Samantha and Cadence have been dating since Samantha's freshman year and Cadence's sophomore year. Ever since they've been dating Cadence's parents have been talking about sending Cadence away to a conversion camp. Sam's older sister Breanna who she now lives with ever since she came out heard and she's been trying to get Cadence to stay with them. Today is the last day Samantha and Cadence are going to see each other so they're spending every minute of it together. "Bre I'm leaving I'll see you later." Samantha said. "Ok I'll see you later and give this to Cadence." Bre said as she handed Samantha a letter. "I will. Love you." Samatha said. Samantha drove to Cadence's house and she saw Cadence sitting on the front porch. "Cady why are you sitting out here without a coat it's freezing." Samantha said as she gave Cadence her coat. "You know how my parents were going to send me to a conversion camp." Cadence said as she zipped Samantha's coat. "Yea. Do they actually support you?" Samantha said. "No they don't. They agreed that I could sign that paper that says I'm on my own. I signed it and my parents kicked me out." Cadence said. "Where are your things?" Samantha said. "In my car. But they took my phone even though I've been paying for it for the past year." Cadence said. "Here's your stupid phone." Cadences dad said as he threw the phone at Cadences head. "Oww asshole." Cadence said. "What did you call me?" Cadences dad said as he grabbed Cadence by her neck. "Put her down." Samantha said as she sprayed her pepper spray. "Ahhh my eyes you stupid. What the hell is this stuff." Cadences said as he dropped Cadence. Cadence grabbed her phone and ran to her car. "Get back here I'm not done with you two." Cadences dad yelled. Cadence and Samantha raced off and went back to Samantha's house. Cadence pulled up and she saw Bre outside on the porch. "Cady your neck." Bre said as she saw Cadences neck. Cadence got out of her car, walked to the porch, and hugged Bre. "It's ok I'm here." Bre whispered as she sat on the porch with Cadence. "Bre we need to go inside Cadences dad chocked her." Samantha said. "He what oh hell no. Cady baby are you hurt?" Bre said. Cadence pointed to her neck and then her knee. "Did he drop you?" Bre said. Cadence shook her head as she wiped her face. "You want to go to the emergency room your neck is really red." Bre said. "Yea" Cadence said very horsed. Samantha was inside grabbing another coat when she saw Bre struggling to carry Cadence. "I got her." Samantha said as she picked Cadence up. Samantha put Cadence in Bres car and buckled her in. Bre was inside grabbing an ice pack when she heard yelling coming from outside. A bunch of the neighbors heard the yelling so they went outside to see what was going on and they saw Cadences dad kicking Samantha. One of the neighbors came over and punched Cadences dad but that only made him more angry. Cadence tried to help Samantha up but she couldn't because her knee was hurting her. "Hit my sister again and I will shoot you." Bre said as she walked outside with her gun. "You're gonna shoot me yea right." Cadences dad said. Bre was about to shoot him when the police showed up. "Ma'am put the gun down." Bre put the gun down and put her hands up. "Officer she threatened me with her gun you have to arrest her." Cadences dad said. "No she didn't she was defending her sister." A neighbor said. Another police officer went up to Bre and behind him he saw that she had a ring doorbell camera so he asked her if she could send him the footage. "Cady you know I love you right." Samantha chocked out. "I love you to just hang on Sammy." Cadence said. Cadence was squeezing Samantha's hand when the paramedics finally showed up. Cadence went with Samatha to the hospital while Bre talked the police officers.

Once Samantha got to the hospital Cadence sat out in the waiting room until a nurse noticed her swaying back and forth at the vending machine. "Honey are you ok?" The nurse said. Cadence looked at the nurse and she fell into her arms. "Woah I got you. I need a gurney." The nurse said. No one brought the nurse a gurney so she picked Cadence up and carried her to an empty room. Once Cadence was placed into an empty room other nurses started helping and they found her phone that had a picture of her and Samantha on the back of it. "Her name is Cadence Rowels and she's 17." A nurse said as she read Cadence's drivers license. The nurses helped Cadence and the nurse who found her waited with her until someone came to see her. "Cady what happened to her?" Samantha said as she was wheeled into the room by her Bre. "She passed out in the hallway but she should be ok." The nurse said. "Her knee." Bre said. "She fractured it and her vocal cords are a little strained." The nurse said. Samantha rolled herself over to Cadence and she kissed her hand. "Cady wake up please." Samantha cried. "I'll give you guys a minute." The nurse said as she shut the door. The nurse had motioned for Bre to come with her as well and she did. "I'm not sure if you're taking care of both of them but we tested Cadences blood and she's pregnant." The nurse said. "How far along is she?" Bre asked. "She's seven months but you couldn't tell her baby is extremely healthy but when she wakes up I would keep her on bed rest but her doctor can give you more detail." The nurse said. "Bre she's throwing up." Samantha yelled. The nurse and Bre went back into the room and the nurse called for team to help her. "You two have to leave." The nurse said. Samantha wheeled herself out of the room and went back to her room. Bre stayed with Samantha for the night and waited until she heard any updates about Cadence. Bre went to check on Cadence and she saw Samantha sitting with her. "Hey lovebirds." Bre said. "Hey" Samantha said. "Am I allowed to go home with you." Cadence said. "Yea I signed the papers that the social worker brought." Bre said. "Are you mad I'm pregnant?" Cadence said. "No Cady I'm not. But do you know who the father is?" Samantha said. "It's some kid from school he took to his house and then he you know." Cadence said. Samantha hugged Cadence and she rubbed her back. "That feels good do it again." Cadence said. Samantha rubbed Cadences back again and she started to feel less tense. Cadence got up and she went to the bathroom. "Oh my god she's hot." Samantha whispered. "I heard that." Cadence said. Samantha and Bre started laughing when the doctor came into the room. "How are we feeling?" The doctor said. "Better than yesterday but this kid is dancing on my bladder." Cadence said. "Well we have some good news for the both of you." The doctor said. "What is it?" Cadence said. "You both can go home today and in this envelope is the gender of your baby." The doctor said. The girls were excited to go home so they quickly put their clothes on and then Samantha wheeled Cadence out. Samantha helped Cadence into the car and then she got in. Bre drove home and made sure the girls were comfortable. "I'll make you guys something to eat I'll be back." Bre said. Bre walked out of Samantha's room and went to make the girls something to eat. Once she finished their food she brought it upstairs and once she opened the door she saw the girls sleeping on top of each other. Bre put a blanket over them and then left the room.
