-Eri Jones-

"I'm done with everything you told me to do so can I go rest now Mr Jones." I laid more emphasis on the last two words.

I mean, why does he still overwork me when we're married?

I'd been working all morning and not gotten his attention at all. Not even once did he compliment me on my new shoes.

Guess what, he didn't raise his head from that stupid laptop. "But it's not closing yet, is it?"

Placing my right hand on my hips, I sighed. "It's ten minutes to closing time, can't you just give me those minutes to rest?"

Still typing on the laptop, he replied. "For the company to become a trillion dollar company, we mustn't waste any precious times."

I held myself back from uttering cuss words. "Trillion dollar company, that's all you ever talk about."

Scoffing, I continued. "You have nothing else to say than your mission to making your company this and that. You can't even notice your own wife's shoes, yet you notice the company's stock."

With that, he stopped typing on the laptop to stare at me, a lop-sided smile playing on his lips.

"Are you jealous?"

Jealous? "Jealous? Of who?"

"The company." He stood up from the chair, strutting to stand right in front of me, only a few inches away.

"And why would I waste my time being jealous of something that isn't alive?" Although we'd been married for almost a year, his closeness still sent my heart on a marathon race.

He wrapped his arms around my waist. "I'm sorry my love if I gave the company more attention than I gave to you."

He planted a small peck on my lips and although I wanted more than that, I decided to be patient.

"And also for overworking you."

Again another kiss, but this time it was longer and more electrifying, sending a snake of desire down my spine.

I didn't realize when a moan left my throat as his lips pulled apart from mine.

"Also, killer shoes you've got there." He stared at them, and I felt proud of myself.

With that, our lips connected again. The desire bubbling in me.

I didn't care where we were but I didn't want it to end.

I didn't even realize when my phone vibrated till Don let out a small groan, still doing wonders to my mouth.

The vibration came again, this time it annoyed me.

I decided to ignore it when Don's hands found its way to my butt cheek and lips found its way to my neck.

Again, that frustrating vibration causing him to pull apart from me. "Just check who's texting you." He sounded as annoyed as I felt to the interruption.

I pulled out my phone from the pocket of my skirt, unlocking it.

My heart dropped when I realized it was from June. How the fuck did she get my number?

"What's wrong?" He probably noticed my change in expression.

"Keep having fun kissing my man in the office because I'm coming for you." I read it out loud, suddenly feeling threatened.

I turned to Don, fear obviously evident in my expression. "She's watching us."

But Don was already running out to check if she was close by.

That was when I received another text from her. "Listen, you won't find me. Just leave him alone and I'd forget you ever existed."

He stared at me in concern. "Don't worry, I'll check the CCTV footage to see how she got here. I'll also increase the security, just don't worry, okay?"

But I was already panicking, probably turned pale already.

She was a stalker. She was watching my move. She's here somewhere and I had no idea where.

Don ambulated to me, wrapping his arms around my shoulder, pulling me to his chest.

"Don't worry yourself because of some psycho. She's crazy, so don't get all worked up by some threatening words from her, okay?"

I managed to nod, I was sure he also felt alarmed by the message.

The thought of being watched was creepy. I needed to get my thoughts out. I needed to spill this fear I was feeling to someone.

Hane. Where was she? I'd sent her to check out the company while I finished work.

"Let's inform the police about this." I said in his chest.

"Police? Don't you think that's taking things too far?"

"No it is not." I had no idea why he'd think this wasn't a police case.

"Listen Eri, I know you're feeling panicked because this was not what you'd thought she'd do," I had a feeling he was telling that to himself.

"But trust me when I say the police isn't the best option. It'd just give people something to talk about."

"But she's stalking me."

He tightened the hug. "I'll have a word with her about this, okay?"

Sighing, I grabbed his suit gently. "I don't want anything to happen to us."

"And I would make sure nothing happens, okay?"

"I'll try to trust you."

But the message didn't make me trust him so well. She was somewhere watching us. Who knows where she could be. What she's feeling staring at us hug.

Listening to us, and she knows we aren't planning on involving the cops so she'd probably feel at ease that she could do as she pleased.

This was creepy but I wouldn't let her do anything to ruin my marriage.

She wants to fight, and I'd let her know how I fight.

I loved this man too much to lose him. I wouldn't let any crazy girl take him away from me.

I rose my head to stare at him. "I love you."

His lips pulled to a smile. "Not as much as I love you."
