Tensei opened the door, frowning.
"Hisoka.... Tenya's not here right now."
"I know," the girl responded. "I'm here for you."
Tensei raise and eyebrow, before letting her in. He wheeled himself over to the couch, crossing his arms.
"You broke up." Tensei said bluntly.
Hisoka sighed, taking a seat.
"Tensei-"
"You're a child." Tensei quickly cut her off. "It's not your job to keep me alive or active. Heck, you didn't have to try and protect me, and yet you did. You went against your own father just to protect people, and for that, I will never be angry with you."
Hisoka nodded, before taking a deep breath.
"Onto why I'm actually here.... I want to fix your back." She said, sitting up straighter.
Tensei snorted, staring at her. His smile dropped when he saw the looks of seriousness that crossed over her face.
"I- you what?"
"I also want to pay for the damages to your gear that occurred. My mother left me a lot of money, and it should be enough to get your equipment tuned up and-"
"Hisoka, stop. Run me by that first part again."
Hisoka let out a breath, saying "I'm going to repair the damage my father did.... But, um, I'm gonna need to stab you in the back to do it. Literally."
Tensei shrugged, saying "Not like it's the first time."
.
"Hisoka.... Are you alright?" Ochako asked her.
Hisoka yawned, appearing exhausted.
"Yeah," She responded. "Just.... Well, I normally sleep decent. However, ever since the breakup, I um.... Can't stand the thought of being in my room too long. Alone. Without Tenya."
*Elsewhere....*
"Stop giving me that look!" Tenya hissed at Izuku. "You all seriously can't think I was in the wrong for what happened, right?! She lied about something so.... Important!"
The boys all gave various looks of disappointment. Izuku crossed his arms, taking a moment to consider his words.
"Tenya, you're right. She shouldn't have lied to you or hid a secret this big, and she should've made you aware of it early on in your relationship. That's not what we're mad about." Izuku stated.
"It's how you handled it, amigo." Sero said, frowning. "You didn't so much as let her explain her actions, you just-"
"You blew up."
Everyone was surprised to hear this from Katsuki of all people. The blonde stood up, walking over to him.
"You should be fucking ashamed of yourself, Iida." He snarled.
"Excuse me?!"
"You fucking heard me!"
Katsuki's palms sparked, a glare appearing on his face.
"Hisoka gave up everything to help you! She risked her life multiple times just so you could keep being heroes! You think it was her fault Stain took down your brother?! Well, guess what, she did what not even you fucking could and bought him time! It's thanks to her you got those last few weeks with him!"
"Bakugo-"
"SHUT YOUR FIVE DOLLAR ASS UP BEFORE I DECIDE TO MAKE CHANGE!" Katsuki snapped. "She's been working as hard as everyone to be in the hero course! She could've stopped at any time, and been a villain! She didn't stay because she felt obligated, she stayed, and wasted her time on an asshole like you, because despite whatever twisted fucking things you think she's done, she gives more of a damn then most heroes! She knew all the risks of dating and falling in love with you, and yet, she pushed that danger to the side when it mattered, because she fucking loves you too much to let you go!"
Katsuki took a moment to catch his breath, before letting small explosions pop from his hands.
"You're a coward, Iida, and a fool."
With that, Katsuki stormed off, the rest of the Bakusquad not far behind.
"You're supposed to be our class rep." Izuku said quietly. "How you can look at yourself and say you did the right thing is beyond me, Tenya."
Tenya was left alone as the boys filed out the room, a sickening feeling working its way through his chest. He.... He did the right thing, right? She lied, so was he truly in the wrong?
*Later on...*
"I'm home." Tenya said upon entering his house. "Tensei, mother, I need some advice."
Tensei walked over to him, handing him a water bottle.
"Thanks, Tensei."
"Mhm."
.... Wait.
Tenya spat out the water, his eyes widening at the sight of Tensei walking. He was on his feet, arms crossed, staring at Tenya.
"You're walking!" Tenya exclaimed, his mother rounding the corner.
"Hisoka came by." She said, narrowing his eyes at him. "She used her quirk and worked on Tensei's spine. She healed him."
Tenya had never paled so fast.
"W- what?! Are you okay?!"
"Stop that!" Tensei finally snapped, much to the surprise of Tenya and Katsumi.
"Stop what?! She could've hurt you?! What if that made the damage worse?!"
"Is that all you can think about, Tenya?" Tensei scolded. "Hisoka came here to fix a mess she had nothing to do with. She even paid to get my gear repaired, and expected nothing for doing all this in return. She did that, despite what you did to her."
Tenya groaned.
"Why does everyone say that? Was I truly in the wrong for what I said?" He questioned.
"Tenya, look around you. Hisoka came here of all places. Do you have any idea how much that must've hurt for her to do? Knowing that this might've been the last time she was welcomed into our home?" Katsumi said. Tenya opened his mouth to respond, his mother cutting him off by saying "No, of course not. Because her struggles and sacrifices don't matter, right? It's not a villain's place to meddle in a hero's affairs."
Tenya's eyes narrowed, the teen saying "Chihara's not a villain!"
"Well, obviously she is, right? She lied, and hid information from you, and is related to the hero killer, so that must make her just as bad, correct?" His mother continued.
"Nonsense!" Tenya said. "You cannot just make her out to be evil for something she-"
"Then why are you doing that to her?"
Tenya fell quiet, his eyes widening slightly. Was that what he had been doing? Had.... Had he truly been treating her that horribly? Had he been treating her like a villain? No! He couldn't.... It wasn't her fault she was related to Stain, right? She whoever asked for that, and she couldn't control it, so-
"Oooh...." Tenya said quietly. "I think I have royally messed up."
