Alessia woke up feeling relatively refreshed, though her mind lingered on the memory of her playful flour fight with Beau. As she got ready for school, she felt a small sense of excitement at seeing him again.

In the hallways between classes, she found Beau waiting by her locker, his smile brightening when he saw her. "Morning, Alessia. Ready for another day of academic adventures?"

"Definitely," she replied with a sarcastic grin. "Especially with you around."

They headed to their first class together, chatting and sharing jokes that made the time pass quickly. Beau's company always made things feel lighter and more manageable.

After their first class, they sat together in the cafeteria for lunch. The conversation flowed easily, punctuated by laughter and shared stories. For a while, Alessia felt completely at ease.

When the lunch bell rang, they parted ways, agreeing to meet up later. Alessia walked through the hallways alone, feeling a sense of normalcy return. That is, until someone suddenly grabbed her arm and yanked her into the nearest bathroom.

Startled, Alessia turned to see Jess standing there, his expression serious. "Jess, what's going on?" she demanded, trying to pull her arm free.

"We need to talk," he said, his voice tense.

"I don't think we do," Alessia replied, struggling to maintain her composure.

Jess closed the gap between them, his face determined. "Alessia, listen. I know you're angry, but I need to explain."

"Explain what?!" she snapped, her voice trembling. "You kissed my sister!"

Jess's face showed a mix of guilt and frustration. "I understand you're hurt, but I want you to hear me out."

"Why should I?" Alessia shot back, her fear rising. "You had your chance to explain before all this mess."

"I'm trying to fix things," Jess said, his tone almost pleading. "I just want to make things right between us."

Alessia felt her heart race as Jess's presence loomed closer, his insistence making her feel cornered. "Jess, I need space. You're making this worse."

Jess's grip tightened on her arm. "You don't get to decide that. We need to settle this now."

Her breathing grew shallow, her vision narrowing. She pressed her back against the bathroom sink, feeling the walls close in. "Jess, please! You're scaring me. Let me go!"

Jess's grip loosened slightly, but he remained persistent. "Just listen to me, okay? I care about you."

Alessia's panic heightened, and she struggled to free herself. "Let me go!" she demanded, her voice a mix of desperation and anger.

Seeing her distress, Jess finally stepped back, though his frustration was evident. "Fine. But this isn't over."

Alessia hurried out of the bathroom, her heart pounding and her mind reeling from the encounter. She slumped against the wall outside, trying to steady her breathing. The confrontation with Jess had left her feeling overwhelmed.

As she sat there, her breathing became increasingly ragged. She slid down to the floor, hugging her knees as the panic attack intensified. Her chest tightened painfully, and her breaths came in short, sharp bursts. She felt tears stream down her face, unable to control the overwhelming emotions.

The sound of footsteps approached, but Alessia was too far gone in her panic to notice. Beau entered the hallway, his eyes widening when he saw her. "Alessia?" he said softly, his concern evident.

Alessia looked up, her eyes filled with fear and exhaustion. "Beau..." she managed to croak out, her voice barely audible through her sobs.

Beau quickly knelt beside her. "Hey, it's okay. Just breathe with me, alright? In and out, nice and slow."

He guided her through deep, steady breaths, his calming presence helping her focus on his voice. Gradually, the panic began to subside, her breathing slowly returning to normal. Beau stayed with her, his hand resting gently on her back.

When Alessia felt ready, she looked up at him with a shaky smile. "Thank you. I... didn't expect this today."

Beau nodded, his expression softening. "How about we hang out after school? A distraction might help."

She managed a genuine smile. "That sounds perfect. Thanks for being here, Beau."

As they left the bathroom, Beau's presence was a comforting distraction from the chaos of the day. Alessia felt a bit of relief at the prospect of spending time with him later, knowing that his support would help her through the tough moments ahead.
