“What are you talking about?” My brows were pulled together in disapproval.
“Every married couple go on honeymoons.” He said it like I was dumb to talk otherwise.
“Every happy married couple.” I clarified, but got an indifferent expression from him.
“Well, the world thinks we're one.”
“But we're not, and I'm not going to leave Suzy just to go to a far away place.” I folded my arms across my chest.
“Listen,” his stern tone was back which made me slightly nervous, “you signed a contract to not make the media doubt at the slightest that this marriage isn't real.”
“Yes I know, but I don't want to leave Suzy in the hospital alone.”
“Your friend, Rose can stay with her and I could send some of her maid from the house she'd be living to take care of her.” His tone was slightly calmer.
“When would we be leaving? And for how long?”
“We'd be leaving for Australia tomorrow and we'd be back in a month or two months time.”
“What? Tomorrow?” My brows were now pulled together upwards, forming a sad frown, why so soon?
He rose an eyebrow. “Why?”
“It’s too soon. Can't we go later on? Please.”
“Why?”
“Suzy would be discharged from the hospital in 3 days time and I really want to walk her to her new house,” I glued my palms together, intertwining my fingers, “please.”
“Three days is a long time.” He sounded so close to giving in so I decided to look even more pleading, leaning closer to him.
“We can leave the day after she's discharged. I just really want to see her expression when she sees her new house.”
He took a deep breath, staring at every where but my face. “Okay.”
My lips curved to a smile. “Thank you so much.” Before I could give it a second thought, I'd thrown myself in his arms.
He seemed surprised and I thought he wasn't going to return the hug, but he did causing my smile to grow even wider.

The car came to a halt in front of Rose's house. Her house suddenly looked small after staying in that mansion for 6 days.I got down from the car, walking over to her door to open it. I had decided I wasn't going to leave my best friend who'd been with me through thick and thin, now I was wealthy.
The door opened. Rose's figure standing in front of me in a braless white shirt and blue bum shorts.
“Hey girl,” her smile was genuine. “What's up?” She made way for me to enter which I did.”
“Nothing much.” I found my way to one of her couch, laying on it.
“I just made spaghetti, would you like some?”
“Yeah sure, thanks.”
She made her way to the kitchen that was still in the living room, just separated by a small slab.
I took my phone from my blue purse, going straight to my Instagram account where I had a hundred thousand followers considering the fact I was now the anonymous fiancee.
Rose came to me later with two plates of spaghetti and a fork on each plate. I took a plate from her, sitting up on the couch and saying a small “thank you” to her before she sat on a chair opposite me.
“You know, now that Suzy's okay I think I want to start dating again. I mean look at you, I got my first kiss before you yet you're married while I'm still searching.” She made it sound like a joke so we both laughed.
“Well, you should find someone, you're not getting any younger you know.”
“Yeah yeah mom.”
“Whatever,” I put a mouthful of spaghetti in my mouth.
“Actually, when Suzy's back from the hospital, I don't want her to live alone so would you move in with her?”
“Oh yeah of course, I would live in that small house of yours with Suzy while you enjoy your life living in some mansion, filled with nothing but wealth.” I knew she was joking so I just rolled my eyes.
“So would you do it?”
“Instead, I'd bring her to live with me here, you know how much I love this house,” Here comes the story, “this is the main memory I have of my parents. I don't think I can ever leave this house for any reason, it's a part of me already. I think my husband and I would live and raise our children in this house.”
I couldn't resist rolling my eyes again at how she was being dramatic. “I'm not telling you to live with Suzy in my house, you'd be living in one of Don's Mansions.”
Her eyes widened. She stood up, dropping her plate on the couch before running to her room.
“What are you doing?” Out of worry, I stood up dropping my plate on the couch, running to her room just to see her crouched beside a traveller's bag pulling clothes from the down side of the closet into the bag.
“What on earth are you doing?” I had to ask again.
“Obviously packing my clothes, I'd be leaving in two days, I can't leave without clothes.” The clothes were mostly dominated by the ones we bought at the mall.
A smile played on my lips. “What happened to you not being able to leave this house?”
She scoffed. “This old thing can't give me the good things of life, you've given me a better opportunity, I'm not missing out on that.”
“Don't forget you're also going to be taking care of Suzy since she needs to stay at home for about 4-6 weeks before chemotherapy.”
“Of course, Suzy's a sister. Wealth can't stop that. Now come help me pack.”
I ambled towards her, rolling my eyes and shaking my head accompanied with a smile.
“Part of you my foot.” I chuckled, while she totally ignored me.
