I came out of the bathroom. That was the best shower I'd ever had in tears. I took my bath in a bathtub, not just any bathtub but an expensive one.

Suzy and Rose would have loved to see this life. Or maybe they can.

There was a knock from the door. I was wrapped in a towel since I had no clothes apart from the wedding dress, I didn't bring any of my clothes.

“Is that a male or female?” I had to confirm, clutching hard to the towel on my body. It was white and comfortable, fluffy and soft. Also looked expensive.

“Female ma'am.” She replied.

“Okay, you can come in.”

The door opened and a different maid walked in with a traveller's bag. She closed the door as soon as she was in.

“We went to get your clothes from your house.” She said, head bowed.

I wasn't sure if that was supposed to make me relieved or annoyed. No one asked my premission before entering into my house, wasn't that against the law or something?

But at least, I had clothes to wear. I checked the time on a wall clock, it was 10:27 a.m. How long did I sleep for? I know I wasn't in the bathroom for more than 20 minutes.

“Thank you, you can leave.” I gave her a warm smile but wasn't sure if she saw it as her head was still bowed till she left.

I walked to the bag, opening it. I picked out a green mid thigh A-line dress. I also picked out one of my bras and underwear wondering what the person who had picked it from my house was thinking.

I wore the bra and underwear then threw on the gown.

Don was probably going to be furious since he'd been waiting for me for a while now.

Before I left the room, I heard my phone that lay on the bed ring.

I rushed to get it, a smile appearing on my lips when I saw Rose. She's probably about to ask me how my wedding night was. Weird girl.

I answered the call, heading out of the room to the parlor.

“Heyo lo—”

“What the fuck have you been doing with your fucking life!” Her scream interrupted me, causing me to pull the phone from my ear a little before putting it back.

“What's up?”

“What the heck is wrong with you? I've been calling your fucking phone but you asshole didn't pick up, you didn't even return the fucking call.” She sounded agitated and worried.

This is the first time in a long time I've heard her use so much cuss words at once.

“I've been trying your number, you didn't pick up.” She continued, not sounding any less annoyed. “I kept on calling, but got no answer. I tried Suzy's number but she didn't pick the fucking call either. Just for me to go the the house and she's no where to be seen.

“I go to her hospital at five fucking a.m and she's not there even the damn doctor is no where to be seen. Just to get back to your house and see some men with traveller's bag like some asshole is dead or something.”

The thought of the fact  that a male packed my clothes made me cringe.

“So, the conclusion of it all is that you were worried about me.” A smirk was formed on my face even though I knew she couldn't see me.

“Asshole, I was worried about Suzy not you.” She seemed to be more relaxed.

I had gotten to the parlor and Don was no where to be seen. Did he leave? Did I make him wait for too long?

“Rose, do you mind if I call you later, I have to do something?”

“What? Are you crazy? At least let me know where Suzy is.”

“I'll explain it all later, okay?” I hung up, I wondered why I hadn't seen when call. When I checked my call history I saw 20 missed call from her, woah. Did I sleep that deep?

I turned to the parlor where Don was no where to be seen.

Where on earth was he? I noticed a maid passing by.

“Hi,” I called out and she stopped walking, turning to me with a bow, “do you by any chance know where Mr Jones is?”

“He’s in the other parlor.”

Other parlor? What? Well this house was too massive to have just one parlor.

“Could you take me there?”

“Yes ma'am.” She started walking and I assumed that was my queue to follow.

After a while of passing tons of different parts of this enormous house, we finally got to an even bigger parlor.

Don was sitting on one extremely beautiful white sofa and there was man sitting on a chair opposite him.

They both turned to me. From Don's expression I was sure he was like ‘finally’.

The man who was in a white shirt, black suit and pants stood up. “Mrs Jones,” that made me cringe, “please have your seat.”

He directed for me to sit on the sofa beside Don which I did. He sat down too. I realized there was a briefcase beside his chair.

I turned to Don whose gaze was directed to the man, so I did the same. What was going on?

“Please let me introduce myself,” the man said seeming to have read my mind, “I'm Mr Hames, Mr Jones’ lawyer.”

Ooooh, that made sense. I had to sign the contract. After everything that had happened, I'd gladly put my signature on those papers.

“I already prepared the contract,” he reached for his briefcase, pulling out a file of papers stamped together.

“Wait what's going on?” I furrowed my brows earning a glare from Don and a confused raise of brow from Hames.

“What do you mean?”

“This contract is supposed to be a two way thing, what happened to the things I don't want you to do in this marriage. Why make something and not even think about my own side of it.”

Yep, that was the right thing to do. I didn't want him doing things I wouldn't want him to do. I obviously am going to sign the contract but I think my opinion on how things should be done, is also needed.
