As Lorelai opened the door, Alessia watched Sookie appear, balancing a dish while leaning her head against the doorframe.

"Davey had just fallen asleep," Sookie said, a tired but happy smile lighting her face.

"I know, I'm sorry. Thank you for coming over at the last minute. Is that—"

"Potstickers," Sookie declared proudly.

"Ah, I love you," Lorelai said, ushering her inside.

"Go on in the living room," Lorelai instructed Sookie.

"Okay," Sookie replied, but as she began to walk out the door, Lorelai caught her.

"The other living room," Lorelai corrected.

"Okay," Sookie said, a bit disoriented as she made her way toward the right room.

"Open your eyes now," Lorelai teased as Sookie finally walked into the correct living room, and Alessia followed behind, chuckling.

"Okay," Sookie said, entering the room just as Gypsy arrived at the front door.

"Hey, Lorelai." Gypsy greeted, with her usual half smile half scowl.

"Hey, Gypsy. Thanks for coming on such short notice," Lorelai said, ushering her in as well.

"Always up for a good party," Gypsy replied with a grin.

"Emily is in the living room with the others," Lorelai directed.

"Great. Who's Emily?" Gypsy asked.

"Follow me, I'll point her out," Lorelai said, leading Gypsy into the living room, Alessia trailing closely behind.

Emily was sitting on the couch, laughter spilling from her as she sat with Patty and Babette, all three sipping from colorful plastic cups.

"Look, everyone, it's Gypsy!" Lorelai announced.

"Gypsy! Gypsy's here! Everyone, Gypsy's here!" Emily shouted, her face lighting up with enthusiasm.

"Gypsy, that's my Grandma, Emily," Alessia chimed in, stepping forward with a grin.

"Come on, Gypsy, come over here and sit by me," Emily beckoned warmly.

"Okay," Gypsy said, taking a seat next to Emily, who was already animatedly discussing her drink.

"I have to say, Lorelai, I am loving this drink. Have you ever had one of these, Gypsy?" Emily asked, her eyes sparkling with delight.

"I don't know," Gypsy replied, glancing at the colorful concoction in her hand.

"It's called a rum and coke," Emily informed her proudly.

"You know, you may look high-brow, Emily, but underneath, you're just a broad," Babette chimed in cheekily.
