Chapter 7 Reagan's brother

Reagan looked at her then forcefully shaked her hands off his.

Sophia stubbornly held unto his hand again.
" Get your hands off me!" Reagan said, his voice devoid of any warmth.

Sophia still held unto him and shouted " Mum, dad please let me marry Reagan, if I don't marry him, I'll run away from home and kill myself!"

Just then, Mr Gabriel and Mrs Katherine walked over.
" Everyone, my princess has chosen Reagan, thanks for attending her birthday banquet." Katherine shouted on purpose, she saw Reagan pushing away Sophia's hand so she quickly shouted those words out.

As expected, the whole crowd turned and looked at them.

Reagan laughed as he remembered the plan he made up the previous day. He raised up his ring finger and showed everybody the ring before saying " I'm sorry Mrs Sophia, I can't marry you because I'm already married."

The whole crowd were bewildered by what Reagan said. Gossips could be heard coming out from the crowd.

" Why did you get married, if not Sophia had already gone to meet you, I would have courted you first!" A woman shouted.

" When did you get married?" Sophia asked.

" I keep my privacy to myself, I like being low-key so I can decide if I want to make it public or not." Reagan replied, it seemed like his plan really worked.

" Who's the lucky woman?" A man asked. He wanted to know which woman could win over this man's heart.

" Why would I tell you, do you want to go and secretly court her?" Reagan asked as he faked an angry face.

" Wait, that isn't even a wedding ring!"

Reagan raised his ring finger and said " It's my wedding ring so I had it customized to the golden sun ring and the silver moon ring, do you have a problem with that?"

" So where's the silver moon ring?"

" It's with my wife of course, if you see a woman with a silver moon ring, know that she's my wife and please do contact me." Reagan wanted to use this way to find the girl, he's real wife.

Sophia angrily let go of his hand and walked away but she didn't drop her thoughts, she still wanted to marry him.

Maybe if she could become his second wife, she could find a way to kill his first wife so she can enjoy all his wealth.

So my plan really worked, ha, and they believed. Reagan laughed as he walked towards Mr Gabriel to discuss businesses and cooperation, the main reason why he came here.

At this time, the Brooks family were short of money for starting a new business, they needed cooperation to get money and they also signed contracts.

Reagan was happily signing contracts and sending large amount of money to them. He gave them almost all the money they needed for the project.

When Reagan was done discussing business, he stood up and left, even when the party wasn't over yet.

Just as he was about to enter his car, he heard someone shouting his name from behind, he stopped and looked at the person. Didn't this girl fall for the lie I told.

Sophia ran and stood in front of Reagan with a drink in her hand. " Mr Reagan, I noticed you didn't have anything to drink during the party, why not have some wine before you go." Sophia smiled.

Blake looked at Reagan and Reagan was obviously thinking the same thing but in order not to embarrass her in front of the crowd, he took the drink and entered his car.
