-Eri Sunville-

I opened my eyes slowly, staring at the white light I could see. For a moment, I was confused.

What was happening? Where was I? I didn't remember what had happened last.

I felt a sharp pain in my chest and throat causing me to immediately recall everything that had happened with the pool.

What happened next? I only recalled the pain I felt drowning with no one to ask for help, but then I don't know what happened afterwards.

“You're awake.” A thick masculine voice I recognized to be Don rang in my eardrums.

I turned to see him scurrying towards me from the door, a wide grin planted on his lips. He looked so pale and weak. I'd never seen him like that.

I was so confused, especially when he gently leaned closer to give me a hug. “Gosh, I thought you were gone.”

He didn't pull from the hug. The door opened again, Darien and Hane ambulated in, a smile planted to their faces.

“What happened?” I asked when Don had finally released me from the hug.

“I should be asking you that.” He sat on a chair beside the bed I lay on. “What on earth were you doing beside a pool? And how did you lose your balance to fall into a pool when you know you can't swim?”

He had a frown plastered on his face. His scolding only gave me a headache.

“I didn't fall.” I said, after remembering the figure I saw beside me before I fell into the pool.

“Huh?” His brows were pulled in confusion this time.

“Someone pushed me into the pool, I didn't fall on my own.” After I said it, my heart started hammering. Why would anyone push me? Was someone after my life?

He seemed to have read my thoughts, because he placed a hand on mine. “It's okay, do you remember who it was?”

I noticed his second hand was clenched to a fist.

“No, I didn't see the face of the person. He was dressed in black.”

“So you know it's a male.”

I shook my head. “No, I'm just guessing.” His questioning was making me even more afeared.

His grip on my hand had tightened and I could see the vein popping from his neck. “What was he wearing? What was his height? Did he say anything?”

The fear in me bought tears to my eyes. “I don't know, I really don't.”

Darien placed a hand on his shoulder. “Calm down man.”

With that his grip on my hand softened. “I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.” He apologized. “I'll report this to the police and everything'll be alright, you should rest okay?”

I nodded. “Okay.”

“Oh my, I was so worried when I heard the news, are you alright?” Rose's voice made it obvious she'd been crying.

“I'm alright, how about Suzy?”

“She's in church.”

“Church?” That was a surprise. Suzy had never been to a church before.

“Yes, when we saw the news about you yesterday, she rushed to church to pray and when we heard you woke up, she rushed to church again.”

“Awwn, that's so sweet. I'm so sorry for bothering you guys.”
