Kiara:Dear ___

Context:Kiara had a daughter at 16 and she decided it would be best to put her up for adoption until she was five years old. Kiara who's now 23 and her daughter who's seven is still not back in her custody. But her daughter found some things Kiara left for her. Kiara's daughter name is Samantha but she goes by Sam.

"Woah my real mommy left me something." Sam said. Sam grabbed the pink box and took it to her room. Sam shut the door and she noticed it was a little loud so she quickly put the pink box in her closet and went to lay down in her bed. "Samantha what have I told you about slamming that damn door." Sam's foster mom yelled as she walked up the stairs. "And why is my room door open? Were you snooping in my room?" Sam's foster mom said as she opened the door. "I was looking for Larry my stuff dinosaur." Sam said in a shaky tone. "Larry? That dumbass weighted thing your bitch of a real mom gave you. I threw him away." Sam's foster mom said. "Why would you do that? She spent a lot of money on him." Sam said. "Well he's ugly and dirty so I threw him away." Sam's foster mom said. "When did you throw him away?" Sam said. Sam started to get up so she could go downstairs and look in the trash when her foster mom stopped her. "Let me go I'm going to find Larry." Sam said as she hit her foster mom. "Samantha" Sam's foster mom said as she lifted her off of the ground. "Put me down." Sam said. Sam's foster mom let her go and watched as Sam fell onto the ground. "You want your dumb dinosaur." Sam's foster mom said as she walked out of the room. Then she came back in and threw Larry at Sam. "Here's your damn dinosaur if I catch you snooping around in my room again Larry will be dead do you understand me." Sam's foster mom said. Sam didn't answer since was crying because she hit her head on the ground after she got dropped. "I said do you understand me." Sam's foster mom said as she kicked Sam in the chest. "Yes" Sam cried. "Good now I'm going to be gone for a few days so make sure you clean the house and I left you some money for food on the counter." Sam's foster mom said. Sam didn't say anything so her foster mom just left. "Bye Sam I'll see you in a week." Her voices echoed as she shut the front door. Sam crawled over to her closet and grabbed the pink box she had found earlier. "Woah her names Kiara that's so cool. And she's now 23 since she had me at 16. I gotta find a phone." Sam said. Sam got up and went into her foster mom's room and saw the backup phone her foster mom would leave for her. Sam took the phone back and called the number that was left on the letter. "Please pick up." Sam said. There was no answer so Sam left a voicemail. After she hung up the phone she started to pack a bag. Sam grabbed clothes,her toothbrush, an extra pair of shoes, as well as her inhaler and EpiPen. She then went downstairs and put the money her foster mom gave her into her wallet and grabbed a bunch of snacks. She also packed the portable charger her mom would use for whenever the power went out and the charger for the backup phone. "I forgot Larry and the box." Sam said as she went back to her room. Sam grabbed the box and put it in a plastic bag and then she grabbed Larry and placed him inside the bag as well. Then she went on her journey to find Kiara.

Dear Sammy
I know that I'm your real mom and that I should be taking care of you but I can't. I don't have enough money to take care of you right now so I'm waiting till I graduate college to come back for you which should be when I'm 21 since I'm head for school. Here's my number xxx-xxx-xxxx and a few places you might find me at. These are my parents and where they work. And this is what I look like. Here's my address as of right now 1420 Kildare street. "1420 Kildare street here I come." Sam said to herself. Sam used the GPS on the phone and walked all the way there. She did take a few breaks since her head was really hurting, and she got herself food and water, and went to the bathroom. "Almost there" Sam said as she checked the GPS which said two minutes left. Once Sam saw the driveway she immediately just stood there. Sam was admiring the house when she heard someone say "Where are your parents?" "My real mommy lives here. Sam said. Sam put the plastic bag down and grabbed the letter Kiara wrote. "See she told she me lives here." Sam said. "Sarah what's going on?" A voice said. "Mommy?" Sam said. "Nothing just go back inside." Sarah said. "I'm coming to look." The voice said. Sam moved past Sarah and ran up to the woman who was walking over. "Your my real Mommy I have your letter and the box you left me and and..." Sam was saying then she stopped. "Kie is that her?" Sarah said. "Yea it is but she looks sick." Kiara said. "Take her inside and I'll call CPS." Sarah said. Kiara picked Sam up and as she picked Sam up she noticed Sam was freaking out. "Let me go you're gonna drop me just like she does." Sam cried. "Who dropped you Sammy?" Kiara said. "My foster mom she dropped me earlier this morning. I was looking for Larry my dinosaur and then she got mad at me and dropped me on the floor. She's really tall so I hit my head and then she kicked me when I wouldn't answer her." Sam said. "Her head is swollen in the back a little bit. Do you want to take her to the emergency room?" Sarah said. "Yea but I want to get her into some clean clothes." Kiara said. Kiara tried to pick Sam up again but Sam said no so she just held her hand and went inside. As they were walking inside Sam started gagging. "Oh crap Kie" Sarah said. Kiara grabbed the plastic bag that had the pink box and Larry in it dumped everything out and held it in front of Sam. Sam threw up into the bag and coughed a whole bunch. "It must be from her head we need to take her to hospital." Sarah said. "Mommy I feel funny." Sam said. Sarah grabbed Sam as she passed out and then they both went to the car. "I got the keys." Kiara said. Kiara opened unlocked the car door and then went back to the porch to grab the stuff she dumped out of Sam's bag. "I got her stuff maybe her foster mom put her information in here." Kiara said. Kiara drove to the hospital and went inside. They got checked in and sent to a room. "Please be ok." Kiara whispered. "Honey she'll be ok." Sarah said. "Will she did you see her clothes and her hair. And her arms have bruises on them. Bruises Sarah I should've tried harder to get her back. I should've said when I turned 18 at least I would've had you to help me." Kiara said. "You didn't know she would get placed with a bad mom. It's not your fault." Sarah said. "Ok where is she I'm suppose to be a plane going to Orlando but now I find out my foster kid walked all the way to Kildare to find you. You're the reason she won't listen to me I've tried everything so I thought leaving her home alone for a week would do the thing. But now I found out it was to see you and your wife." Sam's foster mom said as she went up to the front desk. "Ma'am your foster daughter is seven years old she can't be left home alone for a week." The front desk lady said. The front desk lady had secretly called the police so they came and had already talked with Sam. They also found out that Sam was suppose to be living with Kiara two years ago but her foster mom wouldn't let her. Kiara and Sarah now have full custody of Sam and the police were done with her they sent them to go see her.

"Mommy" Sam said. "Hey baby girl how are you feeling?" Kiara said as she went to sit next Sam. "Hungry I tired to get food on the way to your house but I couldn't order French fries since I got scared so I left." Sam said. "You didn't eat anything on the way?" Kiara said. "From what she told me she was too scared to spend the money Michelle gave her. She didn't want to get hit if she spent too much of it." The officer said. "We'll get you something to eat. Do you want French fries or something else?" Kiara said. "I don't know." Sam said. "How about I surprise you while you sit here with mommy." Sarah said. "Ok you're gonna come back right?" Sam said. "I'll be back I promise." Sarah said. The officer left with Sarah and Sam climbed on top of Kiara. "Hey I'm not a jungle gym Sammy." Kiara said as she grabbed Sam off of her shoulders. "I like it up there it makes me feel tall." Sam said as she sat down. Sam started to look at Kiara and then she looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. "What do you baby?" Kiara said. "I look a lot like you. How come I look like you and not the other lady too?" Sam said. "Well I carried you in my belly and she didn't so you're going to look more like me than her." Kiara said. "Oh is she a Mommy too?" Sam said. "She doesn't have her own kid so she isn't a mommy like me." Kiara said. "Can she be my second mommy?" Sam asked. "If you want her to be." Kiara said. "I do." Sam said. Sam grabbed a piece of paper and wrote will you be my second mommy and two boxes that say yes or no. Sarah came back with Sam's food and she saw the piece of paper. Sam was eating the burger Sarah got her from the wreck. "I'm done can I eat the rest later?" Sam said. "Yea do you want me to put it back in the box?" Kiara said. "Yes please." Sam said. Kiara put Sam's food in the box it came in and as she tied the bag shut she saw Sam walk to the bathroom. "Sammy you ok baby?" Kiara asked. Sarah went into the bathroom and saw Sam puking into the toilet. "Babe can you get Sammy a cup of water." Sarah said as she held Sam's hair back. Kiara got Sam a cup of water and she gave it to her. "It's red I'll call the doctor." Kiara said. Kiara was going to get up and press the call button when she heard someone come into the room. So she shut the door and locked it. "Kiara I know your in there give Sam back to me and I'll leave you alone." Michelle said as got closer to the bathroom door. "Mommy" Sam whispered. "It's ok Sammy." Sarah whispered. Sam cuddled into Kiara and held Sarah's hand. "Ma'am you're coming with us." A voice said. "No I have to get my daughter back." Michelle said as she was dragged out of the room. "You guys ok?" A security guard said as they opened the door. Sarah and Kiara said yes and took Sam out of the bathroom. "We're gonna leave for the night. We'll be back tomorrow." Kiara said. "Promise" Sam said as she held her pinky out. "Promise" Kiara said as she made the pinky promise.
