The weekend arrived, bringing with it a sense of uneasy anticipation that settled over Alessia. She spent the day keeping up appearances, avoiding Lorelai and Rory as much as possible. She didn't want them to suspect anything. As the hours ticked by, her mind was filled with thoughts of the party—an escape from the constant tension and emotional turmoil she felt.

As night fell, Alessia waited anxiously in her room, glancing at the clock every few minutes. When it finally read 10:00 PM, she knew it was time. She carefully opened her window, slipping out onto the roof with practiced ease. The cool night air hit her, and she shivered slightly, both from the chill and the thrill of sneaking out.

Alessia had put considerable thought into her outfit for the night. She wore low-waisted black jeans that hugged her curves, paired with a cropped, off-the-shoulder sweater that showcased just enough of her midriff to make a statement. Her makeup was meticulously applied, bold and confident, with a touch of smoky eyeshadow and light pink lipgloss. She completed the look with her favorite leather boots, making her feel both fierce and empowered.

As she made her way through the quiet streets of Stars Hollow, heading toward the address Kyle had given her, she felt a mixture of excitement and apprehension. She tried to push thoughts of her recent struggles to the back of her mind. When she arrived, she realized it was anything but a small get-together. The house was packed, music blaring, and people spilling out onto the lawn and driveway. It was a full-blown party.

Her heart raced as she pushed through the throng of people, searching for a familiar face. She spotted Kyle near the back, surrounded by a group of rowdy hockey players and cheerleaders.

"Hey, Alessia!" Kyle greeted her loudly, handing her a red solo cup filled with an unknown liquid. "Glad you could make it!"

"Wouldn't miss it," she replied, taking a sip. The drink burned as it went down, but she welcomed the sensation. She wanted to numb everything, to drown out the pain and confusion.

Kyle led her to a group playing a drinking game in the corner. The players were engrossed in a game of beer pong, and Alessia quickly found herself swept up in the competitive spirit. She laughed and cheered as she scored points, the alcohol warming her from the inside out.

"Nice shot, Alessia!" one of the guys shouted as she landed a perfect throw.

"Thanks, Matt," she replied with a grin. "I think I'm getting the hang of this."

As the night wore on, Alessia moved from one group to another, her inhibitions melting away with each drink. She played flip cup, chugging her drink and flipping the cup with increasing dexterity. She cheered and high-fived her teammates, feeling a camaraderie she hadn't felt in weeks.

"Alessia, you're a natural at this!" Kyle said, handing her another drink.

"Maybe I should join the team," she joked, eliciting laughs from everyone. "Think they'd let me?"
