I stretched with my eyes squeezed shut.

Opening my eyes, I realized how warm the duvet felt covering my naked self.

I had a really great sleep last night after Don and I had sex and I slept with my head on his chest and his arms around my shoulder.

I noticed him standing in front of the mirror where he wore his Rolex watch.

He looked stunning in the white shirt he wore with gray suit and pants.

He pivoted, smiling at me, then ambled towards me. “Good morning beauty.”

I returned his smile, pulling my shoulders to my cheeks, indicating how I'd enjoyed my sleep.

He leaned closer, planting a kiss on my forehead.

I sat up, not bothering to cover my breast with the duvet, but my lower half was covered. “You're off to work?”

He nodded, walking towards the mirror where he took a brush he used for his hair.

“Could you wait for me to quickly get ready so we could go together?” I threw the duvet off me, standing up from the bed, about to head to the shower.

“No, you'll make me late.” He continued brushing his hair. “And perhaps, didn't I tell you to not come to work till June's found?”

I rolled my eyes. “Don't you think I'd be safer in a company with much security and if I'm within eyes reach?”

“Still, I can't wait till you get ready or else I'd be late and you know I need to work a lot if I want—”

“—to make the company a trillion dollar company, I get it already.” I completed it for him with a roll of eyes and a smile from him.

“So now you get why I can't wait for you.”

“Still, I'm coming to work later today.” I scurried into the bathroom.

Weird how normal it felt walking around naked in front of him. Something I'd never had done a year ago.

***
A bodyguard opened the door for me, closing it as soon as I was out. My red heels acknowledged my presence at every step I took closer into the company.

The fact that about twenty bodyguards ambulated behind me made me automatically demand respect.

I walked into the company and was greeted by tons of workers who acted like I was actually the CEO of the company and not just a worker like they were.

Walking to Dina, I gave her a smile hoping she'd ignore the presence of the bodyguards which seemed hard to do.

“Hello Mrs Jones, nice to see you coming so early.” At least she didn't hide the sarcasm in her tone.

“Please don't mind me, I just had a lot of problems choosing what to wear.”

She scanned me from head to toe. “And you chose the right clothes. You look amazing.”

My smile grew wider. “Thanks, you don't look too had yourself.”

She half snorted half laughed. “Compared to you, I look whack.”

I puckered my forehead a little. “Seriously, you look great.”

Picking the pen beside the register book, I wrote my name and time of arrival which I sighted on the wall clock.

Then, my attention turned to Dina who seemed to be staring at all the guards in awe.

She turned to me. “How ‘bout Hane?”

I was certain my face fell, but I tried turning it to a cherry expression. “She left.”

She gasped a little. “Left? To where?”

“Believe me Dina, it's a long story.”

She looked like she wanted to ask more but knew best not to. “You know, I have a question for you.”

“Okay?”

She leaned closer, indicating that I did the same which I did, then she whispered to my ear. “Were you seriously the meant-to-be anonymous fiancee?”

I moved back, giving her a lop-sided smile. “I think that's something you'd need to figure out yourself.”

She groaned, her face falling. “Seriously?”

With a wink and a wave, I left her presence to the elevator, the guards never leaving me.

A bodyguard pressed the elevator button. We all entered in once the doors separated. I had no idea how, but I was still in front of the elevator when it closed.

The same man pressed the last floor and we waited till the elevator dinged and the doors separated.

I took the first step out and they all followed.

I inserted my card into the hole, unlocking the door.

I had expected the guards to follow me into the office, but they didn't and just waited out there.

“You're late.” Don said, staring at me from the desk, a smile playing on his lips.

I smiled back at him, sauntering towards him. “Apologies Mr Jones, I just had to look pleasant for my husband.”

He scanned my dressing in admiration. “And that certainly worked.” His arms wrapped my waist, pulling me to sit on his laps.

“You look stunning.” He whispered into my ears, coating my skin with goosebumps.

“I'm glad you feel that way.” I stared at his laptop, not caring one bit at whatever words were written in it.

His hand found the back of my hair, running it up and down my hair gently.

“I'm so lucky to have you as my wife Eri.” His lips brushed my cheeks.

“I'm happy June left her wedding so I could be able to live with you the rest of my life.”

“I love you so much Eri.” He placed his hand on my cheeks, pulling my gaze from the laptop to his eyes that spoke it all.

The love. The desire. The protectiveness. The treasuring.

“I love you too.” Then our lips met.

His tongue did wonders to my mouth, gracing it with his presence. His lips literally overtook mine, stealing all breath from me.

I squeezed my eyes shut, placing my hand at the back of his neck, pressing it with as much desire that flowed in me.

I hoped my moan wasn't audible when his second hand found its way to my butt, cupping it.

This man was a treasure not worth losing to anyone, especially not someone like June.
