Never in a million years would I have guessed I'd be getting married like this. When Don had told his family, they had been so against it, especially a girl who was about my age, I think her name was Violin or something.
His dad had made his ‘no’ as evident as anything. The way all of them refused me was enough to make me change my mind, but Don holding my hand made me feel assured, I felt like I had authority.
After lots and lots of persuasion, they finally agreed.
Luckily, June's wedding dress fit me perfectly but was equally discomforting, it showed an indecent amount of my cleavage.
The hairstylist had done my hair in ways I didn't know was possible. My makeup was stunning, when I stared at myself in the mirror I couldn't believe who was there.
I was literally getting married to a multi billionaire. I was going to be swimming in riches. Was this really a good idea?
This was only a marriage of two years, it's not like I'm forced to spend the rest of my life with him.
But didn't it just prove how cheap I was, selling myself for $100000.
What am I saying? My account balance would be moving from $2000 to $100000 and I was doing what, complaining?
Suzy would get her surgery done in peace and everyone would be happy. Yes, I may have to live two years with a man I know nothing about, but then think about my life after that. I'd never be poor again.
I heard music coming from the hall, the wedding had begun. My wedding had begun. My life was going to change after today.
I had always imagined my wedding to be simple, with Suzy and Rose as my bridesmaids but they weren't even going to attend, instead some people I have no idea of were going to be my bridesmaid.
My wedding was going to be the wedding of the season. So, I'd be the anonymous bride of Don.
That had gotten a sad sigh from me.
The door to where I was sitting alone to stare at myself opened. “You'd soon be called out.” A female in her mid twenties said.
Well, here's my life now. “Okay.” I stood up.
The girl ran to me, covering my face with a white veil. When I stared at myself in the mirror, I realized my face wasn't evident from the veil but I could see clearly.
I walked out of the room and the girl followed behind.
My heart was beating faster than it had been in years as I was just walking down the huge building.
I stopped when I was standing in front of the door of the hall where everyone was.
“And now, here comes the bride.” Those words rang into my head. Here it go.
The doors separated, I was sure there were two men that opened it.
The hall was extremely huge. The people sitting down were no doubt billionaires and millionaires, if possible trillionaires.
I started walking down the aisle. I had no father who would walk down with me so I had to go alone.
I could hear tiny murmurs from the crowd. “I think it's June.” Some said.
Others said whatever they felt was right and that only made me more anxious.
What would they think when they see an entirely different and unimportant person. It's not like I'm some billionaire or something.
Walking down the aisle seemed to take like a billion years, but finally I stopped in front of the handsome looking Don who stretched forth his hand for me to take.
I took his hand and his grip was so smooth and gentle.
We were both standing beside each other and photographs were being taken.
I was even more anxious when down released my hand, holding the tip of my veil with both hands.
Oh no, he was going to remove my veil and everyone would see who I am.
When he raised my veil up, our gaze locked and for a while I was lost in his gaze, I didn't even notice the increased amount of photographs being taken and the slightly loud murmurs from the crowd.
Don's lips curved to a smile, the smile caused a little flutter occur in my heart.
When we started the vows, I felt June's parents glares piercing through my skin. Was it my fault their daughter ran away?
“You may kiss your bride.”
What! I had totally forgotten this was a ceremony in wedding. Oh no, I've never kissed a guy before. Nobody ever believes it when I tell them I'm still a virgin but I am.
I have never put dating into my mind because I've been too busy working and trying to meet ends meet.
Was this really going to be how my first kiss will be? I had always imagined my first kiss to be with the person of my dreams not a guy I had to marry for money.
He wrapped his right hand around my waist, his left hand pressed against my neck, pulling my veil a little, but it was too strong to fall off.
He pulled me closer, linking his lips to mine. Here we go.
I shut my eyes to actually feel the kiss. Even if my fist kiss had to turn out this way, I was still going to make the best out of it.
The kiss was electrifying doing series of things to my spine. I felt the heat of the kiss rush down my core.
Oh my, was this how it felt kissing or was it just because I was kissing Don.
I wanted the kiss to last longer, but he pulled apart, staring at the cheering crowd. I turned to the crowd too, abashed at how much pleasure I derived from the kiss.
He held my hand and our fingers intertwined sending sparks to my spine.

When we both got out of the hall after the wedding was over, there were so many medias flashing cameras to my face with bodyguards pushing them away and they trying to find a little way to come closer.Gosh, this was the first time such thing was happening to me. If this was how celebrities lived, then I'm happy I'm not one, the lights were literally blinding me. I had to block it with my palm, I wondered how Don didn't look affected by the lights.
Finally, we had reached the car. The passenger seat was opened by a bodyguard. Don made way for me to enter first which I did and he followed next. The door closed and the driver zoomed off.
So this was it, I was married to a billionaire. Maybe it wasn't going to be such big of a deal.
