Context:After the hospital trip JJ and Kiara had a long talk about Ellie and what they needed to do to help her and their marriage. They sent Ellie to a mental hospital and they went to marriage counseling.

"Kiara someone's calling you." JJ yelled. "Answer it please." Kiara yelled. "Hello this is JJ Maybank speaking how can I help you." JJ said. "Hi your daughter Eliana needs to be picked up she's been really sick." A woman said over the phone. "Sick if you're calling her eating disorder a sickness then you're just rude." JJ said. "Mr Maybank I'm not talking about her eating disorder I'm talking about how she's been having severe stomach pain and she's not eating because of it." The woman said. "Ok we're on our way." JJ said. JJ hung up the phone and grabbed his keys. "Babe where are you going?" Kiara asked. "To pick up Ellie some lady says she's having really bad stomach pain." JJ said. "I'm coming to let me grab my purse." Kiara said. Kiara went to grab her purse while JJ grabbed a plastic bag and some snacks. "I'm ready." Kiara said. JJ and Kiara walked out and got into the car. "Ellie come on your parents are coming to get you." A man said. "I can't move you handcuffed me to my bed." Ellie said. "Right I'll handcuff you when they get here." The man said. The man left while Ellie struggled to sit up. JJ and Kiara went inside of the hospital and they saw a man go into a room. "Our daughter Ellie's here they said she had severe stomach pain." Kiara said. "She's in that room over there." The woman at the desk said. JJ and Kiara went into the room and they saw a man yelling at Ellie. JJ saw that Ellie was crying so he punched the man. Kiara grabbed the key that was on the table next to the bed and unlocked the handcuffs. "Ellie your wrists baby are you ok?" Kiara said. Ellie rolled over and puked onto the ground. Kiara held her hair back while JJ dragged the man out of the room. "Babe come grab Ellie we're taking her to the hospital." Kiara said. "My stomach hurts." Ellie groaned. JJ grabbed Ellie and carried her out to the car. Kiara found Ellie's suitcase so she took it with her. JJ placed Ellie into the backseat and then sat in the back with her. "Hurts Daddy." Ellie mumbled. "I know El we're almost there." JJ said. Ellie was in so much pain that she couldn't even grasp what Kiara was saying to her. "We're here take her inside while I park the car." Kiara said. JJ took Ellie inside while Kiara parked the car. A nurse helped Ellie and JJ had to sit in the waiting room and fill out paperwork. "I can't read it why can't I read it?" JJ said to himself. "Do you need help?" Kiara asked as she sat next to him. "No I can do it by myself." JJ said. "Honey I love you but no you can't." Kiara said. "I'm sorry." JJ said. "It's ok I can teach how to read better." Kiara said. "You're not gonna make fun of me right?" JJ said. "No Honey I won't I'm gonna give the papers back to the receptionist you stay here." Kiara said. Kiara got up and went to give the papers back to the receptionist. "Your daughter is Eliana right?" A nurse said as she came up to Kiara. "Yes that's my daughter is she ok?" Kiara asked. "She had surgery to get her appendix removed and the surgery is a very easy surgery." The nurse said. "Ok then what's wrong with her?" Kiara said. "She's ok but she's seems really confused we didn't give her anesthesia since it was an emergency but I'm not sure if she was given a drug that makes her confused." The nurse said. "You did a drug test can't you tell what drug she was given?" Kiara said. "As of right now we don't know what the drug is called but it is making her very confused." The nurse said. "But we can go see her right?" Kiara said. "Yes you can see we just wanted to let you know that she would be confused." The nurse said. "Ok thank you. JJ come on." Kiara said. JJ got up and grabbed Kiara's hand. "Here's her room. Just press the button over there if you or her need anything." The nurse said. "Ok thank you." Kiara said. JJ let go of Kiara's hand and hugged Ellie. "Why is he hugging me?" Ellie said. "Baby that's your dad." Kiara said. "Oh you smell funny." Ellie said. "I'm wearing cologne does it smell weird?" JJ said. "I just don't like the smell of it. Can I go home please." Ellie said. Ellie was trying to get up but Kiara stopped her. "Baby girl you need to rest." Kiara said. "Mom I need to go home." Ellie said. "You can't go home yet you need rest baby." Kiara said. "But I want to go home." Ellie said. "Hi Ellie I'm Doctor Sam and I see you just got your appendix removed." Doctor Sam said. "Yea can I go home now?" Ellie asked. "Not yet maybe tomorrow." Doctor Sam said. "If I eat something I can go home?" Ellie said. "Even if you eat something you still have to stay over night but your mom or dad can stay with you." Doctor Sam said. "Oh my mom can stay." Ellie said. "Ok I'll have a nurse bring a cot in." Doctor Sam said. "El why can't I stay?" JJ asked. "Because" Ellie said. "Because why?" JJ said. "Because you're rude." Ellie said. "Ok I'll see you tomorrow." JJ said. "Ok bye." Ellie said. JJ just gave Kiara a kiss and left. "Baby do you still want to go back after..." Kiara said but was cutoff by Ellie. "No that place was horrible I started stress eating to the point I was throwing up and then that guy dad punched he touched me and gave me weird drugs." Ellie said. Kiara just hugged Ellie and she kissed her forehead. "I thought I was gonna die." Ellie cried. "If I knew how bad it was I would've never sent you there." Kiara said. Ellie just sobbed into Kiara's arms. Kiara just held her while she sobbed.
