She was nervous earlier but now she was already chatting freely with him. She didn't know why anytime she saw him, at first she will be nervous but once they started talking, she won't feel nervous again.

Stella's eyes darted around. She didn't dare to look at the man who sat in front of her because she knew his unmoving gaze was fixed on her.

She was starting to feel nervous again, why was he staring at her like that. "Boss, is there any reason why you called me?" Stella broke the silence because she couldn't take it anymore.

" Call me Reagan." Reagan said as he crossed his legs but his gaze never left hers.

" Huh! I can't call you that, you are my boss." Stella said.

" I'm your boss so aren't you supposed to be obedient and do whatever I say?" Reagan asked.

" But..."

" No buts."

" I can't call you that in public." Stella said with helplessness.

" That's fine, you can call me Reagan when we are alone, it's your choice if you want to call me Reagan in public." Reagan said. He knew her calling him by his name in public will definitely ring a bell so he didn't want to make things difficult for her.

" Oh ok, but you haven't answered my question." Stella said as her eyes followed Reagan who had gotten up and was now standing in front of the floor to ceiling window.

He scratched the back of his head, thinking of what to use to answer her question. "I called you so we could talk, we were interrupted by the lady the other day." Reagan said, happy that he found a random reason to make her stay but the next moment, Stella jumped down from the table and started heading towards the door.

" I'm sorry, I can't stay." Stella said as she walked towards the door but her hand was suddenly grabbed by a strong force, pulling her back, making her crash into his strong chest.

" Why are you leaving?" Reagan asked with a sad voice.

Stella looked at him, surprised that he was sad when she said she was leaving. She didn't really want to leave but she also didn't want trouble with that woman.

" I'm sorry but I can't keep seeing you, what if your wife finds out, I don't want to cause trouble between the two of you." Stella said, still in his embrace but she didn't notice. Her mother taught her not to take what wasn't her's and taking someone else's husband was like committing a crime to her.

A loud laugh suddenly escaped from Reagan's mouth, dispelling her thoughts. Stella looked at him shocked that he only laughed when she mentioned his wife.

" What wife, who are you talking about?" Reagan asked.

Stella was confused. "The lady from that day when we last met, she said she was your wife." Stella replied.

Another laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" Stella asked.

" When did you see me get married to that woman?" Reagan asked. She looked really cute when she was confused and he had to admit that.

" Isn't she your wife, she told me to stay away from you." Stella was really confused this time.

" She only said that because she didn't want you to compete with her for me, I'm not married, I'm still single and I won't marry her." Reagan said as he adjusted his hand that was on her waist. Stella still hadn't noticed it yet.

" Compete with her, I wasn't doing that." Stella said.

" But I want you to." Reagan said.

" Huh?" Stella wasn't sure if she heard what he said correctly. "So you are not married?" Stella asked as her heart began dancing in her chest.
