In the meantime, Stella stayed with Reagan in his office. She helped him in sorting out some files and running little errands.
When he went for a meeting, he took Stella along and introduced her to all his business partners. They had lunch then took a stroll around the company to see how far the decorations had gone.
Stella noticed Amy had been watching them since they came out of the office. She purposely kissed Reagan on the spot to make her angry.
Reagan, who didn't know what was going on, thought Stella was being romantic and decided to play along with her romance.
Amy's face was painted with anger and jealousy. Remembering something, she stepped out of her hiding place and walked towards them.
"Boss," She called out.
Reagan turned and looked at her as she got closer. He noticed Stella's hand on his tightened.
"Boss, have you thought about what I told you. I went shopping yesterday and I bought a pretty dress for our date night.. I mean dinner night. I've booked the restaurant already," She paused then looked at Stella. "Or did Mrs. Stella not allow you go?" She asked then quickly feigned an innocent look.
"Mrs. Stella, don't get me wrong. I only invited him to treat him to dinner as a form of thanking him. I don't mean any harm." She quickly defended.
Stella crossed her hands and looked at her. "Why defend yourself when you haven't been accused. I didn't say you were planning on doing anything, you said it yourself." Stella pointed out.
If they weren't looking, she could have slapped her own mouth for speaking too fast. She needs to think of a way out of this.
Reagan stood silent with a proud look on his face. This woman knows how to trap people with their own words. He looked at Amy and saw her holding her head with her eyes closed.
His brows furrowed. She was clearly ok just now.
"Boss, my head... ahh!" She staggered and fell towards Reagan's direction but before she could land on his chest, another hand blocked her and supported her up.
"Are you alright?" Stella asked, even though she knew it was on purpose.
"Ahh, thank you." Amy muttered, trying to conceal the anger in her voice. Why did Stella have to step in and catch her.
"Boss, I don't feel so well, can you take me to the sickbay. I don't think I can walk alone, I might collapse on my way." Amy added.
Stella rolled her eyes and walked away. It's up to Reagan if he wants to help her or not. Watching her pretend is making her sick.
Stella went back to his office and sat on her chair. She turned on the computer Reagan had given her and decided to watch a movie.
Minutes later, she heard the door open and close. The clicking sound the handmade leather shoe made when it touched the ground echoed around the room.
Stella didn't look up, she already knew who it was.
Reagan walked around his table then pulled the chair out. He sat on it and turned his gaze to the woman sitting not far away from him. He stretched his hand and grabbed the handle of the chair.
Stella was paying attention to the movie on the screen when she suddenly felt her chair moving.
Reagan didn't stop until their chair was inches away from each other. He knew what she was thinking after she left him in the hallway.
"Is she alright now?" Stella asked, finally turning her gaze to meet his.
"I had Blake come up and take her to the nurse."
