Chapter 34 Reagan's birthday banquet II

Sophia, Sophie and Katherine walked into the hall and was amazed by the beauty but that wasn't on Sophia's mind now.

She looked around for Reagan but couldn't find him.

" Sophia, let's go and greet the old master." Katherine said as she led the way.

" Old master Brighton." Sophia said as she bowed in respect.

The old master only nodded and adverted his gaze. He has been watching Reagan and Adriana while he chatted with Mr Sinclair, Adriana's father.

Seeing him ignore her, Sophia silently stomped her foot on the floor.

" Let's go Sophia, he seems to be busy." Katherine whispered.

" Busy doing what, he's clearly staring at one direction." Sophia said as she followed his gaze.

" Sophia, Reagan is over there, near the champagne fountain, go quickly." Katherine said as she turned Sophia around and gave her a little push while she stood back and watched.

Sophia smiled as she walked towards Reagan and Adriana, glancing at the ring that was still on her finger.

She picked a glass of wine from the champagne fountain before walking towards Reagan. "Happy birthday Young master Reagan." Sophia said as she stretched her hand that had the ring on it, giving him the wine.

Reagan at first wanted to ignore her but when he looked at her fingers that held the cup, he saw the ring. Excitement showed on his face as he pushed Adriana away and drew Sophia into his arms, hugging her tightly like as if she would run away the next minute.

Adriana was confused and dumbfounded on the spot. She looked at old master who also had a confused expression.

" Reagan what are you doing, why are you hugging her so passionately, you have never hugged me like that before." Adriana said as tears began to stream down her face.

Sophia acted like she didn't know what was happening. She broke off from the hug but Reagan still held her.

At this time, everybody's attention was focused on them. Gossips could be heard from every corner.

" Reagan Brighton, what are you doing, hugging another woman when your future wife is beside you." The old master's voice sounded with a hint of anger.

Reagan held Sophia's hand as he led her to where the old master and the old lady was.

" Grandma, I finally found her, look, the silver moon ring is on her hand." Reagan said as he raised her hand up.

The old lady gasped as a smile appeared on her lips. "Come here my child." She smiled.

Sophia walked towards the old lady, feigning a confused expression.

" What is going on here, who's this woman, someone should explain to me, now" The old master shouted as he glanced at Adriana who had tears all over her face and was standing close to her father.

Reagan sighed. He knew his grandfather was going to be angry once he heard what he was about to say.

" Grandfather, calm down, this shameless woman wants to get rid of me so she took advantage of Reagan when he was drunk." Adriana said as she squeezed more tears out.

"What! What did you do Reagan, explain to me now!" The old master shouted. He was starting to get angry.

" Grandfather, this woman is my lifesaver, she saved me three years ago in a club when I was drugged by someone, she gave me her innocence and saved my life if not, your grandson would have died a long time ago. I vowed to find her, bring her back and take responsibility for her and that's what I'm going to do, she's the one I'm going to marry, not Adriana." Reagan said and the whole hall went into an uproar.
