Outerbanks couple oneshots

Kiara:The twins take care of Kie

Context:Kiara took in their a set of twin girls named Isabella and Zoey (who are 16). Anyways Kiara is sick and the twins are taking care of her. The twins also have their CNA licenses so they are in school to become nurses. Kiara is 22.

"Mom you need to leave this towel on your head for ten more minutes." Zoey said. "I will I'm just cold." Kiara said. "Leave it on your head. I'll get the thermometer." Isabella said. Isabella went to get the thermometer while Zoey stayed with Kiara. Isabella came back with the thermometer and took Kiara's temperature. "100.3. That's better than before. Do you want something to eat?" Isabella said. "No" Kiara said. "Ok get some sleep and we will check on you in a little bit." Zoey said. Kiara just rolled over to her side and the girls just put a blanket over her. Isabella and Zoey went to their rooms and they just waited for Kiara to call for them. "You think moms ok she's been sleeping for a while." Zoey said. "I don't know I'm gonna go check on her. But I think you should make her something to eat." Isabella said. Zoey and Isabella went downstairs to check on Kiara and make her food. "Mom you gotta get up now. You need to shower and take your medicine." Isabella said as she shook Kiara. "Mom's not waking up maybe she's pretending. Zozo come wake mom up." Isabella said. Zoey went over and did the same thing as Isabella. "Mom. Kiara if you're joking around this isn't..." Zoey was saying but Isabella cut her off. "The cough syrup and Tylenol she took it all. Call 911 I'm gonna start cpr." Isabella said. Zoey went upstairs to get her phone. Isabella on the other hand had moved Kiara onto the floor and started CPR. "Come on. You have to wake up we cannot go back to foster care." Isabella said as she was doing CPR. Zoey had came downstairs and switched with Isabella. "The operator said to keep doing CPR until the paramedics arrive." Zoey said. When the paramedics arrived Zoey went along and Isabella drove their car. Zoey was sitting in the waiting room when Isabella found her. "Is she ok?" Isabella asked. "She's alive but they think she drank a bunch of the medicine to try and kill herself. But I told them how horrible she was feeling and how she's been feeling like this for about two weeks. So now we aren't aloud to see her." Zoey said. "We aren't aloud to... why do you have blood on your hands?" Isabella said. "I was going to take a breather outside when I saw this little girl holding her stomach and bleeding. I was putting pressure on her wound." Zoey said. "How about we go to the bathroom and wash your hands." Isabella said. Isabella and Zoey went to the bathroom and Zoey washed her hands. When Zoey finished washing her hands they both went back to the waiting room. "Look I'm not suppose to do this but you guys can see Kiara." A nurse said as she came up to Zoey and Isabella. "Really? You won't get in trouble right." Isabella said. "I probably will but you guys deserve to see her." The nurse said. The nurse let them in and they saw Kiara lying in the bed twiddling her thumbs. The girls went up to Kiara and gave her a hug. "Hey" Kiara said. "How are you feeling?" Zoey said. "Better. Thank you guys for saving me. But you guys can't stay with me anymore." Kiara said. "What do you mean we can't stay with you. You're our new mom we need you." Zoey said. "The doctors want to send me to a psych ward since I took all that medicine and they think I'm suicidal but I'm not I just wanted to not feel sick anymore. I'm sorry you guys have to be placed with another family." Kiara said. "It's not your fault Mom..." Isabella said but was cutoff by a doctor. "You two can't be in here I'm calling security." The doctor said as he saw Zoey and Isabella. The girls went into Kiara's bathroom and they locked the door. "You're making them feel scared please stop." Kiara said. "What do you know you've been their 'mom' for like a month. I know that they're pretending so they don't have to leave you." The doctor said. "I've been there mom for two years and I know hearing and having people chase them makes them scared out of their minds. I know that they came to visit me so they could hear my side of the story. So you can't take them away from me." Kiara said. "Legally we can because you don't have any documentation proving that these are your foster kids so say bye-bye to your kids." The doctor said. "Are you sure you want me to remove those girls they saved another little girl who was outside bleeding." The security officer said. "Get them out of here." The doctor said. The security officer knocked on the bathroom door and Isabella opened the door and slammed it into the officers face. Zoey grabbed Isabella's hand and ran. "What about Mom and that little girl." Isabella said. "Mom knows she should be out here soon." Zoey said. Zoey and Isabella were hiding in a bush when the little girl from earlier and Kiara appeared. "What's the plan here because she's knocked out on pain pills." Kiara said. "We get in the car, go home, pack bags, and run." Isabella said. "What about her doesn't she have a family." Kiara said. "Her family did that to her she isn't going back with them." Zoey said. "Ok just go get the car." Kiara said. Isabella went to get the car while Zoey took the little girl out of Kiara's arms. "Mommy" The little girl said as she woke up. The little girl looked at Kiara so Kiara grabbed her and hugged her. Isabella came back with the care and everyone got in. "Mommy can I have a snack?" The little girl said. "I'll get you a snack when we get home." Kiara said. "Her name's Kyleigh she's seven." Zoey said. "Do we have to run away I don't feel like it." Zoey said. "Well we can at least take care of Kyleigh and Mom until social services comes for us." Isabella said as she parked the car. Kiara carried Kyleigh inside while Zoey and Isabella just went inside. "We have chips or fruit what snack do you want?" Kiara said. "Fruit" Kyleigh said. Kiara grabbed Kyleigh her fruit and as she was grabbing it she heard a knock at the door. Zoey said who is it and then she opened the door. "Alright you three are coming with me." A man said. "Mommy" Kyleigh said. Isabella grabbed Kyleigh and took the fruit Kiara gave to her. "Thank you." Kyleigh whispered. Isabella carried Kyleigh out while Zoey just walked out. "You'll get them back when you can prove that you can take care of children and a social worker gives you an all clear." The man said. The girls left with the man while Kiara called her parents. "Mom I need your help." Kiara cried.
