"This is so lame!" Hisoka groaned, sitting on the edge of a rooftop.
"You don't get to complain when you're the one who wanted to do a longer patrol."
Hisoka had only ever done patrols when working for Nighteye. She was pretty sure that he didn't trust her yet. If anything, he'd probably enjoy it more if she left.
She then heard footsteps behind her, rolling her eyes, saying "Come on, Deku! I told you, you can't sneak up on me-"
Everything went dark. When she slowly started returning to consciousness, she recognized that she was in some sort of room. No windows though, like it was some kind of basement.
"You're awake. Good."
She froze. She slowly turned, seeing the man that the president of the HPSC warned her about.
Overhaul.
"Overhaul." She ground out.
The man just sat down, saying "You're such an interesting subject, you know that? A girl from a bloodline so powerful, you can make impenetrable coffins of blood. Your blood, is from someone considered a goddess among men. Imagine the information it holds."
Hisoka glared at him, saying "What do you want, Overhaul?! Besides the obvious desire to own the goddess of blood, it doesn't make sense! The League of Villains wants a weapon, but they have power. What do you have?"
Overhaul stared at her, ignoring her words as he said "You're cursed worse than all the others. A quirk that powerful shouldn't exist.... So I'm going to tear the blood out your body. I'm going to break down your power. I'm going to make you feel pain that you couldn't imagine. All, for the sake of my goals."
*Elsewhere....*
"Deku, Lemillion, have either of you heard from Stain?" Sir Nighteye asked.
"No, Sir." Mirio responded.
"Me neither.... Why? Do you think something happened?" Izuku asked.
".... Hisoka will turn up. If she's not here by tomorrow, then we can search. For now, though, tell me what you found." Sir Nighteye stated, appearing to brush over the issue.
"Sir," Izuku said, frowning. "With all do respect, Hisoka being missing isn't that simple. Hisoka would never just run off without warning. That's not-"
"Deku, she'll be fine."
Izuku narrowed his eyes. He just.... Didn't care. He didn't like that. Not one bit.
.
It was another few days before Hisoka was thrown into a room that isn't hers. She groans, feeling her quirk slowly heal her body as she looked up to meet the eyes of a terrified little girl.
".... Hi?" She said, putting a little space between them.
"H- hello." The girl mumbled out.
Hisoka blinked, before saying "I'm.... Not with Overhaul."
"W- who are you?"
"I'm.... You know what? I'm the hero, Stain. What about you, kiddo? What's your name?"
"Eri...."
Hisoka continued.so speak with the child, frowning. Okay, no need to panic. You're captured with no means of escape, and there's a hostage. What do you do?
Suddenly, Hisoka felt the ground shake, before a bunch of fighting was heard.
"Eri!" She shouted, lifting the girl into her arm.
