🎶 Addicted to You — Shakira 🎶When the international break was over, not only regular training resumed, but also my uni year started, dividing my days in three: mornings were for classes, afternoons were for work and nights were for studying. At first, this was a good distraction from not having to run into Kenan, but this luxury was over today. Our Next Gen team was playing against SPAL and I always went to Dean's games - I think I could count on one hand the ones I had missed.
When I was done at the JTC with work for the day, I drove down to Alessandria with my little Abarth as that was where our youth team played, roughly an hour east from Turin. I arrived just on time, fifteen minutes before kick-off and saw that both Kenan and Dean were starting. When the team walked out, I clapped and cheered, earning some glares from the other viewers, but I didn't care. Dean saw me and sent me a wave, which I reciprocated, however Kenan's glare at his teammate didn't go unnoticed to me. He was being so dramatic over nothing.
The game however, was a total disaster. We seemed to just barely be able to hold on to a 0-0 draw when the opponent shot a goal in the 90th minute. I buried my head in my hands and groaned - this was so frustrating. And the boys looked gloomy too as they walked back to the tunnel after the whistle, but I stood up and clapped for them, showing support no matter what result.
Then, I packed up my stuff and walked back outside to my car where I waited for my best friend. There was a team bus driving back to Turin, but I had agreed with Dean that I'd drive him back home, to spend some time together. But unfortunately he wasn't alone walking to my car and I cursed under my breath.
"I'm not a taxi" I huffed when my best friend came around with Kenan in tow.
"Come on, he lives just around the corner from mine" Dean tried to persuade me.
"And we just lost, I could need a little cheering up" Kenan added with a fake sad pout on his face."Urgh, whatever" I groaned, not wanting to make a scene. "But you're sitting in the back" I told him sternly and he just grinned amusedly. I had a three-door car only, so he had to climb back while Dean pulled his seat forward - they both were way too tall for this car, looking like canned sardines in it. Kenan sat down in the middle of the back bench and I started the engine.
Dean was in charge of the music and played his usual array of basic Spanish hits, which I already all knew by heart now. Suddenly, I pulled over at an Autogrill as it was late and I still hadn't eaten.
"Come on, I won't snitch" I chuckled and they both got out of my car too, Kenan having to tangle and twist himself out again. Dean and I went for our favourite Camogli sandwich, while our third wheel looked a bit lost.
"He'll have a simple piece of Margherita" I told the employee."That's always the easiest" he chuckled and I smiled. We took our orders and ate everything back in my car while I drove the rest of the journey back home at a comfortable 170km/h in the fast lane.
"I wouldn't have thought you'd allow eating in your car" Kenan commented.
"I can get it cleaned, enjoying this is way more important" I replied and held up my half-finished sandwich. We had fun, chatting and talking about nonsense, like normal kids our age, trying to forget for a few moments the pressure we all were constantly under.Dean's apartment building was up first and he thanked me before pressing a kiss on my cheek and leaving. Kenan obviously took the opportunity to get out of the crammed space in the back and sat down next to me.
"That's really nice of you to drive the detour up the hill" he said as I started my engine again.
"I'm staying at my parents' house tonight anyways, there's some sort of music festival in the city and traffic is limited" I replied and shrugged.
"Is your house as big as your uncle's?" he asked.
"Want to see it?" I asked with a smug grin, but immediately cursed myself on the inside. Why, why, why was I so stupid?"I'd never say no to that" he chuckled and I just shot him an overly fake smile before turning left and taking the road to my childhood home. We drove up an alleyway with nice villas left and right, before I slowed down a bit where our property started.
"See that little hole over there, behind the bushes?" I asked, now driving at walking speed and pointing to my right. "That's where I used to sneak in and out" I chuckled."I wouldn't have taken you as the bad girl" he commented and I shrugged.
"I wasn't really, but I fancied one of Dado's friends for two months and snuck out to their parties when I was still only 14" I admitted.
"Ouf, should I punish you?" he asked with a sultry voice, leaning closer to me.
"Ew, you're so gross" I grumbled, pushing his shoulder with one hand while I pulled up in my driveway."Fancy" he commented when he saw our villa.
"It's comfortable" I replied and shrugged as I opened up the main door. However, I felt my hip being grabbed to be turned around and pushed against it as soon as we had gotten inside. Kenan was hovering from above, looking down at my face, our inches mere millimetres apart.
"So you won't go out with me but you invite me to your house, you're being really classy" he spoke quietly, his nose tip tracing my cheek and then going down my neck, pressing sweet kisses on it along his way.I couldn't give him an answer because I didn't have one, nothing I did when he was around me made sense, he was driving me insane, in a good way but also in an - for me - irrational way. My hands moved to the back of his head and gripped his hair to pull him away from my neck and onto my lips. He was such a good kisser, gaining dominance in a matter of seconds, which made me moan into his mouth. His hands ran up and down my sides and I let my bag slip out of my hand and fall onto the floor.
But the thud of it hitting the ground made me startle and we pulled away again, catching both our breaths.
"How about... a house tour?" I asked nervously and just walked ahead without waiting for an answer. I showed him through our huge kitchen, the living room and the dining room, before I opened the door to my father's office."Let me see if I can still find it" I giggled as I pushed some books aside until I found what I was looking for.
"What the hell, Bibi!" he shouted when he saw the small plastic bag with the white powder.
"Chill, I never tried it and no one in my family does this, but Dad likes to put his business partners in a good mood before cutting some deals" I chuckled.
"This isn't funny" he said sternly.
"Oh, come on. Way more people do it than you would think. Your coach at every Christmas party for example" I replied and he raised his eyebrows."I already told you I'm a good girl" I whispered as I pushed past him, making my fingers run over his chest. Then, I took the stairs and hesitated in front of the first door on the left.
"That's your brother's room" Kenan said behind me, putting his hand on my arm as I nodded. I decided to open it and it was just exactly like he had left it before leaving for Mykonos. I still remember sitting here on his bed and helping him choose what shirts to bring or not."Here's my stack of souvenirs" I said as I opened up one of the closets with a shelf with a few t-shirts and some stupid classic fridge magnets that I had bought on my trips throughout the last year.
"Damn, he was handsome. Did he have a girlfriend?" Kenan asked when he saw a picture of me and him snapped at his 18th birthday. I rolled my eyes, this was such a classic guy question.
"He actually wanted to become a priest, he was studying theology" I replied and his face turned quickly towards me."Really? Wow..." he mumbled and put the picture back down.
"Come on, my room is next" I said and winked, changing the topic because I didn't want to start the religion talk with him. He followed me with a grin on his face, but that fell when he saw my room.
"I'm shocked" he commented when he saw the simple white walls, not many pictures, not many decorations. The only thing on my nightstand was a framed photo of my godmother and me."This looks like an OR, all so... sterile" he said and I threw myself onto my bed.
"My flat is nicer" I just replied and propped myself up on my elbows, biting my lip. "I never had a boy here..." I mumbled and he slowly came closer, crawling onto the bed.
"I feel honoured" he replied and looked at me, as he waited for me to kiss him, just to be able to not let me live down to it that I wanted him just as badly.I pulled him closer and pressed our lips onto each other's as he hovered over me.
"Kenan..." I mumbled against the kiss.
"Mhm" he hummed as we continued making out.
"I... This... It can't be serious" I whispered and I could feel him grin.
"I'll take whatever you give me and prove to you that you won't be able to live without me" he replied, tracing his nose behind my ear.
"Cocky much?" I asked as we pulled away.
"Nope, just madly in love" he replied and grinned, making me grimace.
"Urgh, come on, I'll show you the guest room" I said and stood up. No chance I was going to let him sleep here, I wouldn't be able to resist him putting a baby into me.
