Reagan took Stella to the office balcony to enjoy the view of the sunset. The city underneath was covered with the golden light that came from the sun.
Stella smiled as she turned to look at Reagan. "It's beautiful." She said.
Reagan moved closer and hugged her from behind. "The way the sun brights up the city, that's how you bright up my world."
"Mmm." Stella smiled.
"By the way, Brighton's anniversary is next tomorrow, do I get to see your mysterious dress before then?" He asked.
Stella shook her head. "No you don't. You'll see it on that day."
Reagan pouted and looked away.
Stella giggled at his reaction. She looked at the box on her hand then called out. "Reagan, Amy gave me this box at the cafeteria. I don't know what she's intending to do by giving me this. What do you think?"
Reagan looked at her hand and indeed, she was holding a small exquisite box. "Have you opened it?"
Stella shook her head. Reagan gestured for her to open it and when she did, a perl necklace came in sight.
Reagan looked at it then turned to the view in front of him. "She probably gave it to you because she's treating me to dinner today. She wants to use it to keep you off."
"Oh. But don't forget what I told you to do." Stella reminded.
Reagan smiled and patted her head. "I won't."
"So what time is your dinner?"
"8pm."
"Why so late at night, can't it be in the morning or afternoon?"
"What, are you scared that something might happen?" Reagan asked.
"I'm not scared, I'm just worried that she might try something on you."
"Mmm, so you are worried about me?"
"Who's worried about you. If she tries something on you and you fall for it, that's the last day you are going to see me." Stella replied and all the color on Reagan's face disappeared.
"Stella, please." Reagan pleaded.
Stella smiled and grabbed his tie, she pulled it down until his face was very close to hers. "You should personally let her know that I don't share what's mine, especially you."
Reagan's eyes widened in surprise. "Can you please say that again." He asked as his hands slid around her waist.
"You belong to me and you don't have the option of leaving, so you have no choice than to be mine forever."
"I'll gladly be yours forever."
"Mmm. See you tonight. I feel tired, I'll leave first." Stella said as she walked back into her office.
"I'll drop you off."
"No need, I can go back my....ahh, Reagan put me down!"
"No, I'll drop you off myself."
"Put me down!"
"Kiss me ten times then I'll drop you down."
"No."
"Ok then, we are using the public elevator and leaving through the front door."
"What!" Stella panicked. There were thousands of people working in the company, it would be embarrassing if they were to come out like this.
But wait, who cares about what they are going to say. If they are jealous, they should go and find themselves a partner.
Reagan is her partner and she's gonna flaunt it.
