Prayer 118
Almighty God, the blessed virgin Mary responded in faith to Your message from the angel: "Let it be to me according to your word" (Luke 1:38). Grant us also to receive Your words in faith, humbly trusting in Your will, that the life of Christ You have given to us by the power of the Holy Spirit may come to its fullness at the day of His return through the same Jesus Christ our Lord amen.

Lord Jesus, in the blessed Sacrament of the Altar, Your body and blood once offered up on the cross are given out to us for our forgiveness. Help us always to treasure this miraculous gift.
Grant that as we are filled with Your life, we may show forth Your love to the world, that others may be drawn into Your fellowship; for You live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit one God now and forever amen.

Holy and merciful God, on this day, all the sins of the world were judged and answered for in the death of Your Son, Jesus. Jesus, You invite all who are weary and burdened to come to You for rest.
O Lord, I am weary and frustrated by the pains and the disorder I am suffering. I come to You, clinging to Your promise of mercy. Grant me to know that when I am weak, then I am strong in You. For You became weak for me even unto death. Bring me through this dark valley to the day of the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting amen.
