Kiara:Soo what do you do with a five year old who's sick

Context:After JJs death Kiara fostered a little girl who was 2 at the time she adopted the girl. Now Emilia or Emmy is spending time with Kiara while she's sick. Kiara is 25.

"Emmy baby why didn't you tell me you felt sick this morning?" Kiara said. "My tummy didn't hurt until I got to school." Emmy said. "When we get home do you want to take a bath?" Kiara said. "I guess but I'm tired." Emmy said. "You can a nap after you take a bath." Kiara said. "But I'm tired" Emmy whined. Kiara just kept driving and ignored Emmy who was crying. Once they got home Kiara got out of the car and carried Emmy inside since she said her tummy hurt too much to walk inside. "Do you think you can walk to the bathroom while I get some stuff to help you feel better." Kiara said. "I think so." Emmy said. Emmy walked very slowly to the bathroom until she walked faster. "Bubbas did you throw up?" Kiara yelled. Emmy was crying when she called for Kiara and she just sat next to the toilet wiping her face. "Don't cry bubs I'm right here." Kiara said as she grabbed Emmy. Emmy just curled into Kiara's arms and she cried while Kiara took her temperature. "You have a fever baby girl." Kiara said. "I do is that why I feel hot?" Emmy said as she wiped her face. Emmy turned around and she threw up into the toilet again. Kiara just rubbed her back and pulled her hair back. "Mommy uppy." Emmy whispered. Kiara picked Emmy up and brought her to her room. "You want to take a nap?" Kiara said. Emmy laid on the floor while Kiara just went to clean up. "Mommy" Emmy called out. "I'm coming bubs." Kiara yelled. Kiara went to Emmy's room and saw how pale she was looking. "Let's go to the bathroom." Kiara said as she picked Emmy up. "My tummy hurts again." Emmy said. "I know baby." Kiara said. Kiara sat Emmy down on top of the toilet seat. "Let's take a bath and see how you feel." Kiara said. "Ok" Emmy said. Kiara started the bath for her and she just sat in the bathroom while Emmy took a bath. Emmy finished her bath so Kiara wrapped her up in a towel and she helped Emmy change into some new clothes. "Can I have a little juice?" Emmy asked. "Yea you don't have to ask bubba." Kiara said. Emmy went downstairs with Kiara and she got a juice box. "Mommy are you mad that I'm sick?" Emmy asked. "No baby being sick isn't a bad thing." Kiara said. "But you left work early now you won't make money." Emmy said. "I left work early so I could pick you up I can start working in my office baby." Kiara said. "Oh I didn't ruin your day?" Emmy said. "No you didn't baby girl you can come sit with me in my office." Kiara said. Emmy asked Kiara to pick her up and she stood there until Kiara picked her up. "Baby your getting to big to pick up." Kiara said. "Ok Mommy." Emmy said. Emmy started to pout which made Kiara give in and pick her up. Emmy laid her head onto Kiara's shoulder and she placed her onto a chair that was in her office. "I'll be right back." Kiara said. "Ok" Emmy said. Kiara went to grab a trash can and a blanket for Emmy. Kiara came back and she saw that Emmy wasn't in the chair anymore. "Mommy" Emmy called out. Kiara dropped everything and went to wherever Emmy was. "Oh bubbas you really don't feel good." Kiara said. "It's red." Emmy said. Kiara looked into the toilet and saw that it was red. "We're gonna go to the doctor can you go put your shoes on?" Kiara said. Emmy went to put her shoes on and she waited for Kiara to come back. Kiara came back and she carried Emmy to the car. "Use this plastic bag if you have to puke again." Kiara said. "My tummy hurts." Emmy groaned. "I know baby we're almost there." Kiara said. Kiara arrived at the emergency room and they went inside and got checked in. "Mommy am I gonna get a shot?" Emmy said. "I'm not sure but I'll hold your hand." Kiara said. "Emilia Carrera." A nurse called out. Kiara got up and carried Emmy as she followed the nurse. "So we're having some tummy trouble and a fever?" The nurse said. "I checked her temperature about an hour ago and it was 101.4 and she's thrown up at least five times she also had a fever at school the nurse said it was 100.4." Kiara said. "Ok I can check her temperature right now just have her sit here." The nurse said. Emmy scooted away from Kiara and the nurse took her temperature. "102.3 that's pretty high I think we should have her admitted and then run some tests. "Ok should I help her change into gown?" Kiara asked. "Yes this once should fit her just fine." The nurse said. Kiara waited for Emmy to her gown on and as she was waiting she got a call from her mom.

Phone call
K:"Hey mom is this important I'm a little busy right now."
A:"I was calling you to see if I could come over and see Emmy you still haven't introduced me to her."
K:"Not today maybe a different day."
A:You've been saying that ever since you started fostering her. Have your friends even meet her yet?"
K:Can we talk about this later please."
A:Why not now?"
K:Because I'm at the hospital right now.
A:Why is something wrong?
K:Emmy's sick
A:Sick. How sick?
K:I don't know
A:I'll call one of my friends and have her come out to the hospital.
K:Ok
A:I'll see you sometime I love you
K:I love you too tell dad I love him too
A:I will bye
K:Bye
"Mommy help" Emmy whined. Kiara laughed when she saw that Emmy had her gown on backwards. Kiara helped Emmy fix her gown and then the doctor walked in. "Hi you must be mom." The doctor said. "Yes I am." Kiara said. "Ok so I know she has a fever but you wrote down that her vomit was red. Do you think it was blood or something she drank?" The doctor said. "It might've been but she's only had apple juice and some water." Kiara said. "I want to have some scans done to see if there's anything internal going on." The doctor said. "Go ahead I just want to make sure she's ok." Kiara said. "I'll have a nurse come and prep her for the scans." The doctor said. "Ok thank you." Kiara said. The doctor left the room and Emmy just started playing with the cups that were in the room. "Baby stop touching the cups please." Kiara said. "But I'm bored." Emmy said. "Well come sit with me." Kiara said. Emmy sat next to Kiara and she just watched a show on her phone. "Oh my god Kiara it's been so long." A girl said as she walked by the room. "Sarah? What are you doing here?" Kiara said. "Your mom called me and told me to bring you a burger and chicken nuggets from the wreck." Sarah said. "Oh thank you how much do I owe you?" Kiara said. "Nothing you don't have to pay me back." Sarah said. "Are you sure?" Kiara said. "I'm sure Kie." Sarah said. "Mommy hug." Emmy said. Kiara grabbed Emmy and gave her a hug. "Who's that Mommy?" Emmy said. "That's Sarah she's an old friend." Kiara said. "Oh she doesn't look old." Emmy said. Sarah laughed which made Emmy laugh too. "We've been friends for a long time she just brought us some food." Kiara said. "She likes likes you Mommy." Emmy said. "No I don't." Sarah said as her cheeks turned red. "Hmm I think you do." Emmy said. "I gotta go I'll see you later Kie." Sarah said. "Ok bye I'll see you later." Kiara said. Sarah walked out of the room and she just went home while Kiara just sat with Emmy. "I love you Mommy." Emmy said. "I love you too baby." Kiara said as she tucked Emmy in. Kiara was grabbing her purse and getting ready to leave when she felt someone grab her by her neck. Emmy screamed and she just ran out of the room. A few nurses and security came into the room and they saw Kiara laying on the ground bleeding. "Emmy where's Mommy?" A voice said. Emmy went up to the person who called her name and she just hugged them. "It's ok Emmy let's go see Mom—-Kie what the hell happened?" The voice said. "Sarah is Mommy dead?" Emmy said. "I don't know Emmy." Sarah said. Sarah took Emmy back to the waiting room and she saw doctors performing CPR on Kiara. "If she makes it I'll drop everything and marry her." Sarah whispered.
