfortable.

As Taylor resumed the meeting, discussing the agenda in his usual painstaking detail, Lorelai leaned over to Rory. "So, what's our take on the new gazebo color? I'm thinking hot pink."

Rory snorted, trying to hold back laughter. "Yeah, nothing says 'Stars Hollow charm' like hot pink."

Jess, catching the tail end of the conversation, leaned in. "I say we go full neon green. Really make a statement."

Alessia, not wanting to be left out, added, "Or paint it like a giant rainbow. Very inclusive."

Luke sighed, but a hint of a smile played at the corners of his mouth. "Can you all try to behave?"

Lorelai pulled out a bag of popcorn from her oversized purse and started sharing it around. "Popcorn, anyone? Nothing goes with town politics like buttery goodness."

Jess took a handful, winking at Alessia. "Don't mind if I do."

Taylor, noticing the commotion, tried to regain control. "Order! We need order! This is an important matter about the future of our gazebo!"

Lorelai raised her hand. "I have a very important question, Taylor."

Taylor sighed, clearly exasperated. "Yes, Lorelai?"

"What about glow-in-the-dark paint? That way, we can see the gazebo at night. Safety first!"

The townspeople started to chuckle, and even Taylor couldn't help but roll his eyes in amusement.

As the meeting descended into a chaotic mix of jokes and laughter, Rory tried to be the voice of reason. "Mom, we're going to get kicked out."

"Relax, Rory," Lorelai said, patting her on the shoulder. "It's not a real town meeting until we've suggested something completely outrageous."
