Rafe and Sofia: Saving a life

Context:Rafe and Sofia were taking a walk and as they were taking a walk they saw a little girl whose name is Lily/Lilliana getting beat up by her dad. Lily is three years old.

"Daddy stop." Lily cried. Lily's dad just kept hitting her until Rafe saw what was happening and hit punched Lily's dad. "What the hell man." Lily's dad said as he held his face in pain. "You're hitting your kid and she's asked you to stop." Rafe said. "You don't understand you're not a dad." Lily's dad said. Sofia had picked Lily up and called 911. "My tummy hurts." Lily said as she cuddled into Sofia. "Oh no does it hurt like you're hungry?" Sofia said. "It's a owie hurt." Lily said. "I called 911 so they can help you." Sofia said. "I stay wifh you." Lily said. "We'll see baby." Sofia said. Rafe had stopped hitting Lily's dad when the police came. "Let me take a look at..." A paramedic said as she went up to Lily. "No lookie." Lily said qs she hid into Sofias neck. "The doctor needs to feel your tummy." Sofia said. "She come wifh me." Lily said. "Yes she can come with you." The paramedic said. Sofia carried Lily over to the ambulance while Rafe talked to the police officers. The paramedic checked Lily out and then loaded her into the ambulance. "Need her." Lily said as she made grabby hands at Sofia. "Go with her I'll take the car and meet you there." Rafe said as he saw Lily waving at him. "Ok I love you." Sofia said. "I love you too." Rafe said. "Mommy look bear." Lilly said. "I see baby." Sofia said. Once Sofia and Lily arrived at the hospital a lot of commotion was going on. So Sofia tuned everything out even when Rafe came to see her.

Three months later
"Daddy wake up Santa came." Lily said as she jumped on Rafes bed. "I'm up bean." Rafe said. "Mommy come on Santa came." Lily said. "I'm coming mi amor." Sofia said. Sofia picked Lily up and brought her to the living room. "Presents Santa left presents. Come on Mommy let's open presents." Lily said. "We have to wait for daddy." Sofia said. Rafe came downstairs and he saw Lily waiting to open presents. "Open this one first Lil." Sofia said as she pointed to a present. Lily opened the present and she pulled out a pink baby onesie. "Woah Mommy I can't fit this." Lily said. "It's not for you Lil it's for your baby sister." Sofia said. "Yea baby sister." Lily said. "Holy you're pregnant?" Rafe said. "Yea..." Sofia said. Rafe hugged Sofia and then he hugged Lily. "Well the gift I got you is nothing compared to this." Rafe said. "Did you get me those pink pots and pans I wanted?" Sofia said. "No I got you this." Rafe said as he gave Sofia an envelope. "What is this?" Sofia said as she opened the envelope. "Read it Mommy." Lily said. "This is what you made me sign. We're married now and Lily's in our full custody. Best Christmas ever." Sofia said. "Mommy and Daddy are married and I got a pink dinosaur yea." Lily said. Lily hugged her pink dinosaur and then she opened her last gift from which was from Kiara and Sarah. "Mommy what's a Florida trip?" Lily said. "A Florida trip let me see." Sofia said. Sofia looked at the paper Lily got from Kie and Sarah and read it to herself. "Oh your sister is inviting Lily to go to Florida so we can celebrate our honeymoon." Sofia said. "Florida? That's where we're going for our honeymoon I need to keep an eye on Lily." Rafe said. "Can't we go somewhere else. I think Lily will be fine with Sarah and Kiara." Sofia said. "She can go but I'm making sure they check in with me everyday and every hour." Rafe said. "Ok Mr protective." Sofia said. "Where's Lily?" Rafe said. Sofia and Rafe started looking around and calling out for Lily until they saw Lily outside lying on the ground. "Lily" Rafe said as he saw Lily on the ground. Rafe and Sofia ran outside and they saw Lily on the ground. "Lily baby girl wake up." Sofia said. "She's really pale and warm. She's sick why didn't she tell us?" Rafe said as he picked Lily up. Sofia grabbed an ice pack out of the freezer and she placed it on Lily's head. Lily started to wake up and as she was waking up Sofia saw Lily gagging. Sofia grabbed the trash can and Lily threw up into it. Rafe held Lily's hair back and then he picked her up once she was done. "Daddy sleep." Lily said as she laid on Rafe shoulder. "You can go to sleep baby girl." Rafe said as he rubbed her back. "I'll clean up the puke you can put her down for a nap." Sofia said. "You're not doing anything. You can take her to bed and I'll clean up the puke." Rafe said as he gave Lily to Sofia. "Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't..." Sofia said but was cutoff by Rafe. "I don't care my wife isn't moving a finger for the rest of her pregnancy." Rafe said. Sofia carried Lily to her bedroom and then she laid with her. "Love you baby girl." Sofia whispered.
