bborromeo1 🥰❤️ stellina ⭐️Derby day. I remember watching the game since I had been a kid, first with my family, then later on with Dean and my brother when my parents moved away and now, it was me alone in the stands, watching as my best friend warmed up with Kenan, as they had both been called up, which was a big thing for them. Unfortunately, I wasn't really alone though, as I was sitting in the VIP box with our board, and President Gianluca was always buzzing around me, not able to shut up apparently.
The first half ended goalless and my heart was beating fast, it was the derby at our home stadium and winning was a necessity. Gatti finally opened the score shortly into the second half and I sprang up from my seat, screaming and cheering for the team. I also saw Kenan on the sidelines celebrating and my eyes couldn't seem to move away from him, his smile, the twinkle in his eyes, his body, his muscles.
But the game went on and I had to look away at some point, just in time to see our second goal of the evening, delivered by Milik. It was a good lead with a solid display, I was happy. My mood soared up even higher when I saw Kenan getting ready to be subbed in - and I made sure not to miss the moment he switched from the training shirt to the jersey, some seconds of seeing him shirtless was enough to make my mouth water and my underwear wet. This guy had such a hold on me, I couldn't quite believe it myself. The game ended after a total of 97 minutes with a win on our side and I was ecstatic.
The team stayed and applauded for the fans while I looked down at them proudly. This was my team, this was my heritage and this was my future. A huge responsibility laid on my shoulders but I was up for it, I was determined to write my name into the history books of this club. For me, it was home.
After quickly saying goodbye to everyone in the box, I walked back to my car, ready to drive back home and then head to the small gathering the Italian players were going to hold after this well-deserved win. It didn't take me long to arrive there, at most Juve players' favourite spot, One Apple. Some girlfriends had already gotten there and I made my way over to them.
"Kenan is coming too" Lucy tried to say casually as she looked at her phone, but I knew that she just wanted to get a reaction out of me.
"I'd be surprised if he didn't cling onto Dean's ass for once" I huffed and ordered a Negroni.
"You'd be a cute couple" Giulia chimed in and I just rolled my eyes, not bothering to comment because they'd just continue their questioning.Thankfully, Chiesa and Fagioli arrived now and I made sure to greet and congratulate them, giving a few words of positive resonance about the game, to make them both feel valued. More guys arrived and time passed easily, until also Dean and Kenan arrived.
I hugged my best friend tightly, burying my head in his chest. "Your time will come" I told him, as he was still waiting for his Serie A debut.
"I know, but today is about winning" he replied and smiled."I'll be there for you tomorrow" I said - the NextGen team was playing against Sestri Levante, and even though it was a two and a half-hour drive from Turin, and then back again, I wasn't going to miss it for the world.
"Thanks, Bea" he replied sincerely before putting his arm on my shoulder and walking with me to the bar to order another cocktail for me.My eyes wandered across the room as I was waiting for the barkeeper to mix it, when my eyes crossed with Kenan's and I automatically shot him a warm smile. When my drink was ready and with Dean now involved in a heavy discussion with Cambiaso about some new Adidas boots, I made my way over to Kenan who involuntarily had gotten dragged into a make-up talk with some of the girlfriends.
"Hey" I said as I tapped his shoulder and he turned around to me.
"Hey" he replied and smiled.
"Congrats on your call-up, senior national team, that's... wow!" I chuckled and put my hand on his arm.
"I doubt I'll get much play time but it will be a cool experience nonetheless" he said and shrugged.
"Everyone has to start somewhere and you're still only 18" I encouraged him."Is it sexy that I'm younger than you?" he asked as he leaned in a bit and I swatted him away.
"It's one year and I'm more mature than a 30-year-old anyways, so it doesn't make much of a difference to me" I joked.
"Yeah you have to loosen up a bit, that's where I come into play" he chuckled and I had to laugh."When's your birthday?" he asked.
"Surprised you didn't find that out by stalking me" I replied and shot him a fun glare. "April 15th"
"15! Like my jersey number!" he exclaimed and I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, I got born exactly on the date you would once have your jersey number" I said sarcastically.
"I'll use it for this international break too, then. I'll send you a shirt" he said and pinched my cheek.
"You're being overly romantic" I said, but couldn't hide a smile as I looked at the ground."Want to get out of here?" I asked and nodded at the door.
"With you, I'd even walk to China" he replied and grinned, making me roll his eyes at his flirty comments. I took my light jacket and waved at all of those I could reach with some eye contact before walking ahead. The girls were definitely going to comment on this the next time they saw me."Turin is so beautiful" I sighed as we aimlessly wandered through the streets.
"I've seen a lot of it now, but I have the feeling that I don't know it..." he replied as he looked at the old buildings.
"Then I'll be your personal tour guide. Did you know why there are so many arcades?" I asked as I pointed up at where we were walking below.
"It looks pretty?" he asked confusedly and laughed, just like me.
"Yeah, that too. They were built for King Vittorio Emanuele I so that he could take his walks without getting wet in the rain" I chuckled."Sounds like something your family would do too" he teased me.
"Nah, we're down-to-earth" I chuckled and he raised an eyebrow. "Really! Have you ever noticed me boasting?" I asked.
"You're right, but you're still different from other girls your age" he replied.
"Well, I would hope so! Who wants to be the same just like everybody else?" I asked.
"And then you wonder why I've fallen in love with you" he chuckled and I stopped, him doing the same."Stop saying this stuff" I mumbled quietly.
"No. And I won't stop until you fall for me to - that is, if you haven't already and are just denying it to yourself" he chuckled.
"Urgh, you are infuriating!" I shouted and stomped ahead. The tension faded quickly though and I resumed talking about architecture and sights while we continued strolling through the city. He insisted on walking me home and when we had arrived at my building we both turned to each other in an awkward silence."So... I guess I'll see you again in two weeks?" he asked and I nodded. "I'll send you the jersey, maybe you'll even show up to one of my games" he chuckled amusedly.
"Yeah, keep on dreaming" I huffed and patted his chest before turning the key and walking inside, leaving him standing there with a dreamy smile that followed me until I was out of sight for him.
