Chapter 41 Book a room.

The taxi stopped and Stella quickly pushed open the door. She saw Drake standing on the side of the road with Isabella's bag in his hand.

Stella ran towards him and hugged him. "Tell me what happened, why did you guys take this route?" Stella asked as she tried not to shout.

She was about to go crazy but she needed to be calm if she wants her daughter back.

She saw Drake looking in a particular direction. "The taxi driver is dead." Drake said as he led Stella to the car which had crashed into a big rock.

Stella walked towards the car and saw the taxi driver resting on the steering wheel with a bullet hole on his head. She quickly covered her eyes and looked away.

" Let's go to the police station." Stella said as she picked up her phone and dialed Mira's number. Her hands were shaking and her body trembled.

She couldn't believe it, her daughter was gone.

Stella and Drake got into the taxi as they drove towards the police station. Mira was already there when Stella arrived and Stella was surprised to see Tyson with some policemen.

" Stella." Tyson called as he ran towards Stella and pulled her into his arms. Her eyes were red and she looked like a soulless being." Everything will be ok. We will find her." Tyson assured as Stella finally let out the drum of tears she had been holding.

Her legs went weak and she fell to the ground but Tyson quickly held her hands and pulled her up.

" Stella, we will find her, don't worry." Mira said as she hugged Stella and patted her back. She knew what Stella went through before she gave birth to her. She knew the bond between them was something that could never be broken and her sudden disappearance had dealt Stella a heavy blow.

" Let's go in." Tyson said as he led them in.

Stella sat on the chair and waited for the police to call them in. She bent her head and prayed for nothing to happen to Isabella.

Minutes later, they were called in but only Stella and Drake were allowed in.

The chief policeman stood at the corner as he answered a phone call. He nodded and glanced at Stella who's eyes had turned red before ending the call. He walked into the room where Stella was and whispered something to the policeman who attended to them.

The policeman nodded and secretly glanced at Stella. The chief policeman walked out of the room.

" So what's your case?" The policeman asked.

" My daughter was kidnapped, please help me find her." Stella begged as she knelt down with her hands clasped together. She knew she was in a police station but she didn't care about losing face. Her daughter was the most important right now.

" Where was she kidnapped?" The officer asked."

" Mountain road." Drake replied.

" Tell me everything that happened before she went missing." The officer said.

Stella looked at Drake and nodded at him.

" When I closed from school, I went to Isabella's school to pick her up. After we got into a taxi, we were taking our normal route home when we suddenly noticed three black cars stalking us. The driver also noticed it so he drove faster but the three black cars caught up to us in seconds. Two were beside us and the last one was behind. The car on the right went back and the car on the left clashed with ours and started pushing us to the right. The driver saw a road on the right side so he turned into the road and increased his speed but still the three black cars caught up. The driver stopped the car, making them think that the car stopped moving but when they got closer, they came down and walked towards our car, the driver quickly stepped on the gas and drove away. Seconds later, they caught up to us again. They hit our car from the right side and behind, making us crash into a big rock that was on the left side of the road. The car stopped moving and the men had already started walking towards our car. They shot the driver in the head and forcefully pulled Isabella out of the car. They knocked her out because she wasn't willing to go with them. I couldn't see their faces because they were all dressed in black. They got back into their car and drove away with Isabella." Drake said.
