Chapter 40 Isabella got abducted.

Adriana walked into a hotel room with a red mini gown. She took off her high heels and proceeded into the room.

A muscular man laid on the bed with a smirk on his face." You got rejected again?" He asked.

Adriana rolled her eyes as she walked towards the bed.

" Why don't you just leave that good for nothing Reagan and stick to me. You keep getting rejected everytime, he doesn't like you." The man said as he sat up and took off his shirt when he saw Adriana taking of her clothes.

" Even if he keeps rejecting me, I wouldn't stop. I'll marry him at the end because the so called woman he's planning to marry doesn't have any child." Adriana said as she sat on his lap.

" Since you have already been betrothed to another man, why then do you keep coming to me?" The man asked as he threw her into the bed.

" I can't resist. Besides, nobody knows about our secret relationship. If he doesn't want me now, I'll find someone to fill in the gap until he wants me." Adriana smiled as she pulled his face towards hers.

" I'll gladly fill in the gap." The man said as he began tracing kisses on Adriana's neck.

Sophia and Reagan sat in the car as the chauffeur drove them back home.

Reagan's phone vibrated and it was a call from the old master.

" Hello grandpa." Reagan answered.

" Are you purposely ignoring your grandfather. It's been weeks since you last came to visit. I'm sure that woman is the one to be blamed. Ever since she appeared, you started acting strange. Ditch that woman already." The old master said. He was starting to get annoyed with Sophia.

" We will come and visit you tomorrow, how about that?" Reagan asked as he closed his eyes and rested his head on the headrest, waiting to hear another series of complains from his grandfather.

" Oh so now you remember that you have a grandfather. What has that woman done to you."

" Grandfather please. I'm not in the mood now." Reagan said as he rubbed his forehead. Ever since he left his office with Sophia, his mood decreased.

" This shows that you are not happy with Sophia. Reagan, grandfather knows what he's telling you. Sophia is not the right woman for you and you know that. Ditch that woman and I promise I won't force you to marry who you don't want to marry. I don't like her and she looks like she has ulterior motives." The old master continued.

" Alright grandpa, good night." Reagan ended the call and looked outside the window.

" What did grandpa say?" Sophia asked. She had a feeling they were both talking about her.

" We are going to visit tomorrow. Get ready." Reagan said then closed his eyes. He was extremely tired.

The car came to a halt and Reagan was the first to jump down. He walked into the hall and went straight to his room.

Sophia was a bit confused. Why was he acting strange?

She walked into the room and heard the shower running. This is her chance. She should try again.

She sat on the bed and took off her shoes before removing her dress, leaving her with the small pieces of clothes she wore inside.

She stood in front of the dress table and took the brush to comb her hair.

The door opened and Reagan stepped out in a black bathrobe." I'll be in the library." He said and didn't even give Sophia time to reply before walking out.
