Rafe & Sofia:No more baby

Context:In the last Rafe and Sofia oneshot they saved a little girl named Lily and they took her in. On Christmas morning Sofia told Rafe and Lily she was pregnant but now she's sadly lost the baby due to a miscarriage and Rafes worried about her.

"Mommy I made you a picture at school." Lily said as Sofia shut the car door. "Ooo let me see it." Sofia said. Lily gave Sofia her picture and then she grabbed her snack out of her bag. "It's great baby you ready to go home and see daddy?" Sofia said. "Yea" Lily said. Sofia started driving home and when she got to a red light she waited for it turn green and as it turned green a car that was running a red light for the turn lane turned and hit her car. The car started to roll over and over and it rolled into a forest that was covered by trees. "Mommy bleeding." Lily said as she saw Sofias head bleeding. "Lily baby crawl out through the window." Sofia said. Lily crawled out and she waited by Sofias window. Sofia crawled out and she saw how bad her car was. "Mommy my head hurt." Lily said. "Come here baby." Sofia said as she held her arms out. Lily walked over to Sofia and she hugged her. "Daddy come save us right?" Lily said. "I'll call him hand me my phone." Sofia said. Lily gave Sofia her phone and she sat next to Sofia hugging her because of how cold it was outside. "Oh crap your coat." Sofia said as she saw Lily's coat was covered in glass. Sofia was on the phone with Rafe and she told him to hurry because she and Lily were freezing. She tried to call 911 but she couldn't see where she was and the calls kept dropping. Sofia and Lily were sitting for a little while when they heard someone yell Sofia. "Daddy" Lily said. Lily got up and she walked over to where the voice was coming from. "Ahh Lily come back." Sofia said as she tried to get up. Sofia got up and clutched her stomach as she walked through the forest. "Daddy" Lily said as she saw Rafe in his huge coat. "Hey princess where's... Sofia." Rafe said as he turned and saw Sofia lying on the ground. Rafe went over to her and picked her up. "Stay with me Sof stay with me." Rafe said as he carried Sofia to his car. Sarah and Kiara went with Rafe so they took Lily to the hospital and Rafe took Sofia. Rafe wasn't aloud in the room with Sofia so he stayed in the waiting room with Sarah and Kiara. "She'll be ok right and the baby hows the baby?" Sarah said. "There is no baby Sarah she had a miscarriage right after she told me she was pregnant." Rafe said. "Oh Rafe I'm so sorry how has she been doing." Sarah asked. "She didn't seem upset but I don't know maybe she was hiding it. Do you think she could've hid it?" Rafe said. "Probably she may not have wanted you to know. I'm sure she didn't want to tell you." Sarah said. "Why wouldn't she tell me I would've been there for her." Rafe said. "I don't know Rafe why don't you ask her when you see her." Sarah said. Rafe stopped talking and paced around the waiting room. "Rafe sit down you're making other people antsy." Sarah said. "My fiancé and daughter are getting worked on and I haven't gotten an update yet I'm sorry." Rafe said. "Mr Cameron you can go see your daughter and fiancé now." A nurse said as she went up to Rafe. Rafe grabbed his coat and followed the nurse. Sarah and Kiara followed and they both went into Sofias room first. "How's Lily?" Sofia asked. " We haven't seen her yet but Rafe is in there now." Sarah said. "She didn't look to hurt right?" Sofia said. "No she just had a few cuts on her arms and she was really cold." Kiara said. "I tried to keep her warm but I didn't wear my coat. And the car I don't have a car anymore Rafe is gonna be so mad." Sofia said as she started to cry. "Sofia it's ok Rafe can get you another car and he won't be mad he literally was pacing around the waiting room waiting to hear if you and Lily were ok." Sarah said. "But I'm not ok I have a huge cut on my stomach,my head is on fire, and I lost the baby the baby he was so excited to meet and now it's gone." Sofia cried. "Sof babe why are you crying?" Rafe said as he came into the room. "We're gonna go see Lily we'll let you know how she is." Sarah said as her and Kiara left. Rafe grabbed a tissue and wiped Sofias face. "Here drink your juice." Rafe said as he held Sofias apple juice box. "I can hold my own juice box." Sofia hiccuped. Rafe put the juice box down and he sat next to Sofia. "How's Lily she's not to hurt is she?" Sofia asked. "She's ok she's just has a mild concussion and a few cuts on her arms." Rafe said. "Thank god. I'm sorry about the car I can get a job once I'm better and pay you back for it." Sofia said. "You don't need to pay me back. I can afford to buy you a new car." Rafe said. "But I crashed it and I should buy the new one." Sofia said. "No baby I'm going to buy you a new car and make sure you're ok." Rafe said. Sofia started coughing so Rafe grabbed her water cup and held it for her as she drank some of it. "Thank..." Sofia said but started gagging at the end. Rafe grabbed the puke bowl and held it in front of her. "It's ok let it out." Rafe whispered as he rubbed Sofias back. Sofia stopped puking and laid back onto her pillow. "When can I go home?" Sofia asked. "I don't know hopefully soon I know Lily can go home in two days." Rafe said. "I want to go home can you ask?" Sofia said. Rafe went to ask the doctor when Sofia can go home while Sofia laid down. "In a week you can go home." Rafe said. "A week? Who's gonna take care of Lily?" Sofia said. "I will and my sister and Kie will help." Rafe said. "You better not hurt or else I will kill you." Sofia said. "I promise I won't I'm gonna go see her I promised her I'd give her a hug before I left." Rafe said. Rafe gave Sofia a kiss and then left the room.

A week later
"Easy baby girl your cuts are still slightly infected." Rafe said as he watched Sofia sit down on the couch. "I'm fine baby." Sofia said as she grabbed her water bottle from Rafes hand. "Your still healing." Rafe said. "I know but I don't need you babying me." Sofia said. "Well I'm your fiancé so I'm gonna baby you." Rafe said. "Where's Lily?" Sofia asked. "Sarah and Kie should be dropping her off soon." Rafe said. "Ok can you get me a snack?" Sofia asked. "Sure I'll make your favorite." Rafe said. Rafe went to the kitchen and made Sofia a little fruit bowl. "Here do you want juice or anything?" Rafe asked. "No I just want to see Lily." Sofia said. "I'll ask Sarah to drop her off." Rafe said. Rafe went to go call Sarah while Sofia sat on the couch eating her fruit bowl. Sofia was eating her fruit when she got a pain in her stomach. Rafe noticed her holding her stomach so he went over by her and asked her if she was ok. "Stomach." Sofia groaned. Rafe sat next to Sofia and held her while she was in pain. "Is it gone?" Rafe asked. "I think so." Sofia said. Rafe got up and went to go open the door. "Mommy" Lily said as she saw Sofia laying on the couch. "Lil be careful Mommy's still a little hurt." Sarah said. Lily ran to Sofia and she just waited until Sofia picked her up. "Hi baby." Sofia said. "Mommy up." Lily said. "I got her." Rafe said as he lifted Lily and put her onto the couch. "Mommy" Lily said. "Yes." Sofia said. "Snuggles." Lily said. Sofia opened her arms and Lily immediately cuddled into her chest. "Daddy snuggles too." Lily said. Rafe sat next to Sofia and let her lay down on his shoulder. "I love you." Rafe whispered. "I love you too." Sofia whispered.
