Kiara:Isabella misses me

Context:Kiara got hit by a car and she went into a coma after her surgery and a 15 year old girl she saved misses her. (This is what Kiara hears while she's in her coma) Kiara thoughts will be in italics.

"Kie I braided your hair it looks really cute." Isabella said. "Visiting hours are almost up did you want me to get her parents?" The nurse said. "Yea I have to go to the bathroom anyways." Isabella said. The nurse went to go get Anna and Mike while Isabella went to the bathroom. "Kie your hair looks great Bella's been doing good job at keeping up with it." Anna said. "I don't know if you can hear me but Bella misses you we hear her cry every night. I know she's not your daughter but she's still apart of the family." Mike said. "Yea yesterday at school she got an A+ on her English paper she wrote about how a mother figure doesn't have to be biological. She mentioned you in every paragraph and her teacher loved it so much she's submitting it into the awards ceremony where she can get a full ride scholarship for college. I hope you're awake so you can see her win." Anna said. "Hey Bells you ok you've been in the bathroom for a while." Mike called out. "My stomach really hurts." Isabella said. "Is everything ok in here?" A nurse asked. "Her stomach hurts she's been in the bathroom for like ten minutes." Mike said. "Isabella are you ok?" The nurse asked. "My stomach hurts really bad." Isabella said. "Can I come in and take a look?" The nurse asked. Isabella didn't answer so the nurse opened the door to the bathroom and saw Isabella holding her stomach in pain. "On a scale of one to—" The nurse said but got cutoff by Isabella. "Ten it feels worse than my period cramps." Isabella said. The nurse examined Isabella and said she had appendicitis. "Does that mean I'm gonna have surgery?" Isabella said. "Yes but it's an easy procedure." The nurse said. The nurse took Isabella out of the room in a wheelchair while Anna and Mike stayed with Kiara.

I should be there for Bella I don't why I'm not awake I've been ready for the past two weeks. She's literally having her first procedure and I'm not there what if something happens and she needs me. I need to wake up why am I not awake.

The next day
"Hey you look better than yesterday." Anna said. "I feel a little better I wish mom was here." Isabella said. "I know but the doctor told me she's off the ventilator now." Anna said. "That's good so she should be waking up soon right?" Isabella said. "Yea hopefully by the end of this week so she can you at the award ceremony." Anna said. "Speaking of award ceremony do you want your mom's friends to go?" Mike said. "Yea that's fine." Isabella said. "Ok I'll let them know." Mike said. "Can I see mom?" Isabella said. "A nurse has to take you." Anna said. "Oh can I have some water then?" Isabella said. "Here I brought your water bottle so it'll stay cold all day?" Anna said. "Thanks" Isabella said. "Hey Bella you ready to see Kiara?" A nurse said a she rolled in with a wheelchair. "Yea but I can't really move." Isabella said. "I'll help you." The nurse said. The nurse helped Isabella into the wheelchair and she wheeled her into Kiara's room. "I'll be outside doing some paperwork roll to the door when you'rere ready to go back to your room." The nurse said. "Ok thank you." Isabella said.

"Hey mom I had my surgery yesterday it went good trust me Grandma made sure of it. But now I have to spend my sweet 16 in the hospital but I should be out in time to take my drivers test." Isabella said. "I know your not awake yet but when I pass I'll tell you and for the awards ceremony you have to wear pink since it's my favorite and Mrs Sanders wants everyone who is going to wear pink to support me." Isabella said. "And all of your cuts healed nicely there's no scars except where they stitched up your arm but it's not bad." Isabella said. "I really need you to give me a sign that you can hear me. I feel dumb talking to you if you can't." Isabella said. Isabella thought of a sign that Kiara should give her if she's been listening. "Ok if you've been listening and you wake up in time for the awards ceremony wear the pink dress I laid out on your bed with your white sandals and you hair has to be half up half down since that's what I'm doing." Isabella said. "Ok half up half down that's easy. What pink dress I don't have a pink dress." Kiara said. "Mom I gotta go but I'll come by later if they let me I love you." Isabella said. "You ready to roll back to your room?" The nurse said. "Yea" Isabella said. The nurse took Isabella back to her room and then she saw Anna and Mike sitting in there. "Hey how you feeling?" Mike said. "Ok I just really miss Kie." Isabella said. "I do too and you know we don't care that you call her mom right." Anna said. "Oh I thought you guys did." Isabella said. "We don't we never did." Anna said. "Here I got you something for your birthday I know it's a little early but your mom got it for you before everything happened." Mike said as he handed Isabella a box. Isabella opened the box and it was wristlet with a car key on it. "Oh my god I got a car what does it look like?" Isabella said. Anna showed Isabella the car and she screamed. "She got me the car I've been saving up for." Isabella cried. Isabella looked at the note Kiara left for her in the box and she cried even more. "Bella you ok?" Anna asked. "I just want her here." Isabella sobbed. "I know baby I know." Anna said as she hugged Isabella. Isabella sobbed for five minutes and then Mike and Anna left for the night. Isabella just laid in bed and cried until she fell asleep.

The day of the award ceremony
"This was a beautiful paper I cried reading this." A judge said. "Yea it's a tear jerker." Isabella said. "So we wanted to congratulate you on winning the full ride scholarship to any school you chose." The judge said. Isabella cheered and the other girls who were next to her hugged her. The girls walked off of the stage and as Isabella was walking off she saw Anna and Mike waiting for her. "Ok where do you want to go celebrate?" Mike said. "I want to go see mom first." Isabella said. "We can't go see mom right now." Anna said. "Why did something happen?" Isabella said. "Nothing happened to me Belly." Kiara said as she wrapped her arms around Isabella. "Mom" Isabella said. Isabella hugged Kiara and she noticed she was wearing the same pink dress as her and her hair was the exact same. "You could hear me the entire time?" Isabella hiccuped. "Yea." Kiara said. Isabella was going to say something back but she could because she started to get dizzy. "Belly lets sit down." Kiara said. "Blurr." Isabella said as she passed out. Kiara tried to catch her but she wasn't fast enough. "Belly can you hear me?" Kiara said. "She's bleeding." Kiara said. "We called for an ambulance." A lady said. Kiara used her jacket to help with some of the bleeding. "Belly I know you can hear me please hang on." Kiara cried. The paramedics came and they took Isabella to the hospital. Kiara rode with them and just sat in silence while the paramedics did their thing. Kiara was sitting in the waiting room when someone came and sat next to her. "Kie how is she?" The person sitting next to her said. "Sarah why are you... she's in the OR her stitches from her surgery busted and they want to see if they actually removed it." Kiara said. "I'm here because you just woke up out of a coma." Sarah said. "Well you didn't visit." Kiara said. "We were on a break and I did visit I just never talked." Sarah said. "Why wouldn't you talk to me?" Kiara said. "Because I didn't know how to say what I wanted to say." Sarah said. "Well say it now since I'm awake." Kiara said. "I love you like more than I loved John B and Topper. I couldn't say that to you while you were in your coma because I didn't want you to die hearing my voice over and over I wanted you to hear Bella's and your parents voices." Sarah said. "Sarah I already know you love me like that we were on break when all of this happened. It's not your fault that I went into a coma I know that's what you're thinking." Kiara said. "I wasn't thinking that I..." Sarah said but was cut off by Kiara kissing her. "Sorry to interrupt but Isabella is ready to be seen she's still a little groggy." A nurse said. Kiara and Sarah went with the nurse to Isabella's room. "Mom look I got a pink bandaid." Isabella slurred. "It's cool. How are you feeling?" Kiara said. "I don't know." Isabella slurred. Kiara went over and sat by Isabella. "Are you and Sarah back together?" Isabella asked. "Yea we are." Sarah said. "Yea can I sleep now?" Isabella said. "You don't have to ask to sleep baby." Kiara said. Isabella just laid down while Kiara and Sarah said good night and left. "You know when you were in your coma I wrote you letters." Sarah said. "Awww thats so sweet." Kiara said. "Yea but I'm glad Isabella calls you mom now she's been saying it around her friends all the time." Sarah said. Kiara and Sarah went inside and Kiara saw what Sarah had done with her room. "You were gonna ask me to marry you?" Kiara said. "Yea but then you got into the accident and I know we were on a break but I was gonna ask you anyways." Sarah said. Kiara kissed Sarah and things got a little heated. "You still didn't answer my question." Sarah said m. "Yes I'll marry you." Kiara said. "So we can go to the courthouse when Bella's better?" Sarah asked. "Sure" Kiara said. Kiara and Sarah went to sleep for the night and Isabella was sleeping at the hospital.
