Stella clutched her stomach as she staggered into one of the guest bedroom toilet. She held the sink with both hands and brought her head down.

Why was she feeling nauseous and weak? She turned on the tap and splashed water on her face before staggering back into the room.

Stella laid on the bed and closed her eyes. She was breathing heavily and her eyes were dizzy. Thinking back to the argument she had with Reagan, she felt a little unhappy.

She didn't mean to shout at him the way she did. She had lost control of her emotions. Stella looked at the door, hoping to see him walk through so she could apologize but to her disappointment, 30 minutes passed and she didn't see any sign of Reagan.

He's probably angry at her. Stella climbed into the bed and laid on it. She pulled the sheets up and covered herself with it before eventually falling asleep.

10 minutes later, the door to the room pushed open. Reagan walked in and scanned the room with his eyes. Sighting the small lump on the bed, he moved closer and gently pulled the sheets off her body.

She stirred in her sleep and instantly curled up her body to keep herself warm.

Reagan's eyes moved to her face. Her brows were a bit furrowed and her lips were looking pale.

Without wasting time, he leaned down and scooped her petite body into his arms.

Walking out of the guest room, he made his way into their master bedroom. Reagan closed the door behind him then walked towards the bed.

He climbed onto it then slowly dropped her on the bed. Reagan pulled the sheets and covered her with it. He leaned down, after planting a kiss on her forehead, he got off the bed and walked to the balcony to make a call.

Stella woke up late the next morning. She sat up and looked around the room. Wait, how did she get here when she remembered sleeping in the guest room last night?

Reagan must have brought her here after she fell asleep. Stella got off the bed and walked out of the room. The maids greeted her as she walked pass them. She stood on the top stairs and looked around the living room but found no sign of Reagan.

Her shoulders dropped in disappointment. He left already. Did their argument last night really anger him?

Stella turned and walked back into the room. She would try contacting him later. She needed to go and see her dad in the hospital.

Entering into the room, Stella walked towards the bedside table where her phone laid. She picked it up and sent a message to her mom before going into the bathroom to shower.

Minutes later she came out. After doing all the necessary arrangements, Stella and Isabella got into the car. The chauffeur drove them to her mom's apartment.

"Grandma." Isabella called out as she ran into her embrace.

Mrs. Amelia smiled and carried her up.

"Mum." Stella called with a smile.

Mrs. Amelia smiled and looked around. Seeing it's only two of them, she frowned and asked, "Where's my son-in-law?"

Before Stella could answer, Isabella spoke up. "Daddy left very early this morning, he was looking unhappy when I saw him through my window."

Mrs. Amelia frowned even more with her eyes focused on Stella. "Isabella, go in and greet grandma Genevieve, she's been waiting to see you."

"Ok grandma." In a blink of an eye, she had already ran into the house.
